Callistus Uzodinma, popularly known as C-Fly, a 300-level student of Rivers State University, has secured the grand prize of N10 million and a brand new Changan CS35 Plus car.

The grand finale of the second edition of the reality TV show, which was held at the prestigious International Conference Centre, Abuja, saw C-Fly beat 16 other finalists, in his exceptional talent dance performances.

Queen Aliyu, a student of Theatre and Performing Arts at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and Fortune Onyekachi (Graham), a student of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively. Both runners-up received a cash prize of N2 million each along with other benefits.

The second edition of the BBM Africa reality TV show, themed "Rep Your Campus," housed 30 talented contestants known as "Dream Mates". These participants were carefully selected after a nationwide audition that spanned key cities, including Abuja, Enugu, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kano, with a total of 182 universities participating.

Barr. Orbby Agwuncha aka BossLadyLaw the Executive Producer of The Big Break Moment Africa, expressed the organization's commitment to talent discovery and development, aiming to empower Nigerian youths through the unique platform provided by the reality show.

"We do what we do because we want a better Nigeria. We want our youths to be empowered through talent discovery and development," said the Founder of the Big Break Moment Africa Tayo Folorunsho (Teeflo)

The BBM Africa reality TV show, now in its second edition, serves as an 'edutainment' platform that seeks to bridge the gap between classroom education and the entertainment industry. It provides talented students from tertiary institutions across Africa with an opportunity to showcase their abilities and pursue their dreams.

It was an emotional moment on Saturday as Promiseland, a real estate firm, in conjunction with Defence and Police Officers Wives Association, DEPOWA, presented plots of land to families and widows of fallen Nigerian heroes.

The donation was part of activities to mark the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

The event, which took place at the DEPOWA Secretariat in Abuja, attracted officials and members of the association within and outside the nation’s capital.

According to the real estate firm, the gesture was to appreciate the families of those who paid the supreme price for the peace and unity of Nigeria.

In his remarks, the CEO of Promiseland Estate, Ambasador Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel, who was represented by the Chief Communications Officer of the company, Emmanuel Odukwe, said the gesture is a token of appreciation for the fallen heroes and their families.

"This gesture is a token of appreciation for the fallen heroes and their families. On behalf of my boss, Ambassador Lawrence Emmanuel, MON, we honor their sacrifices for the peace and unity of Nigeria.

“Ambassador Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel and the entitre management of Promiseland Estate deeply value the sacrifices of these heroes, and through this initiative, we aim to express our gratitude in a tangible and meaningful way."

On her part, the president of DEPOWA, Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa, lauded the company for the donation, while noting that the gesture will create a sense of belonging among the widows and families of the deceased military officers.

Ako Obioma, Managing Director of Worldwide Environment Tech Ltd and Daman Resources Nig Ltd, is facing severe criticism over alleged contract scams in Abia and Imo states.

The accusations come from various quarters, including a scathing statement by former Abia Speaker Rt. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji and a damning revelation from the Abia Reform Movement (ARM).

In a strongly worded statement signed by Jude Ndukwe spokesperson to the former Abia Speaker, Rt. Hon Chinedum Orji accused Ako Obioma of being a "crooked contractor" who diverted government funds meant for road projects to acquire exotic cars without delivering on the jobs.

"Ako Obioma is on record as one of those contractors in Abia state that did perfect the ignoble art of collecting government funds released for road contracts to buy exotic cars without delivering on the jobs. His dishonesty is nauseating and he can not possibly be someone that should offer any advice."

Also, a press statement by the Abia Reform Movement (ARM), signed by its Convener, Comrade Theodore Nwabueze and Mr Okechukwu Solomon and made available to the media on Monday in Umuahia the Abia State capital, described Ako Obioma as "a shamelessly desperate individual who has perfected the ignoble art of diverting public funds meant for road projects to his personal use."

ARM vowed to further expose the common thievery perpetrated by Ako Obioma whom they described as being notorious for absconding with funds meant for road projects once he is mobilised by government thereby shortchanging the people in the process.

"The claim that the notoriously failed contractor 'executed and handed over huge number of completed road infrastructural (sic) projects, and other meaningful and peoples-oriented (sic) projects...' is not only mischievous and ridiculous but a lie from the pit of hell peddled by enemies of the people.

"Those who peddled that falsehood failed to mention even if it is just one project among the so-called 'huge number of projects' they claimed Ako delivered. They could not have because there was actually none! Such 'huge number of projects' exists only in the deranged imagination of Ako Obioma the failed crooked contractor and his media hirelings.

"It is not only in Abia State that he used his companies to grossly shortchange and sabotage government efforts at providing infrastructure for the people, he extended his malfeasance to Imo State where he was awarded the contracts for the construction of Umuezegwu-Ogbor Ahiazu-Ekwereazu Ahiara Mbaise Road; and the Umuaka through Dikenafai Road and the Okwelle Roundabout.

"Just like he disappointed and abysmally failed his own kinsmen in Umuopara, Umuahia South LGA where he absconded with the contract sums paid for the construction of the all-important Umuopara Ring Road without executing the job, Ako Obioma 'exported' his ineptitude, incompetence and thievery to the people of Ihitte Oboma, Ahiazu Mbaise, Ideato South and Onuimo all in Imo State who till date still suffer the hardship imposed upon them as a result of the non-execution of the contracts awarded for the construction of their roads but which were all abandoned after Ako Obioma the crooked contractor got mobilised but absconded as usual with the funds.

"All Ako Obioma is interested in is the inordinate acquisition and endless primitive accumulation of exotic cars, including about 6 convertible Mercedes Benz cars, a Lamborghini car among others which he drives with glee even in his own community where he is held in both disdain and opprobrium; ostentatious holiday get-aways etc all at the expense of government and the people.

"Such an avaricious, rapacious and voracious element is supposed to be checked into a mental home for a psychiatric check as his level of mindless diversion of public funds is bewildering.

"We advise Ako Obioma to toe the honourable path of apologising to his people in Umuopara for failing them and also consider the option of making restitution to them and all the other communities extending to Imo State for absconding and living fat on their funds without delivering on the jobs he was mobilised for.

"This is the only way he can get some respite from his self-imposed restiveness and crookery," the statement concluded.

Efforts to obtain a response from Ako Obioma regarding these serious allegations proved futile as calls to his known phone number failed to connect.

The Chairman Seman Global Project Amb. Dr. Maxwell Stephen Nweze, has marked his birthday with free medical outreach in Enugu State.

This he said is part of his avowed commitment in touching humanity.

The humanitarian outreach took place between June 25-27th.

Hospitals visited include, National Orthopedic Hospital, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital and ESUTH Parklane hospital.

During the visit, Amb. Nweze offset medical bills of some of the patients in the hospital, including those who have not been able to go home as a result of their inability to pay.

He was overwhelmed with emotions in the case a particular woman with a critical ailment but was unable to receive care as a result of financial challenge.

When asked why he wept, Amb. Nweze said he was taken back memory lane to a time when he was in a similar situation but could not pay.

He expressed sadness that families and individuals are passing through challenges as a result of the country's economic situation.

This is not the first time his organisation is engaging in humanitarian outreach. He had in recent times roles out community development projects and Estates around communities in Enugu and Abuja in an effort to give rural and urban communities an improved living standard.

Not long ago, the chairman Seman Global Project led a team in a novelty football who won the Peace Charity Football Match 2023.

The Seman Team edged the Christ Showers Mercy Foundation 1- 0 to emerge winner of the sporting exercise which took place at Turf Arena Sports Centre Wuse 2 Abuja and is aimed at promoting unity and peaceful co-existence in the country.

Seman Global Project is a real estate company which boasts of enviable track record, with specialty in Land procurement, Land Recertification, Clearing of Estate Land, Beaconing, Erosion Management, Building Construction and Property Maintenance.

He recently established Seman Global estate in the South East region, targeted at offering the people an affordable housing for low and middle income earners.

Amb. Nweze has also carved a niche for himself as someone that has assisted several entrepreneurs in Abuja and beyond, aside several humanitarian gestures he had undertaken.

The Seman Global Project boss was accompanied by friends and associates who travelled from Abuja and Lagos to be part of the humanitarian outreach.

Amb. Amafibe Congratulates Tinubu, Oborevwori On Inauguration

The Project Director Peace Ambassador Agency, 100 Most Notable Peace Icons, Peace Achievers International Awards and KADD Properties, Amb Kingsley Amafibe, has congratulated Nigeria’s new President, Bola Tinubu and the governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori on their inauguration.

While Tinubu was inaugurated at Eagles Square on Monday as the country's 16th President at an event in Abuja which had world leaders and captains of industry, Oborevwori who takes over from his successor, Ifeanyi Okowa was sworn-in in Asaba amidst high expectations.

In a congratulatory message on Monday, Amafibe a renowned peace advocate and delta state born former house of assembly aspirant urged the two leaders to justify the people's confidence in them by serving with a purpose.

"I congratulate His Excellency Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his inauguration as the 16th President of our great country.

"He comes at a time his wealth of experience is needed in providing solutions to our myriads of leadership questions, as it concerns our security, economy, burgeoning unemployment rate and national unity.

"I have no doubt in mind that you will serve with purpose and defend our country against terror attacks, worsening poverty and division", the message read in part.

On Oborevwori, Amb. Amafibe urged him to build on the legacy of his predecessor and ensure that youth-friendly policies are put in place to harness the entertainment and agricultural value the state wields.

He wished both leaders a successful tenure of office.

This comes ahead of Peace Charity Football Match organised by Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide.

Scheduled to come up June 11 at the Turf Arena Sports Centre Wuse 2 Abuja, the game is geared towards promoting peace through dialogue and entertainment.

The founder Motivating African Youth Initiative, Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri has hosted and moderated a panel discussion at the just concluded International Women Power Conference Africa 2022.

The panel had as members, former member House of Representatives from Abia State, Nnenna Ukeje, the Founder When in Need Foundation { WIN FOUNDATION} Chief Chetachi Nwoga- Ecton, Amb. DR. Utchay Odims, Amb Dr. Becky Ogonnaya (JP), Vice President of the Management Dev. Institute Students Union Of The Gambia, AMb. Fanta Ceesay and, Obiageli Comfort Ezigbo Ubah PhD.

The discussion centered on inclusion of women and youths as well as efforts to enhance the welfare of women in Nigeria.

Ogenna a Pan African Patriotic Youth and Leading Woman advocate was also honoured in the category of 20 Young female voices in Africa.

The young giant in youth advocacy whose height is yet to be determined also made the nomination list for Igbere TV Leadership Excellence award along with Dr. Ahmad Isah, Aisha Yesufu and Harrison Gwamnishu.

Also recognized at the conference are the First Lady of Oyo State, Tamunominini Makinde, her Akwa Ibom counterpart, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, the First Lady of Kebbi State, Dr. Zainab Bagudu, and wife of Sokoto state Governor, Maryam Mairo Aminu who all bagged Governor’s Wife Impact and Compassionate Award.

The 2022 International Women Power Conference Africa had as the theme, "Revisiting Global Agenda For Gender Equality 1995".

Other dignitaries who graced the event include, HRM (Dr) Eze Martin C. Amaku Ikeduru, Chief Elisha Buba Yero ( Wakilin Kpop Ham ) Designated Ambassador of Kpop Ham. Ham Land, Ambassador Kate Igbokwe.

The conference was organised by the President & Founder Nigeria Goodwill Ambassodor Awards, African CEO Merit Award and African Leading Women Conference & Awards, Amb. Chris Odey.

He presented 50 widows with 2 Bags of rice with 50k naira cash during the conference session as his own little way of supporting them this hard time

The conference had two sessions, morning session was for lecture and panel sessions moderated by Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri while the evening was for the Awards ceremony.

The Africa's Leading Women magazine was also launched.
