Good morning, just a little Monday motivation for we that are waiting for IELTS, ECA, ITA, PPR et all,

I applied for my WES evaluation on 18th Dec, 2017, had my transcript sent in Jan, but WES contacted me after two weeks, that the third year of my study was not included. what after N22,000? I got upset and called my contact in the school, they had to re-initiate the whole process as instructed by WES, and sent by 2nd week in Feb.

WES sent for verification 21st Feb, and i started pursuing the school contact( given to me by Newmum ) again, but the officer to do verification was sick, and i got stuck, i just decided to forget about it and pray.

Fast forward to yesterday, i decided to check my account after discussing with Newmum (God bless your good soul for all the off camera assists and advice, i think i can afford a bottle of cold stout for you whenever we meet) on some issues, and my ECA was sitting pretty!!! they didn't even chill for the verification, am like what?? this can only be God oh,please help me thank God o, i know this is no PPR but its a timely encouragement for me.

Some highlights of my application includes;
1. My POF = T-Bills(3months) + Generic Bank Ref Letter + 6months SOA + Gift of deed (100% amount from direct family). My total POF is in the T-Bills, explained this in my LOE.
2. Proof of employment = Reference letter (included NYSC experience) + Pay stubs.
3. There was a mistake in my spouse's name on our daughter's birthday cerficate, so I attached an affidavit (confirmation of name) together with the document to clarify this. Also explained this in my LOE.
4. Educational documents= Degree certificates + WES. I didn't include IELTS certificate although I registered the certificate number somewhere else in my application.
5. My spouse hasn't officially changed her name so I submitted our application with her maiden name. Our marriage certificate was enough proof I guess.
6. Passport photos = We took our final printed photos (50x70mm) from "Study 24" ahead of time. I scanned and resized it to the required specification (35x45mm) (using MS software) and used it for Post ITA submission.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head and I hope it helps.
Thanks to everyone that has ever communicated on this thread (names too numerous to list), it was very helpful!
For those still hoping for better IELTS scores, please try again and give it all you have this time.
For those still expecting the silver mail, please be very hopeful. Try to improve your CRS, while in the pool if you need to.
For those still anticipating towards receiving the golden mail, it will certainly come!

Just checked my test results, 6.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7.5 for LRWS respectively. Just messed up my whole day. took the academic test in FEB for masters pursuit, it was 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 for LSRW.

Hi, i was forwarded the tracking number, and it has shown movement this morning. However the transcript process started in mid-December during the strike, i don't know how he pulled it off but am waiting for WES to tell me the have gotten it and perhaps send mail for verification before i believe, because for all i know he can as well package tissue and newspaper in an envelope, send out and pocket the 20,000 i sent him. people are so ambitious these days.

Hi, you could simply ask your contact to give you the UPS tracking number so you'll check on UPS website to know when it reachs WES. I doubt if this was done though, my WES verification has been pending since Dec 2017 because of the NASU strike. They told me till they call off strike, nothing can be done.

It's PPR guys....I am so happy right now, after lonnnng wait period. I am a silent reader in this great platform but do come here once in a while to drop some comments.

I feel I should update my timeline :

AOR: June 30th, 2017

Medical passed : July 20th, 2017

BG NA and IP1: July 21st, 2017

IP2: August 9, 2017

Ordered GCMS sometimes late September and realised they are conducting security screening for me.

January 22, 2018 : sent an email to the prime minister and minister of immigration complaining about long waiting period.

PPR : January 23,2018

I wouldn't know whether the mail I sent was a coincidence or not, but I give all praise to Almighty Allah.

207 days post AOR!

I wish everyone else waiting for this good news a speedy PPR.

HI, i do have someone, he says he has sent the transcript to WES but until i see my profile updated with an acknowledgment of receipt, i cant say for sure, but if you want his number i can give you. Also check out Newmum's chats, she has someone too.
