I want to operate my own paypal but since your paypal reverted to unverified status, i have been left hanging...

It means withdrawal for now will have to be to other users or exchangers who can give you naira or dollar or ecurrencies here in exchange except you want to spend it online yourself when buying stuff. Withdrawal could have been good and easier through the paypal mastercard i explained how to get freely before by using it at ATM but the card requires social security number when you want to activate it online at paypal.

I am intending to ask payoneer why their account is invalid despite their repeated website and email info, which said that payoneer users can receive such US payments like paypal.

I even want to try another fresh paypal that would be verified with both payoneer account and card since i have successfully used the payoneer card on a paypal merchant payment for item as i explained in my recent thread.

There is nothing wrong with better offer from your side as nairaland is a big market. So you have not done anything wrong in that regard. The customer has the final decision to make. In fact, if I am in his shoes, i will desire to see several choices and options to choose from and that is the beauty of open market like nairaland and even in a liberalized and deregulated market economy. As i said in a new update thread i later opened, do not withdraw from the paypal balance into your attached payoneer US bank account. it will bounce back from payoneer to paypal as invalid US bank account. i guess it is normal bank transfer method paypal uses for such withdrawal request. Whereas they used ACH direct deposit method when paypal was verifying your payoneer account with 2 micro deposits, i guess. otherwise, why will the same account they deposited micro deposits into during verification suddenly becomes invalid US bank account during withdrawal request?

The one that was reverted to unverified status is the new one i opened to use nigerian free vpn access and payoneer US account in verification. That was reported as invalid US bank account, hence the unverified status after i asked paypal to withdraw into the payoneer account. I have another besides.

In fact, the one in question as unverified is still functioning and I used it in another thread here to help someone pay free few days ago. It is only limited to certain amount to transact per month.

I guess you mean to give you naira in exchange for your paypal fund. it's quite difficult to find that. It's easier to find exchanger who will sell paypal fund to you in exhange rather than to buy your paypal simply because of fraud of chargeback that people will place after collecting the naira or whatever. Try onlinenaira.com, nigeriagoldexchange and xchanger.org, which the last one will hold your fund for a period before remitting the exchange to you.

I can actually buy your paypal to give you naira within minutes provided you are trustworthy with undertaking against fraudulent chargeback.

By the way, how much paypal fund are you exchanging for naira?

Another two discoveries I just made now is (like I said before) that you can make payment on PayPal merchant payment website without having a PayPal account using your foreign-issued debit or credit card. You just choose the option of paying by credit/debit card instead of logging in to your PayPal account. I just made payment from an American singer's website for some CDs using my US-issued visa card. The question that will come to mind next is which address to use. Local or foreign? The answer will lead me to the second discovery.

I first used the foreign-issued visa card with the foreign address associated with it from the bank and it was successful. Make sure that you have enough fund in the card to cover what you are paying for, else it will be declined and you will think it was because of your card.

Secondly, I went back to buy more CD on the singer's site and while checking out by her default PayPal gateway, I chose to pay without logging into a Paypal account but by debit/credit card. I tried this time with my Payoneer card but using still a foreign address to receive the item. Believe me, it was successful and that sounds like the answer to the question many have asked in many threads here about Payoneer card in verifying Paypal. They often ask if they should use the Nigerian address from which they got the card in post along with the Payoneer card when verifying PayPal. I would not know if it will go successfully (since there is no Nigeria on the PayPal country list by the way) BUT what I know and I have just tried now is that I used the Payoneer card along with foreign address to purchase via PayPal, and it went through successfully. I got the orders' confirmations from the seller too.

I would have attempted to try Nigerian card with the foreign address too but I know it wouldn't go through as I have tried that in futility in the past.

I have followed some threads and contributed here about using your Payoneer US Bank account details (as stated on their site anyway) to verify your PayPal account. It honestly worked and showed verified status for me when I opened it in April. I never checked my email until now that I just logged into Paypal this evening and also checked my email to see the Payoneer limitation that you may need to be aware of.

The Payoneer card successfully verified the PayPal account and apart from PayPal status changing to verified, I used it same time to transfer funds between my former verified Paypal account to confirm its functionality. I transferred to and fro and it worked. Then I proceeded to use the Paypal withdrawal menu into my Bank account. Successfully submitted, PayPal sent me email to confirm that the bank transfer process will usually be completed in 2-4 business days to my linked Payoneer's US bank account.

I never bother to check again until now that I logged in today to see the PayPal account status changed again to unverified. Then I checked the email to find the reason was the Payoneer's US bank account as you can see in the attached email below. PayPal could not successfully deposit the money into the account, as the bank returned it as invalid bank account.

Lesson to learn: Use your Payoneer account details to verify your PayPal successfully but never bother to use it as a means of withdrawal from PayPal as it will not be successfully be deposited into. Whereas, PayPal will have no choice but to remove the banking details from your PayPal account, thereby rendering it "unverified" with limits to how much you can send or receive per month.

Huslertee: Please how do I convert to dollars, the amount charged on my card when verifying my payza account? Payza requires that I input this amount in dollars yet it is reflecting in naira on my account. I am yet to verify my payza account because I have already attempted wrong conversions twice and I don't want to have my card blocked.

Have you checked your statement or transaction history? I think they do put the dollar value in bracket. Not sure again but I used the card to verify my Payza. If you have activated your VbV, then you will be able to do that faster because when you are redirected to your bank for VbV during payment, the amount usually shows on that page where you are entering your VbV code. I saw it when I was verifying Payza with my Uion Bank visa card. So I did not bother to wait till they deposit/withdraw the money in my card nor for bank statement. I just immediately logged back into Payza to confirm what I saw in Payza. That made my Payza verification instant in a way.

I guess you are using BB. If it is your opera mini that is showing lagos IP, then try the main browser that came with your BB.

I think it is better to have static IP address rather than dynamic IP that changes from time to time. If you have VPN service that is constant, it will be better. The browser I was unable to upload before has option to choose the country and city but opera mini can change daily but usually back to what it was before. I wouldn't know how often Blackberry changes.

Nonetheless, I have accessed Paypal from both workplace (constant static IP) and also from home on my opera mini browser tablet, without issue till now. May be it is because it is still foreign IP that helps BUT static IP is advisable if you can. Thank you

Most kinds of BB, I think, have foreign IPs. I have checked several ones and only one showed Nigerian IP so far. You can use foreign address for Paypal signup since Nigerian address is not allowed in the first place. I used American address for mine.

Moreover, I don't even use BB. My work IP is foreign while at home, my tablet's and phone's opera mini browser's IPs are foreign and I used them also.
