EducationRe: 12-Year-Old Girl Takes $20,000 To School In The US by arbitrage: 11:31pm On Mar 14, 2013
Artistree: If u grew up in d early 80's, u'd know wat I mean.
i feel you my brother. things have gone so bad and so fast that current generation never knew how better it used to be socio-economically.

my schooling was just up to late 90s and yet our school fees known as tuition fee and sport fee were respectively N50 and N10 (total N60) in a Nigerian federal university. it grew worse (we had thought) in my final year when each of those fees became times 10 totaling N600.

i was never given to spend a Nigerian currency that was in paper note as my daily food money during secondary school days. find out for yourself what Nigerian currency was in the paper note form in the 80s. yet those coins given to us were enough pocket money then till you returned home to eat after school hours. Naira was not in this state of comatose then.

it would then truly be like a thief for a sixth grade pupil (primary six or junior secondary class one equivalent, I think) to have N20 on him or her not to talk of $20k (though currency value and worth also matter). things change fast and sometimes for good and sometimes for worse. change is inevitable anyway.
Car TalkRe: Getting A Driver's Licence In Nigeria by arbitrage: 1:49pm On Mar 14, 2013
those online filling of forms and payments are just the preliminary. when you get there they will tell you to obtain another hard copy form to be filled. then you will be moving between vio office and bureau of internal revenue office for different stamping, signing, eyes and written tests with test payment also.

after final vio/bir signature/stamping, you will now proceed to frsc office to face biometric data capturing machine. that is where we have been stuck since January. the frsc man even said i could come for the machine capture any date earlier than the Feb 19 that vio office gave me on my stamped forms but their network has been generally down everywhere and not the individual centre machine.

they gave me their numbers to be calling to know when it will probably resurrect. i was asked to try calling back next week again. you can only get temporary licence after data capture to use for 60 days. meanwhile they asked me to photocopy my stamped form page to drive with. so i am using that with my expired licence for now. the expired licence was done a single day proceed(through one of their officers) as i faced machine data capture then at frsc ojodu but the plastic id material finished before my turn and went back next working day to collect it. they have gone worse and sickly now.

if machines that capture biometric data is not bad at the same time but just the network on which it runs, this government needs to tell us how that has become a rocket science that needs to be rectified from space under 2020 timeline. or the ministers of transport and national planning or internal duties need to tell Gej to appoint another special assistant with senior adviser on driving matters before they can make it work? or abuja needs another committee to supply machine? the country is sick and needs spiritual healing and deliverance.

Rexyl: There are links to some reliable sites that I am using to settle fund transactions.
May be your browser is denying access to the most of the Facebook , or better install Facebook application to really enjoy the service.
As the case may be you need to login to Facebook to view the contents of the page if you are asked to do so.
I could see all the facebook features on that link page within my browser. There are many adverts there on how to make money on this and that but no one of those postings mentioned e-currencies exchanges.
BusinessRe: How Can I Fund My Alertpay/payza Account? Please Help. by arbitrage: 9:57pm On Mar 03, 2013
Rexyl: You can fund it through a fund processor either by your prepaid master or visa card or from another e currency account. Check it out here www.Facebook.com/pages/tr-sambiz/120458204765094
There is nothing on that facebook link that shows buying or selling of ecurrencies.

Go back and reuse your card. It supposed to work to fund your account. What error precisely was it giving you when you said it did not work? I used my card to fund instantly and that is why I can sell you payza anytime instantly as long as we agree on rate.

What type of drum? Big metal drum, blue plastic drum or a barrel of oil? Their sizes are written on each of them. A barrel will take about 159 litres while the other drum types are usually about 200 litres capacity.

kaposky: I need over $300 into my payza.
Where else can I get as much as that?
Thanks
Activation of your Payza does not cost you a dime because the $1+ they automatically remove from your card while activating it is deposited and shown immediately in your balance when the instant activation is completed.

For buying payza of $300, I can do that for you any day any time to the amount you want INSTANTLY. All it takes is agreeing on rate of exchange to naira or dollar.

BusinessRe: How Is Money On A Credit Card Being Cashed? by arbitrage: 10:44am On Feb 23, 2013
By going to ATM, slotting in the credit card and entering your pin to withdraw your desired amount up to the credit limit your issuer (bank) gave you and also subject to the issuer's daily withdrawal limit. Everything about it is just like your debit or prepaid cards except that the money you are spending from the card is not yours but your issuer's (bank's) fund, which you must be paying back every month before certain date, failure of which you will be paying back with accrued interest.

surveyProf: The funniest thing is that she has a project ongoing in "Lekki Garden" after Abraham Adesanya Estate in Lekki Lagos State, close to the newly HFP complex., I sent somebody der today!

N:B~ Anyone that is familar with the Lekki zone should watch @ those videos she shot, It look confusing to me, either Agungi, close Alpha beach estate, close to Seabuff plaza, anyway Jankande Lekki beach as a land-mark, if you are familar with Lekki estates, watch the video over and over, and lets know, I hv done dat like eight times, I still can not get it....
I do not think the lekki gardens estate project i know is for the lady in question. The phase one of the project was commendable such that not less than ten of my colleagues registered their interest in the nearer phase 2 last month. The volume of work i saw when i visited lekki gardens phase 2 IN JANUARY cannot be for someone who found it difficult to pay back 900k since mid last year. May be hers is another project location but with semblance of names as the youtube video i saw at the beginning of this thread showed a farther and thicker bush location than the current lekki gardens 1 & 2 that i know.

I read her last mail and could still not see the reason why the business turned sour before the poster started to change mind on items or cash refund. Also wunmi did not state why the 500k she got paid in abuja along the line was not transferred to aigbe as she suggested doing then. That was july august 2012 mail i could recollect. May be her challenge is more than just the threat broadcast of the poster on nairaland. Abeg, let me go and rest from this chilling winter snow till tomorrow hoping good news will come up soon for the hanging 900k.

aieromon: Fhemmmy told me to be patient and wait till the end of July. Wunmi Allen went further and forwarded a mail she had sent to Fhemmmy insulting him and telling him to mind his business. For the second time, she mentioned Inspired M. I waited till the end of July and resumed my mails by the beginning of August. She finally replied on the 10th of August.

This was the last mail she sent to me in 2012.
So did she pay the N500k she mentioned to you here and what of the remainder since that August date in Abuja? She sounded like the business went bad that made it difficult for her to pay you back as promised. But her low side is not communicating again since then nor paying back the remainder (or is it all?).

CrimeA Car Thief Called Police On Himself After Stealing What Was More Than Him by arbitrage(op): 12:23am On Feb 09, 2013
A carjacker had a change of heart after realizing the vehicle he'd stolen had a baby girl in the backseat.
According to the New York Post, the girl's father, Patrick Julbe, got out of the parked but still running car to shop for a cell phone. His girlfriend, Jennifer Rodriguez, and their 8-month-old daughter, Ayanna, stayed in the car. Julbe tried to show Rodriguez a phone case through the store's window, but Rodriguez couldn't see it. She got out and walked closer. That's when the thief struck.
Julbe gave chase by foot, but it was too late.
Around 40 minutes later, an unidentified, Spanish-speaking man called the New York City Police Department from a pay phone. Police believe he was the car thief. "There’s a baby in the backseat of the car," the man said. He reported the location of the car and baby, and then hightailed it (presumably by foot) to destinations unknown.
Julbe told the Post, "I guess he drove off and the baby started crying, and he turned around and said, 'Oh, my God. What have I done?'"
The suspect has been described by police as a heavyset man in a striped shirt and baseball cap. Young Ayanna is doing fine, according to the Post.
