2sexy: Bro,I did that several times and all they were sending me was ATM pin and not for the web; at a point I gave up. May I send you my details so that you may help me out at the bank you did yours? I have 2 of the cards.

I was initially communicating by email with the UBA Customer Interaction Centre (cic@ubagroup.com) and every response and cascading and escalation of the mail came from different members of staff, which I kept copying all recipients in all my responses till I have other ones (apart from individual staff) like csd@ubagroup.com, cardhelpline@ubagroup.com and ServiceManager@ubagroup.com amongst others. They even called me from their land line to say I should visit a nearest branch for reset. I argued on that directive after they have asked all my card details in the emails as if they could work it out on the customer service end. They said it is not what they could from their end but would be necessarily done at a branch, even though the request form (o letter as in my case) will still be forwarded to the head office dept that will do it. They made me understand that the nearest branch is like a collection and verification of your card details to be forwarded to them.

Eventually I went to one close to me on Friday and I must confess that I had to start explaining to the staff there what I needed as he thought it was just ATM pin I was asking for. I gave him the number from which corporate CIC called me earlier (016319822), cos they said they can call them for any explanation if the branch is not sure. So, he called them and later gave me blank paper to write a letter explaining my request, which I did immediately. He promised to send it to them (head office section in charge).

By Friday night/Saturday (not sure again), sms came with my new passcode, which I entered to log in and changed to my desired password. After re-login with the changed, I viewed my profile and tried card transfer menu, wherein I was asked question like my birth date for confirmation. I entered my brith date as displayed in my profile there, yet it was repeatedly rejected. Counting down to about 4 times wrong trial stating that it remains 1 more trial before locking out. Then I stopped and logged out. Few minutes later, I tried logging in and the next response was that I should contact issuing bank.

Luckily by then, their email to confirm receipt of new passcode was waiting in my inbox. And so, I quickly replied again that the newly sent passcode, which I just changed successfully had been locked. By this morning, I got another passcode from them by sms, which I have used and changed successfully. Let's hope it will not misbehave again. You can just follow suit.

If the forex trade is giving you the needed profit returns, why not focus on it. But it's also wise to diversify and have many streams of income. If I may ask, the average breaking even you said you have is like how much on average per trading day you make?

All you need to receive from abroad to your GTB (to give your sender) are your account name, account number, address of your GTbank (usually head office address but it doesn't matter if it's your branch address), and more importantly GTB swift code (analogous to a US bank's routing number), which is GTBIBNLA. Demaejy: Does that means after changing the username and passcode, one needs to update the profile? B'cause i received email 4rm UBA telling me i shld go 2 bank so they can reset my new login details 4 me if i haven't done so. Am confused!

You don't change username, you can only change passcode (password). Your username is actually your 16 digit visa card number. The system is not well programmed such that if it locks you out of invalid login attempts, you will need to go to the bank for reset. In fact, calling their customer service does not help as they will tell you to go to nearest branch and fill a form for reset of passcode. I did this past weekend and had to write a letter at the nearest branch (no form available) for the reset. They sent me the passcode by sms, which I used to log on again to myubaafricard.com to check my card transactions when I was verifying my AlertPay (Payza) account.

I discovered that Aliexpress/Alibabba has escrow that will not release your money to the seller until you log on to confirm that you have received the item in good and satisfactory condition. But eBay is more reputable in quality and reliability of items and sellers. Moreso you can still lay complain for payment reversal on eBay since you are paying by Paypal.

I wouldn't know if your comment above is about this title UBA Visa Africard or something else. If it is so, then you have no other choice of filling the form other than using Nigerian billing address. So if you use Nigerian billing address, that has nothing to do with US format or whether it would be declined or accepted. Declining or accepting, I think, is dependent on the merchant online banker accepting cards based on country of issue or based on billing address registered with your card whenever you are purchasing online from the merchant website.

The myus registration fee you are choosing only means that your packages coming in will be forwarded (shipped) to you at a cheaper rate per kg compared to other category of registration with them. It does not mean you will be receiving your items free. Go to myus dot com website and read the details of their various categories of services and fees. Alternatively, you may use myamericanshipper dot com without paying registration fee if you are okay with their shipping rates as displayed on their website. Good luck!

It was so before but if you read this thread from beginning, you will see that that is no more compulsory or necessary as you can obtain your card from Payoneer through the link earlier posted in this thread.

I opened with banc de binary and anyoption before bendazum opened this thread. I opened BOM Immediately I saw this thread but the money in my BOM went same day after following bendazum lost alerts. Are you saying you can run a current account with them without having a current account with them? So I think the previous guy's comment is correct that you are required to have a current account with them to receive Western Union/MoneyGram.

It's really funny for a country that does not even sends but only receives WU/MG. The banks (I think through CBN directives) increased the requirements of WU/MG not too long ago to include having account with the bank that you want to receive WU/MG from. It was not a requirement before. I would not know if current or savings account is what they were demanding then. I guess it all stemmed from curbing money laundering, drug trafficking and terrorism sponsorship policies that made all financial transactions to be monitored. They may have extended Know Your Customer (KYC) policy to the money orders too as a way to monitor who sends and receives funds worldwide. If that be the case, they should allow Nigerians to be able to send and not just receive WU/MG only henceforth, since they are demanding all our identifications.

this thread reminds me of my first google check of about 135 dollars in 2006/7. Though Intercontinental bank was fine then but could not clear foreign check for me. So it was a south african bank that did in a single day. The second check was about 115 dollars and google had sent the check b4 they banned my account and canceled the check. Apart from being able to withdraw from atm without card, which may be gtb atm i guess, nothing specially differentiate the gtb mobile money from the existing gtmobile. Moreover, u will need to buy a special sim card from etisalat to use gtb mobile money as it only works on etisalat network for now. It wont work with existing etisalat sim, a minus for that matter.

Ordinarily, payoneer does not deliver to PO Box as at when I first got my card through one of their partners but this direct one from payoneer is allowed to be requested with PO Box. So it is not compulsory to have po box as long as you are sure Nipost delivers letters in your area.

Just want to give you this quickly as I remember it again today. I know some of us like some video clips or any thing you have watched on Youtube before or your connection could not stream it and you prefer to download and keep it for later use. Here is how to download the Youtube videos without needing to buy or install any software program like downloader:

When you have searched Youtube for a particular video and you can see it or it's even playing, just look at the address bar on your web browser to see the video link. It is usually a long url link with http://www.youtube.com/so many mixtures of figures and digits. No matter how long that url link of the video is on the browser, just changed only the portion of the url that is "youtube" and replace it with "voobys" not adding/removing anything else. Then click enter.

The page that will open will show you a download button and when you click, it will give you several options of formats (mp4, mpeg, flv, etc) that you can download and save to. It's all yours to have freely.

Note:Your system must have java program support installed for it to easily run the download button, which you can download freely from java.com anyway.
