Typical Yoruba Muslim AKA Fulani defender. Every of your leaders thinks that Buhari is an unapologetic sectional leader, yet you think he is fair to all. Buhari himself, who you are defending as fair, said in an international media to the hearing of all that he would treat 97% better than 5%. It is visible to all that he is carrying out his mission statement but not to an Afonja slave just because of an illusionary 2023. Shame on you.
You can see how you attract attacks and hate against the Igbos with statements like this,

We will get the recognition from EU, UN and many countries many as we can before declaring for secession, remember calling for secession is no big deal it can happen today, if Nnamdi KANU succeed in giving biafra recognition, ojukwu lost that war cause biafra lacked the recognition to gain support from other countries to fully support us with weapons and food, aircraft, hunger and lack of weapons was the main reason Nigeria defeated biafra, and please remove RIVER and CROSS River from that list they are part of biafra
Hope you are joking or are you trying to do attaché by force to them, did they tell you they want to be Biafra, are you scared of going alone?

Lolzzz...your very funny have you asked yourself how South Sudan became a country...I can see your very far from international politics... besides what's the primary role of UN...why was UN created and why is Nigeria a signatary to it's laws...yes I know Nigeria's sovereignty supercedes all other but that doesn't give them the right to oppress people and fail to recognize there responsibilities..ask gadafi even as powerful as he is the international community still came in and do the needful so I guess you go read well and get informed before spewing trash here
Then start the guerrilla war like in Sudan that lasted for decades before the UN stepped in after years of destruction and death, remember that you won't be in Calabar, PH, Jos, Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Ibadan, Akure, Benin, Warri while the war is going on, you'd Be in Igboland slugging it out

We are not going to operate a centralized federalism government which Nigeria is is operating so the leader position for president or prime minister whatever the case might be, will be less attractive, mayors ,or governors of every province will be more powerful than president or prime minister, cause he will have no power to control any resources from any province, he biafran president of prime minister will only handle foreign affairs that concerns biafra, or things that has to do with biafran security, the army etc that position will be for those who genuinely wants to give services to biafra, it won't be a powerful position
Good points but you don't put the cart before the horse, these are things you are supposed to have before having Biafra you champion.
The British left us with a system of government that we unfortunately couldn't manage well, there would be serious chaos if you get Biafra with no system of government in place already

We are civilized people we don't take laws into our hands we want the relevant bodies to organize a referendum for us...stop asking childish questions here
You ain't ready for your Biafra then and read my lips, Nigeria isn't giving you a referendum because IPOB requested for it. If you want a referendum and secession clause in the constitution, there are legal and diplomatic ways of going about it.
The combined power of the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Senate President, Chief Justice of Nigeria can't give you Biafra or any referendum because they lack the power to exercise it, not even the US, EU or the UK that brought us together can give you.

Why not ask Nnamdi Kanu, a British citizen to visit the the Scottish parliament in Edinburgh and ask how they made referendum possible in the British constitution.
Why can't he ask Québec in Canada, Cantons in Switzerland, the Walloons and Flemish in Belgium, Catalonia in Spain etc how they went about having a referendum in their different national constitutions.

gosh...are you this daft? i repeat no one cares if he took you to hell. we just wanted to be left alone. and who was killing you? and which war did we bring to your land? if you are talking about the movement of Biafran troops to Lagos then you are a slowpoke. where exactly was the seat of power? was it not Lagos? were you expecting them to go to Kano? if you didn't want crises or blood shed as you want us to believe then you would have told the F.G to relocate the seat of power to any northern state and remain neutral. you just like to put your mouth where it does not consign you. undecided
You've been told by the north to leave in peace, conduct your referendum and declare Biafra so what are you crying for again?

yes the Igbos have a way of bragging which goes a bit to the extreme, but you and your people considered that when you fought for 3 years to bring them back. So who are you supposed to blame? If you are serious of leaving, the doors are still open and the north had promised no blood letting this time.
Just move, conduct your referendum and declare Biafra

I believe the python is respected like this in Imo, Anambra, Rivers and Abia. I think they can kill it in Enugu and Ebonyi and I don't know about Delta and Edo
I think so, I went for one Christmas like that some years ago with a friend and we went to a bar in town at Ebe in Udi LGA, Enugu state, could you believe that someone brought one huge python that had been killed for the owner of the bar to buy?
I couldn't even stand the sight, whoever tries that in Nibo, Awka South LGA go hear am
Culture › Re: Part Of Igbo Land Where You Mustn’t Kill A Python by Area4Area: 9:07pm On Sep 15, 2019
Agulu, some parts of Dunukofia, Idemili and very many parts if Anambra don't allow the killing of pythons.
I remembered asking one old man why they are not killed, his answer... " did it attack me, did it swallow any animal I'm rearing, why should I be wicked to them, why didn't I use o stick or something to shove it off?" Questions were so much that I had to apologize (ordinary question o).
Most Anambra communities don't kill pythons

But has Nigeria arrived to that level of self sufficiency?
You must not arrive to a level of self sufficiency before acting to protecting yourself, most developed countries in the world today applied it at one time or the other to protect their farmers, keep jobs and protect their economies.
Japan for example still places high tariffs on rice imports till date and the price is one of the most expensive in the world, this was even after the US tried to squeeze it into accepting uncontrolled imports from the US.
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by Area4Area:

i never wanted to comment on this topic, but you pen down something worth replying. you show knowledge of the subject but a flaw understanding.

benefiting of protectionist theory is only temporal, if those nation decide to fight back, it will not be of interest to Nigeria. or you are not aware this countries too can fight back? Nigeria export to those countries too.

The benefit simply ends once benin and Niger republic begin to retaliate by erecting their own protectionis, in the long term, trade protectionism weakens the industry. Without competition, companies within the industry have no need to innovate. in the long run, nigeria domestic product will decline in quality. It will be lower quality and still be expensive than what foreign competitors will have produce.
If the rice was cultivated and produced in Benin and Niger, that would be a different issue but a situation where they import the rice just for it to be smuggled and dumped into Nigeria is a no no.
They make their money from tariffs and duties and we end up with nothing
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by Area4Area: 6:15pm On Sep 15, 2019
360command:
you know the answer already.. even though Nigeria consumes more rice than Benin rep, but where those rice comes from is Benin due to Nigeria banning rice imports on rice.. so this is why Benin is the 6th largest importer of rice..

There is a similar scenario which happened in 2010.. Cote d'ivoire is the world largest importerexporter of cocoa but when their war or civil violence came up in 2010, Ghana became the largest producerexporter of cocoa. It is not that Ghana planted or harvested or produced more cocoa but ivorians smuggled their cocoa out into Ghana just to importexport it..
Nigeria never banned the importation of rice through our ports, the FG only stopped banks from giving importers of rice cheap dollars and increased the tariffs and duties paid at our ports, this was to encourage local production and employment and discourage imports.

That example of Ghana and the ivory coast doesn't hold here, look for another analogy
