My friend I wasn't born yesterday, I know the story,
I brought up that story cause u afonjas claim UN has no power whatsoever on a sovereign nation like Nigeria, but they collected bakassi from Nigeria go read the full story, I know how the whole of Nigeria where insulting Obasanjo and calling him a fool and coward for giving up on bakassi, constitutionally bakassi is still part of Nigeria they haven't removed bakassi from Nigeria,
You are still on this, did you know Bakassi would've been part of Nigeria today if Nigeria didn't accept to the court invitation and there's nothing the ICJ or any country can do about it and that was why OBJ was insulted for agreeing to going to court when Cameroon had a tighter defense with proofs and that he would've simply ignored and nothing would happen, which of course is true.

Since you claim you knew about the case, tell us how it started

I know what I posted there, u just can't comprehend, simple
You knew what you posted by telling us about Bakassi and twisting everything and comparing Biafra to it, you even said Nigeria didn't want to give Bakassi to Cameroon so the ICJ took it from Nigeria and gave it to Cameroon. Where did you read that and who taught you that?
I would've lectured you about when Cameroon started reasserting her sovereignty over Bakassi around the era of Abacha and all that happened before Cameroon had to take Nigeria to the ICJ when OBJ became president, so go and read about it

Those points I countered in your post should be your point of emphasis

Yes I know, there are criteria recognized by the International court of justice, for people seeking self determination, and Biafra have those criteria, it's written all over our history how we have been treated and killed and driven from other parts of Nigeria from time to time, continues marginalizing, the civil war, the pogrom attacks in the North, the arewa threats on igbo's killings of harmless ipob demonstrators, etc all these things are criteria's that will qualify us for self determination if our case is presented well to the international court of just, which I know Nnamdi KANU is working towards that, if we can't get it through the court, then there's another way, , befriending other countries and getting them to recognize Biafra so that when we eventually call for succession like ojukwu did in the past those countries that recognize us will be there to assist us fight the war by supplying us with weapons, fighter jets, humanitarian aid, that's the reason Nnamdi KANU was in Israel, Japan, and thats the reason he met the EU countries ojukwu didn't plan it this way ojukwu lost that war cause Biafra lacked the recognition from other countries to support it
So you knew but why were you conjuring up fake stories in your post I quoted or you think nobody knew what and how things happened? You think you can come here and twist history and won't be caught.

As for the rest you conjured again, I give up on your case

You can see why most Southerners have no regard for people like you, even the people of the SS will never vote anyone from the SE given the ticket from either the PDP or APC and which serious party would even give the SE the ticket when they know that the people of the SE would never vote their own

If this is about 'deve' most communities in the Niger Delta love to be given before any project is sited in their communities then those in Anambra should not involve themselves in such.
Anambra isn't known for such, anyway we will need to hear from the company to know what the real problem is.

By the international court of justice, the same Court of justice that forced Nigeria to give bakassi peninsula to Cameroon , when Cameroon took the case to them, Nigeria was never going to allow Cameroon take bakassi peninsula but international court of justice collected it and gave it to Cameroon even though 90% of the people living there are Nigerians
Most of you don't even understand things before commenting, the two cases are different.

Cameroon claimed Bakassi because it was part of German kamerun, the area was tilted into Nigeria after Germany was defeated in WW1 and the colony was handed over to Britain and France to administer, Cameroon had all the historic proofs and that was why it won the case.

Biafra on this other hand was never acquired or tilted into Nigeria, it was a part of Nigeria and any movement out of Nigeria would be seen as a secession even by the ICJ.

Putting the cart before the horse. Infantile thought!
They DO NOT have to leave any part of Nigeria until Biafra is created, and the government of Nigeria asks them to leave. Today many southern Sudanese live in Sudan despite their acrimonious separation.
......then what is still holding the Biafra to be declared yet?

Countries have their own local laws that are not binding on other countries, Nigeria had a Ghana-must-go episode in the early'80s and may decide on a Biafra-must-go if the need arises after you've declared Biafra, you'd be declared illegal immigrants with no papers to back you staying in Nigeria, it must not follow Sudanese law.

All this even makes the case for Biafra stronger. So the question is which referendum made you a Nigerian? Where did we meet and agree to be Nigerians? If we never agreed to be Nigerians then it means that Nigeria and its constitution is a fraud and the need for a referendum is urgent. Since Nigeria was created by external forces, the British, who lumped us all together in 1914. Time has come for all to decide if it is still what they all want, via referendum
That you weren't there in person( not born then), you had your representatives that agreed to be part of the southern protectorate and later part of Nigeria, your representatives were there when the constitution was being drafted and made law which they agreed to.
The constitution of the US today wasn't drafted by those alive today and it is still binding on them and if they don't like a part of it, they can change it , just an example

People cannot leave from Nigeria to Nigeria, they can only leave from Nigeria to Biafra. If every Igbo man decided to go back home to the East today, they would still be in Nigeria. So what would be the point of that? But if there is a Biafra waiting for them where they can manage themselves then that makes sense

You tell a man to go home but hide the keys to his house, that's nonsense
.... so what's still keeping the Biafra waiting or are we all to wait till forever? Remember Ojukwu declared his without waiting for anyone, he didn't even wait till all Biafrans returned before declaring

Referendum is a constitutional means that has been used to split up:

Eritrea from Ethiopia
South Sudan from Sudan
East Timor from Indonesia

Referendum is what IPOB wants
I know you are somebody who repeats same things as it comes into your mind even after you've been educated about it.
How many times have I lectured you about those three examples you brought up?

Eritrea and South Sudan were not recognized nations earlier and their home countries didn't have referendum nor secession in their laws, it took years of war, famine and destruction before the UN stepped in and agreed to a referendum.

East Timor was an independent country colonised by the Portuguese and was not a part of Indonesia at any time, the Dutch colonised Indonesia. A day after East Timor was granted independence from Portugal, Indonesia invaded and annexed the young nation that was already recognized by the UN and this led to a referendum.

I don't want to lecture you on this again.

Calling for succession is easy it can happen any day just like ojukwu called for it in 1967, but getting the recognition is the most important thing, and that's what nnamdi KANU is doing, ojukwu lost that war cause biafra lacked the recognition for other foreign countries to fully support them, by supplying them with weapons, fighter jets humanitarian aid etc

Somaliland has separated from Somalia for yrs but it's still struggling for recognition,
we biafrans have engaged in a civil war with Nigeria before and million lost their lives in that war,
at the peak of ipob agitation Nigeria will be forced to give us a referendum to avoid what happened in 1967 -1970, and if Nigeria refuses and another civil war breakout , all these countries nnamdi KANU has presented our case to at the EU will support us, nnamdi KANUs plan is to get as many country leaders as he can to recognize biafra for future support if war breakout

No, they can look into our case for self determination, if we are qualified under the criteria's set by the UN under the international court of Justice, Nigeria will be forced to give us a referendum to vote ourselves out of Nigeria, biafrans will vote whether to remain in Nigeria or separate from Nigeria
Why deceiving yourself with that, do you think that even the UN supports the breaking up of nations? When the UN security council members are the world superpowers and most do not have just a referendum for secession in their constitutions, US, China, France, Russia comes to mind.

The only time the UN CAN look into such a case is after years of unending war and strife, famine, killing and destruction of lifes for years and decades, then it CAN decide to look into such case, Eritrea and South Sudan comes to mind.

In Africa today, do you think it is only IPOB that is talking about secession, have you read about countries like Senegal, Cameroon, Angola, Tanzania etc with secessionist agitators and why the UN hasn't granted them or maybe you think that of IPOB Biafra is rather special.

Correct talk bro. Indeed nothing has changed today and history still bears out the fact Yorubas are law-abiding, consistently fair, tolerant and principled people. Yet our Igbo brothers prefer to save their worst venom for us as if they have not historically wronged us rather than the other way round as they go around the world claiming is the case. Furthermore generation after generation prefer to wallow in ignorance rather than educate and enlighten themselves about the truth.

They say "the truth shall set you free" but when a people, by commission or omission, prefer to remain oblivious of the truth then why won't scammers like Oha-mumu-dike Kanu and Emma Powerless come to con them while their bank balance grows with donation from jobless and cash-strapped IPOB youth over a lost cause? Correct. Igbos can be very dishonest revisionists with how they choose to fraudulently manipulate history so they appear victims of injustice from others. Lengthy read below but anyone can read the bolded parts to grab the historical gist of the matter and one of the many acts of greed and misdeed of the Igbos that will eventually go on to cause so much problem for Nigeria. Igbos have also coveted Lagos and wanted her declared "no mans land". With Yorubas resisting this through the voice of its AG Party and threatening to secede if Lagos loses her identity as a SW State.

Noteworthy that, unlike lawless Igbos, the AG asked for a secession clause to be included in the Nigerian constitution to aid their legal breakaway. They did not just go ahead to illegally declare their own Nation as Igbos did with Biafra. The Igbo NCNC rejected the attempt of the Yoruba AG Party to legally enshrine a secession clause in our constitution myopically not realising they would be victim of this act of greed in future with their own fondness of double standard exposed with how the the AG and law-abiding Yorubas accepted they could not secede legally. When Igbos who had worked to prevent others seceding then decided they wish to secede, they would not accept the lack of constitutional backing to do this, as the Yorubas did, and would then go on to declare Biafra. What was Nigeria to do then? Does this not shows Igbos as an innately lawless people who wish to accept the position of the law when it suits them and reject it when it does not rather than be committed to it always as the Yorubas are?

It is glaring acts of hypocrisy like that, and many like it, that still typifies the inane approach of Igbos today to issues. They know what must be done to gain Biafra yet Kanu and IPOB will continue disturbing Nigeria lawlessly while their legislators who can push for legal and constitutional backing for the creation of Biafra show they don't want to know and would prefer feeding fat as Nigerian legislators. Knowing this, Igbos would still put their "they won't let us go" blackmail at the doors of Yorubas without blaming their own worthless, deceptive and two-faced leaders.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War
IPOB would never teach her followers such history, it was an Igbo man that resisted the secession clause in the constitution (Zik), an Igbo man that signed the anti-secession decree into law after crushing Adaka Boroh who recently formed his Niger Delta republic(Ironsi).

Fast forward to the present, since two Igbo men refused anything secession in the constitution, why not get it added into the constitution in the right way and manner? If they ain't too sure, is it a crime to go study how other countries with referendum and secession in their constitution had it put there so that it can be evoked when needed like in Scotland, Québec, etc?

IPOB and IPOBians deceiving themselves only since 1900
