In 1994, England banned Nigeria Airways for missing their landing schedule at Gatwick Airport. Nigeria's then Head of State, Sani Abacha quickly banned British Airways from flying into Nigeria.

Due to the fact that Nigeria was a major market for them, they lifted the ban
I really don't like that man but he made so many countries around the world fear us, I remembered when he ordered the military to mobilize for a war with Cameroon, reason was that Cameroonian gendarmerie had been disturbing and arresting Nigerians and after Abacha told their government to release those Nigerians and they refused, Nigeria started mobilizing. Nobody begged Cameroon to release them and their seized goods immediately.

Better...but with all due respect... The man should tell himself the truth.

Where and when were South Africans pulled out from Vehicles and attacked in Nigeria?
It doesn't matter if he tells us, as for me I could wish it was truer than true so that when they go back, they can relate to fellow South Africans what living in fear means and being punished for nothing you know nothing about.

You need help.

Those debts are tied to a collateral and again, no government will allow them to even pack. Their assets would be frozen and then nationalized.

It won't hurt us in anyway rather it would save us from repatriating our FX to SA.

Go school you need agree.

Are you aware that Union Bank was formerly Barclay Bank but nationalized by the Military? Forte Oil formerly AP was a British oil company known as British Petroleum.

It was nationalized by the government and they sold their shares to Nigerian citizens.

If we nationalize SA companies, it would save us a lot of repatriated funds and SAs would sit up.
Your head correct and has enough oil

5% or not, Reno should stop playing politics with sensitive things and using the Igbos as baits and most of you gladly fall for it, he's Itshekiri from Delta state and is he telling us there are no Itshekiris or Deltans in SA that he cares about, if no Itshekiris, at least there are Edos and Yorubas he's related to.
Why must it always be Igbos?

The main lesson here, don't go to another man's country to show off.
Igbo people like showing off.
South Africans are jealous. White people beat sh!t out of their lives and displaced them for years.
You were chilling and flexing in your Nigerian village.
Now that the storm calmed down, you now travel to their land and start flexing? Un top all their sweat?
My friend, chill out and park well.
Do your runs QUIETLY. Carry your money and go.
Don't play loud music or dress extravagantly. Do not attract attention to yourself.
Better still, go to the White people area of South AFrica.
You are very correct because some of our nationals in SA live so loud and make their nationals angry thereby attracting hate and despise, why can't you just go there, live low, make your money and move on or better still move to another country since the hate is already ingrained in most of them?
I really don't support the attacks but I really don't have pity for our people there, you'd be surprised that even if the FG decides to send planes to airlift Nigerians, they would rather remain to get killed,
Another option make plans to going to another country, no way, next year dem no go let us rest when SAfricans start all over

Do you mind them ? Children of hate and perdition. The whole Nairaland is agog with different insults and abuse as if it is only Nigerian. They forgot it happened to Zimbabweans, and other Nationals during GEJ. Some are even insinuating that we should start to loot Shoprite too shows how shallow their thinking are. Nations does not run that way but in a diplomatic manner. I believe government would not just sit down but also working out strategies to handle the situation diplomatically.
Having said this, I sure believe some slowpoke will still come here and attack my comment. Is allowed I don't care either afterall they attacked and molested their elder stateman In foreign land.
I really get pissed off with some of these kids sometimes

you lots are too emotional and putting blames where it's nopt deserved. SA govt and Nig government don't have a diplomatic issue, shoud the minister just declare war on SA instead of calling for a meeting with the SA representatives?

And it isn't like the sa govt are not doing anything to stop the attack, the citizens are just on rampage or should they start killing their own citizens for foreigners?

I'm sure, if the fg should send in rescue plane to sa to bring nigerians in sa back home, they still wouldn't come.. So what should the govt do.

Nonsense.
You are absolutely right with the bolded, Nigerians would still not enter the plane and next year when another round of killing starts again, they start complaining.
Getting to other developed countries from SA is easier than from Nigeria, what are they waiting for, you live among people who desperately hate and want you to leave but you still remain as if you are telling them to do their worst

When you expect someone whose health status is not made public and he's presiding over a nation, this is what you get when someone with ear problem (deaf) is trying to interprete to someone who is ears are active and functioning. This is the state of Nigeria at the moment, nothing is working nationally and you expect something to work internationally.
Why can't some of you keep quiet if you have nothing to say, are you saying that the attacks on Nigerians started recently or there were no attack when GEJ was president and what did he do to permanently stop it?
You guys would just love bringing hate and politics into everything
Politics › Re: Nigerian Embassy Shuts Door On Nigerians Attacked In South Africa! by Area4Area: 10:10am On Sep 03, 2019
This xenophobic attack occurs almost every year, Africans and especially Nigerians who are the main target should leave that place, next year again we'll start hearing of another attack and Nigerians would start complaining.
I know Nigerians who had left South Africa for Australia, Canada, the UK and US among other countries, leave their country for them and let's all think of how to deal with their nationals here

That is a story for another day about who takes the glory..
Those that fought against appartheid were Factionalised as well .. That mentality about who takes glory is very very inconsequential.. It doesn't even worth discussing. The main focus should be a common goal not what happens next which people and those that are afraid of secession use to console themselves thinking that they are discouraging those that are determined to achieve their mission..

They have come with different narratives.. Like

Anambra man won't allow Enugu man to rule, as if God created Anambra and Enugu.. Ananbra and Enugu might stop to exist tomorrow but your identity as an Igbo man will go to grave with you.. When they found out that this narrative is getting stale, they switched to South Sudan..
Letter SS this SS that as if Igbo land and Igbos are limited to SE..

When that one failed, they started with Igbo Catholics won't allow Igbo Anglicans.. Lolzz.. Wetin person no go read for nairaland ? grin..

All these are just excuses they vomit all the time in order to justify "One Nigeria "
Your epistle makes no sense, Onwuzurigbo would never allow Kanu or Onwuka to lead and vice versa, remember we have enough Igbo billionaires to sponsor them and many other groups.
They all must come together and adopt a common approach before anything can be done. IPOB can't claim all when we have others talking too

Lol!! So this dude acts like Julius Malema aka Osagyefo too? Damn! These clowns changing monikers for the online troll self angry

But ehmmmm.. There still an element of truth in what he said tho. The chances of various factions, claiming that they are the one that actualized biafra, could actually rear up, 'if' biafra is actualized. Mind you, human beings are primordially emotional before rationality comes into play. So is really not something, one can sweep under the carpet.
The Liberian civil war started with the NPFL headed by Charles Taylor but before it ended, there were different factions killing themselves and this prolonged the war with more destruction and death. Same happened in the Sierra Leonean civil war.
Biafra hasn't been granted and we already have factions, pray tell what happens when they all get it.

The South African Military have the troops and equipment to level Nigeria. It is rumoured that SA is the only African Country to have nuclear weapons, please do not be foolish as to call for War with them.
It is not a rumour, they actually produced during the era of apartheid but was decommissioned immediately after.
Anyway I agree with you, Nigeria is no match for South Africa or even Egypt

And for the purpose of records, that character you quoted is Yseke. Ipob thread attracts him like how houseflies get attracted to poo..
See how pained this one is, BZM said it is not happy with IPOB's approach and you are blaming me.
Even your Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have not been able to get Biafra but na me you dey blame. Just tell them to declare Biafra instead of waiting for the Nigerian government to grant referendum dey pain una, Ojukwu declared his without waiting for Gowon

No Biafra yet and already different ideologies, by the time Biafra comes(future impossible tense), BIM, MASSOB, BZM, IPOB etc will all battle themselves to hold power.
South Sudan comes to mind, the different factions fought Sudan for a new country but when they were granted, they are still killing each till today
