You need charisma PLUS education, to lead an effective secessionist or liberation movement. Mandela was a lawyer. Gandhi was a lawyer. Jomo Kenyatta was an intellectual trained in Russia. The difference is that kanu does not seek political power. Kanu is not seeking any political position. What Kanu is leading is a pressure group that wants a referendum conducted in a part of Nigeria.

Since Kanu is not a politician or a political leader, his educational qualification is not important. What is important is the ideology he is championing.
