yommen:
You people are too tribalistic. See, I'm Yoruba. If a top placed Yoruba man is accused of such fraudulent act as Onyema has been accused, he should just go there and defend himself. The US is not Nigeria that can be biased in judicial processes. If he is guilty, he should face it. If he is not, he should be freed. I won't support wrong doing just because the guy is from my tribe. Say wetin?

You guys need to talk like educated people. Tribal bias should'nt be the basis of our arguments in cases like this. Wake up. Of course, not like these guys are the ones feeding you na. If it were to be, I would understand that ok, you benefit from him but you ain't! So why defend an accused on tribal ground.
So you didn't see the sarcasm in what he wrote

You won't see those Ghanaian boasters and noise makers here, imagine from January to September this year their cedi has tumbled by 10.4%. I'm sure that by now it would have lost more value since the border closure as the dollar they earn from Nigeria is already lost

We are playing your card n here you are crying
I've told you earlier on another thread with reasons that Yorubas are more sophisticated than Igbos in national politics, they've had the presidency and present VP position and are looking to get the presidency again in 2023, what has the Igbos gotten, I've forgotten, you are begging the north to continue

Igbos are business like, the 2023 presidency will not put food on the table of nobody except a few greedy politicians

The presidency of Nigeria will not help the common man on the streets, so why break my head over it?

Those who have, and have had the Presidency of Nigeria, have nothing to show for it, yet, every day they will be advising Igbos about what to do to get the useless office of President of Nigeria

I'm an Igbo man, I have outgrown Presidency of Nigeria! What I want is my own independent Region or Country! The Presidency of poverty capital of the world is of no use to Igbos
Go to your Biafran threads because I don't know what you're doing here, this thread is for Nigerians

Buhari will be the first to be jailed
Oh oh! You want others to make an Igbo to become president because you know Igbos don't have the clout and number, good enough most Igbos are getting to know their levels in the scheme of things

I think it's people like you that are not getting this country any better, what is anybody's business with what two consenting adults are doing behind closed doors?
I'm sure if you were to be stamped with a US, Swedish, Spanish, South African, Canadian, Australian etc visa today, you don't mind selling your father's ancestral land to move to those countries, countries that have legalized it and you can see two males or females kissing on the street and you do nothing but just two guys holding hands here and you start accusing. Is Nigeria better than those countries or we just love to be hypocritical here?

If he is eventually found guilty, he would do the time and every supporter backs out, but until then he has his benefit of doubt.

What if his people allow the mudslinging and criminality, the castigation and ridicule, relief of his position etc, only for him to be found innocent?

What good would the damaged name bring to him?
Everyone knows he's not been proven guilty yet, this thread came up because of the said Igbo body group who were already blaming others with no single evidence of who is against him.
Politics › Re: Igbo Business Interests Being Targeted In Nigeria – Southeast Group Claims by Area4Area: 9:02am On Nov 29, 2019
Esseite:
A section of the Nigerian media has already tagged him guilty and that is exactly what brought about the reprisal attacks. moreover his people may have noticed a pattern with its entrepreneurs on a National scale and supposedly see it as another of similar patterns.

The Igbo body cannot stop the court case, onyema has readily made himself available for trial.
A section of the media and which one?
If true do you think the US court and government would base their judgement on hearsays from the section you talked about?

Because the media is already trying too hard to mess up his name even before the court case kicks off, exactly what you are doing right now.. his people are only fighting back the media which they have noticed to be spearheaded by other region.

Some already aligned him alongside invictus, like you previously did.
What if the court finally finds him guilty with enough evidence, what would you do, sue the US government perhaps

At the bolded, is that not exactly what his people are doing?... has any court proven him guilty?

He is only innocent until proven otherwise.
He is still innocent and nobody has pronounced him guilty, it is the so called Igbo body that didn't want the US court to do its job and already blaming others for his plight

- The allegation involves an Igbo man,
- The group is suppose to be an Igbo group advocating for not just the region but for a Nigerian entrepreneur.
- The Airline benefits you and the country,
- The Airline is fast becoming African largest,
- Onyema is Nigerian, even assisting Nigerians (free of charge) in the xenophobia issue.
- The monies was never declared stolen,
- The alleged crime is basically on disbursement from intended purpose which Airpeace has vehemently denied while proceeding to court...

What is really your gain being against the Airline that is the country's best and its owner?
I wonder why most of you are crying over nothing, just a mere allegation, even the court that indicted him hasn't said he's guilty or innocent but you are already giving judgment.
I hope when the case starts you'd be in the court to convince the judge if he's guilty or innocent.

The spewed out utter rubbish in the real sense rather than question the inability of EFCC to look into how globacom was set up with an unsecured loan that crippled TIB , how unauthorized movement of cash by tinubu during the 2019 election in Lagos against cbn policy and the money laundering act and the vast and authorized use of Nigerias tax payers money $500m to fund the failed election of hilary Clinton in 2016 by the Buhari's government,, nothing has come out of the $43m that was discovered in ikoyi Mansion by a whistleblower, they are here beating a dead horse
If you have issues with the case, forward your enquiries to the court and the US authorities and for the other nonsense you wrote, open another thread for those and don't derail this.

Igbos IPOBians speak the truth and they don't do those nonsense of hailing their oppressors which other tribes does. If you are truthful with yourself you will know that a particular section of this country are parasites who feast on others handwork. That's why this feeding bottle system of governance will continue. Majority of the citizens excel in tribalism and mediocrity.
Tell us the total IGR of the SE and that of the NW, also how much they both contribute to the national purse.

I find it funny when lowlife talk down on southeasterners because they are in power now. All I see is just envy. It's really a pity that when one get a stipend from government he/she will start attacking others meanwhile, it might be onlying that lowlife that is enjoying government money, while the rest of the family are facing the hardship in Nigeria. Most Nigerians are very wicked set of people. The attacks on Igbos to is a deliberate effort by certain quarters
As usual the persecution complex continues, where were you when the Igbos were calling others parasites and slaves and what made the Arewa youths to issuing an ultimatum for all Igbos to leave the north in 2017?
Problem with most of you is that you never see any wrong in what fellow Igbos are doing and when others decide to reciprocate, you term it hate and attack on the Igbos.
