Ikechunna: That's the comical thing about it all. Like for real? They actually think that's possible in 21st century. I understand their Niggeria as a nation is skyrocketing backwards in a speed of light but I'm surprised their mind is as well.
What's even funny is their comment on how when Biafra leaves, nobody else does. I always shuckle whenever I read that. That would be true if Niggeria is a developing country and majority of it's people are predominately middle class, not poor and getting worse by the day. But then again, I'm not surprised. They don't even know the amount of division seeking groups in that their shithole. They honestly believe IPOB and Massob are the only ones. Just comical. I always laugh when I read that. Anyway, they clearly don't understand what a chain reaction is. They need to go back to chemistry classes if they ever took it. When one leaves, it would start a chain reaction. Anybody with half a sense or even education could see that. Get your Biafra first and leave others to decide, you can't be deciding for everyone. You want Biafra and want SS minorities to be part of it in order to have access to the sea and oil, you've been told they're not interested in Biafra or getting another country of their own but you still believe they'd join Biafra or form their country so that you can invade and annex their land. Most of you already know that Rivers state would be difficult to convince and that's why you're hoping on Akwa-Cross to join you or form their country, DOA. |

nku5: Answer my simple question...which of those links are descriptive of the mood of South-South Igbos in 2019? All the Igbo regions in the SS are surrounded by SS minorities assuming they decide to join the SE Igbos for a Biafra. Is it the Ikas, Ukwuanis, Ikwerres that you are still banking on? |
Politics › Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Area4Area: 1:29pm On Oct 29, 2019 |
mercyville: Left to me,I want Nigeria to split. As the SE is landlocked so also is the North .. When Nigeria disintegrates the North will be a landlocked country with hostile Southern neighbors. ... The North can only rely on other landlocked countries like Niger and Chad....
The SS and SW are the very lucky regions in Nigeria .
I sincerely think Igbo should stop being so hateful to the other major tribes and start mending fences.Thanks. The north is even luckier if it decide to split alone, it shares boundaries with Benin and Cameroon that have access to the sea, if Benin or Cameroon messes up it can switch to the otherunlike Biafra that'd be surrounded by Nigeria and has nowhere else to turn to. |

nku5: All these links you are copying and pasting equal to a referendum in your universe which of them even involve Igbos indigenous to the South-South?? You keep hammering on Ijaws and Ibibios when nobody has brought them up here.
Talking about what happened in the war 50 years ago in a world that has drastically changed shows me you are just as lost as the senator who thinks NYSC in Rivers State 40 years ago gives him insight to determine the future. Just telling you that Biafra would be surrounded by Nigeria and you'd need to beg Nigerian to survive, those links I gave weren't made 40 years ago |

Building an alliance with our neighbours in the central african countries won't be difficult. Their combined annual GDP is about USD250m while SE states do about USD100m. At the end of the day money will talk not the party politics people postulate online. Go read up about Lesotho and why the Brits created it, read about the free trade and movement they have with and in South Africa |

[s]do you know for many years the anoima Igbos in Delta proposed for a state called anoima state and asaba as their capital? The majority tribes in Delta for many years are not happy that the federal government made asaba igboland the capital of Delta, they want the capital of Delta to be moved to warri it's something [/s]that has been on for years Where is it located in Enugu please, address I mean. |

With the level of obsession you have with Igbo and Biafra, if you put just a tiny portion of that in your shithole, it wouldn't be the worthless piece of shit it is today. Charity begins at home. Ikechunna: The Igbos in Bioko Island started migrating to Bioko in the 17th and 18th century dum dum and were already present in that region before EQ was created or even your shithole Niggeria. They are the descendants of the Aro Confederacy. I suggest read the book, Ethnic Groups in Equatorial Guinea: Bubi, Beti-Pahuin, Fernandion, Aro people, Spanish Equatoguinean People, Benga People by LLC books instead of making a complete fool of yourself. The Igbos likewise are the third largest tribe in that nation, just their population is small in comparison to the Fang tribe whom are the largest but, their population is close to the second largest aka the Bubi
Get the Bleep out of my mention with your Ignorance. stories for the gods with just 7% of the population, so small a minority. The Fangs and Bubi make up about 90% of the total population and Igbos about 5.6% now and you're here shouting. |
Politics › Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Area4Area: 11:04am On Oct 29, 2019 |
Ikechunna: Niggeria told him. Monterrsat for example is considered part of Britian but in the mind of Niggerians such is not possible. Heck even Bioko Island of EQ has Igbo indigenous living there hence, EQ supported Biafra during the first war. With those Igbo population, albeit a minority in that nation, does give interest to build alliance with EQ especially considering those Igbos are near the sea of Bioko Island.
You are right btw. I've had several Central Africans, mostly Congo and Angolans, told me that Igbo culture is more similar to them than West Africans. Honestly believe, we should have been part of Central Africa. Not saying that West Africa isn't growing, Niggeria isn't but, can't pinpoint the other countries as backwards but you are right that Central Africa and especially East Africa are the future. Igbos of Bioko make about 7% of the total population of about 330 thousand, they migrated there in recent times and are not truly indigenous to the area. France, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Tanzania etc all have " large indigenous Igbos " and that was why they supported Biafra. Montserrat, Falkland Island, Gibraltar etc all have agreements with Britain so no contest here. |

Besides who told you that direct boundaries or seaports are pre-conditions for joining regional communities. Get your Biafra first and you'd know that trading with other blocks needs an agreement with your immediate neighbour especially when you are surrounded. It's no rocket science |

Amumaigwe: You can have the Igbo properties you lust for in exchange for our freedom. Talking about Igbos paying higher in Nigeria Universities, which of the universities as presently constituted will be worth a Biafran staying back gor a second after secession? You are outlining what we stand to loose, while we are thinking of what we stand to gain. You hate Biafrans yet bother about our loss? Is it your loss? If you are sure that it will be all woes for Biafrans, why is there this grand design to frustrate the agitation which sends out hot panic everywhere? So bother about what becomes your lot in the new Nigeria which, with the awkward core Northerners still in the union, will certainly remain a shithole forever. Get your Biafra first before making noise |

Amumaigwe: Tell those abokis. They loot oil money from SS/SE and buy properties in the West and they are allowed to live in peace. But wish Biafrans will loose their properties in Nigeria if they secede. Is it not reprehensible? Listen please and for future understanding, nobody is taking over Biafrans properties illegally, it is the Nigerian law today and it is applicable to foreigners only, when Biafrans become foreigners same law would be applied to them. Bill Gates can come to Nigeria to buy land or property to build an office or factory but he can't buy same for his personal home. You as a Nigerian could help clamour for a change of the law. Nigeria today don't allow dual citizenship but most western countries accepts it as normal, virtually all middle eastern countries rarely give their citizenship to foreigners no matter how long you've lived there. So you can see that different countries have their by laws and it's never binding on others. |

Please go and Google You do your research well bro, Angola shares boundary with the DR Congo which is a central African state. Morocco has seaports that can be used to import and export goods to and from ECOWAS countries. Biafra would be surrounded by Nigeria and without any agreement with Nigeria, you can't cross over their territory for trade. |

A Biafra would sharply join Community of Central African States with Cameroon, Angola and co or align and join East African Community with Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia etc These places are the the future. They are planning for the future and building railway lines to link their countries. While Buhari is closing borders and killing small businesses in Nigeria and West Africa So Biafra would jump over Akwa Ibom and Cross River states that had vowed to remain Nigerians to go form an alliance with central African countries? So the rail or road would fly over from Cameroon into Biafra. Some of you just post for posting sake. |

tungamaje: Oga, I asked a simple question and you say I am preempting. You should answer me because you said you are just trying to lecture Biafrans on what to expect should they leave Nigeria because other SS minorities wouldn't go with them. Is that not also preempting? I won't help you on this, several groups in the SS and even the Igala and Idoma in the NC have all issued press statements distancing themselves from Biafra and have urged IPOB from including them them in their map of Biafra, they stated it categorically that; They are not part of Biafra, They are not ready to form their country and they remain Nigerians. It's all over the internet so google it up, it was even discussed here on nairaland those days when they were issuing those press statements. I expect you forget about them for now till you get your Biafra then you can watch how events happen later, get your Biafra first should be of utmost importance instead of having headache for those that had refused you in the past and the present. |

gidgiddy: That is to show you the mentality of these Northerners who want "one Nigeria". The unity of Nigeria is not based on love, it is based on hate. These Northerners see Igbos and the rest of Southernern Nigeria as part of their empire and they dont want to entertain any break up of their empire. Why do you think Northerners are offering armed killer herdsmen Ruga but hailing Buhari for proscribing unarmed IPOB who killed nobody?
As long as Igbos stay in Nigeria, they will never get to their true potential because nothing in Nigeria ever progresses
If you see the way the face of a Northerner changes when you talk about Biafra, you would be tempted to think that Biafra includes Sokoto. Yet the same Northerner doesnt know anything about Igbo land or Igbos.
Somebody is telling Igbos that they will suffer if they leave Nigeria? The same Igbos that once left, came up with their own currency, Army, refined their own fuel and this was while they were fighting a war blockaded by air, land and sea. Igbos have been into the fire and back, nothing scares them any more
An independent Igbo land will do much better than in Nigeria that is porverty capital of the world. The same north had even told you to leave them alone and go get your referendum and Biafra and you refused so why vilifying and lying against them. |
