You ask for a link and that is it. the first agreement is removal of visa policy between diplomat , now trade discussion is the next way forward . you don't play football with your enemy. and osinbanjo been more educated than buhari is far more exposed on regional trade . from football then to rice , even cloth and footwear will follow.

just relax
The Nigerian government had told you to go hell, no official of ours is in Accra begging but but your officials are all over Abuja begging for your worst.

Majority of Nigerians are in support of the government, only Nigerian smugglers, ECOWAS countries and their citizens that are affected including their Asian friends are angry.

While Vietnam was talking about trade, Nigeria wasn't interested. Read slowly this time

Meaning that the government has made up its mind and Our VP hasn't said nothing.

Falling price for rice in India and Thailand is a good testimony, Vietnam now.
Ghana and ECOWAS is too small.

When will you take a stand against oil importation? You have oil, yet you have to take it outside Nigeria to be refined and then buy back the refined products.

When will you take a stand against weapon importation? Begging USA and Russia up and down.

When will you take a stand against importation of phones and laptops?

Everyone just talking about rice.
When are YOU building us refineries?

When are YOU building us weapon factories?

When are YOU building us the likes of iPhone, tecno, Samsung etc?

If no date yet, abeg rest.

Rice is something we can quickly do and get results and if you can get us all those factories, we'll ban their importations too.

And GUTA is not listening to his begging or pleading because Nigeria don't do anything for Ghanaians. They're closing down the businesses. Those Ghanaian politicians are greedy and want to take advantage of your huge population which they always do. If you can't use your population, Ghana will exploit you.He has already secured for your borders to be opened for only Ghanaians. Why do you think Ghana has secured the African Free Trade Agreement Headquarters in Accra. We're ready to exploit all African markets that's why we are building factories in every districts in Ghana. Currently, industry and factories makes up 25% of our economy and Nigeria is number 4 trade partner of Ghana even in West Africa. The deputy minister doesn't know how the trade really works. He just sees your huge population and thinks it will benefit Ghana buh that's not the situation on the ground. Do you know that Nigeria has banned 43 Ghanaian products from entering into Ghana including cements, electrical cables and appliances, medicines and pharmaceuticals, etc buh Nigerians imports these same products into our country through our land borders and pays no duty on them.Your citizens will suffer attacks and nobody can help them from this week going.Make sure you don't call Ghana xenophobia when it continue
Lol, you know better than your junior minister of trade, your wailing just has no part 2.

Put the population and properties in the argument and see who loses more, Nigeria has her coast and can easily trade but Biafra would have to depend on her agreement with Nigeria before trading occurs because Nigeria would surround her, .

An advice for you, since the closure, more Nigerians students, those waiting on JAMB for help and others are already buying day old chicks, week old, having carpenters building cages for them all for the yuletide season.
If you really don't have much doing now you can as well do same, imagine if by Xmas you already have 100-200 live fully grown birds.
By Easter you buy a car, some people would start shouting yahoo yahoo or ritual money.

The tears of your president and others may touch Buhari and he can order the borders opened, just an advice.

Very stupid of you .Give me any news linked to Nigeria goverment official saying that.
Closure of the border is the official statement and keeping it shut till now despite the diplomacy your ministers have been trying to play for it to be opened is the Nigerian government telling you to do your worst.

You do not expect our president to come on live TV and telling your president and his cabinet to do anything, action they say speaks louder than voice.

They don't want your borders open because we don't even benefit from your market except alomo bitters buh you people always benefit from our market thus millions of Nigerians living in Ghana and doing businesses. They beg our government to get all Nigerians out of Ghana including their businesses buh our government always try to act diplomatic and fails the people. Your people are all over the place committing crimes and prostitution and they're nuisance to our country. It's our country and we don't want anymore Nigerians over here. That's simple.Tell your people to leave our country.!!!

U think the will come in that form as we did, no they won't, they will look for where they have edge and strike.

I just hope and pray we don't regret this actions of ours...

because i see all west Africa countries coming together to look for solution against what Nigeria is doing.

And it won't go well
Don't fret for Nigeria, the rest of ECOWAS is not up to 50% of Nigeria in population or GDP. They all combined account for a negligible amount in our trade, rather you should be bothered about decline in economic activities in those countries.
This closure alone will wipe out about 20% of Benin's GDP in this last quarter of the year because smuggling goods into Nigeria accounts for 20% of its GDP, that of Ghana would be affected too because so many companies that exports to Nigeria would downsize and lay off workers, less tax and earnings by their already broke government. As per those Ghanaians ranting and wailing, let them continue, the closure is already biting their economy and that's why from their ministers to the man on street are all wishing Nigeria opens the border.

The problem is, nobody knows him, Nigeria goverment dosnt recognised him neither is he known by Ghanaian authority. he is more or less a nuisance to Nigeria and a liability to Ghana.

Ghana is not interested in petty Nigerians trader, who contribute nothing at all to the economy. Nigerians coming to Ghana should be productive enough to contribute much to the economy.

Ghana is not Eldorado yet for such living .Ghana immigration must strengthen the law now .
All we are saying is that Ghana should shut her borders against goods from Nigeria and let's go there, locking up some Nigerian owned shops and your police opening them won't affect anything, just shut your airports, seaports and land borders to Nigerians or her goods and let's see

Even if you guys decide to expel all Nigerian nationals from Ghana it changes nothing. You can be sure that Nigeria has the ability to target Ghana with painful counter measures.

Nigerians bring in a whole lot of money to the Ghanaian economy as tourists, students, businessmen etc, Ghana stands to loose more if they decide to pick a fight with Nigeria.

The Nigerians you see in Ghana can easily move elsewhere if it becomes necessary, as large numbers of Nigerians already can be found in all the countries of Africa (from South-Africa to Sao-Tome and Principe) and even Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East.
Ghana wasn't even directly targeted here, only a fallout effect and they're crying everywhere and everyday, tell me what they'd do if Nigeria decides to face Ghana.
I don't blame them though, it is Nigeria's big brother attitude that has caused all this in the first place, ordinary border closure with Benin and they're deafening everyone in Africa.

Don't tickle yourself and laugh ok.. I'm in a Accra and can tell you the damage the collapsed banks have caused to your economy which is on life support already.. go read your history ok.. if NIGERIAN border closure continues the results will be hype inflation in Ghana and election is next year.. your ruling class are behind all these..
Don't mind him, the over $1 billion Nigerian students pump into their economy yearly would be stopped when certificates obtained from there by Nigerians would be banned.

Yes,GUTA hates Nigerians and all their trades in Ghana.Left with them, all the millions of Nigerians living in Ghana will get out of the country buh our leaders and security personnels always try to stop them from causing any mass closure of businesses and aluta.GUTA represents All Ghanaian traders in Ghana. Ghana has a law that bans any foreigner from trading in Ghana except when you have 1 million dollars as capital buh these Nigerians and foreigners always points to ECOWAS for protection and since you Nigerians closed your borders, although it hardly affected any business except some few alcoholic companies that exported some of it's products to Nigeria and West Africa, they took the opportunity to warn our foreign minister in Ghana of Nigeria defying this same ECOWAS laws protecting their businesses in Ghana by closing the border and [b]told the foreign minister to close our borders too in Ghana or all the foreign Nigerian businesses in Ghana will be locked forever and nobody can shout ECOWNigeria again. That's what they've started.
That exactly is what we want, Ghana and other ECOWAS countries are leeching on Nigeria and we are always on the losing end.
