You are getting it all muddled up man. six hours is six hours, 24hrs is 24 hrs. Like i said, this is the world our brains developed into. At this same moment Jupiter has about 14hrs/day..

Try and understand that time is fixed and we only have reference points as our brains developed. our earth is our reference point. At the quantum mechanics level, everything falls apart because at the speed of light, time stops entirely. so what then is time??

well.. He's just making arguments that for the most part is irrelevant cos we already know most of what we need to know about the concept of time.

Think of it this way... If we were in a different planet, say Jupiter that takes about 12 years to orbit the sun. Our brains will develop differently and adapt to the world we live in, Hence giving us a different perspective of time and that perspective will be used to puzzle out our universe differently.
That still doesn't mean we will get our calculations wrong because scientists always adjust "our" time to the time of other worlds so they can launch probes there.

That's how we got Curiosity to land on Mars, Cassini to orbit Saturn voyager 1 to interstellar space and many more...

At the first two concerns,

1) its called Inflation, and there is a sound mathematical calculation to support this.


2) The earth has slowed down indeed thanks to our moon and gravity from Jupiter. However it is still slowing down by as much as 1.4 milli seconds every hundred years. This will continue until the earth and moon share similar cycles.

These Jets have a waiting time of at least 12 months as they are built only on orders. They don't have Jets lying about waiting to be bought like cars. NO!

So he probably ordered this over 12 months ago and is only getting delivery now. Wrong timing indeed that it was delivered when the state is in so much flood related problems.

Neither am I in support of Private Jets for govt officials. He can rope himself out of it and say it is state govt owned though, then i'll breathe easy.

Amaechi has done a lot already and is currently focusing all energy on greater phc. I believe this is the best way to go so when the bulk of ph population is pushed aside to the new location, meaningful construction of infrastructure can begin in the old place. All this to prevent a nightmare situation when residents have to deal with major construction projects resulting in miles and miles of daily traffic. Just my take on it

well.... if you read all the posts before making yours, you'll notice the growing concern of why would a governor have a private jet! Liking him to Some MOG's with magnificent Gulf stream g550's.

This aircraft is $2mil brand new, and can be half that price if bought second hand. I will assume the later for the governor. That will be 150 million Naira to buy that craft.

Do you see anything wrong with that? Some politicians have feet of cars that is more expensive than that

Nope, its a Cessna 208... Pilatus is a sleeker faster aircraft and has wings fixed at the bottom of the fuselage just like a British WW2 Spitfire

it wasn't really a "private jet" per se. Just a small single turboprop engine plane to hop in and out of places. That aircraft is very uncomfortable and noisy so hardly any fun in it. Besides, Just One of Oyedepo's Jet can buy 25 of these (no exaggeration here)

Cessna 208. The most popular among pilots with newly acquired CPL, so my initial hunch was right(he's still new at flying). Although i'm not ruling out equipment failure as the Cessna isn't the most rugged plane out there and with a single turboprop you cant sleep with both eyes closed. Chances are Pilot error or oversight caused the incident, but then again that's just my hunch. go get yours

On a more serious note though, Hitler was hoping for a Truce with Britain after he got his revenge with France (Following the WW1 Humiliation at Versailles). After which he would push east in the hope of Finishing off the Russians. No one can actually say if he would have been successful against the Soviets bar fighting a war on two fronts.

SO here is my idea of what would have happened if Britain had taken the truce: The third Reich will let Britain keep all her colonies (that's including us) just as they promised while the soviets will push for peace as soon as possible by giving away Land. Land that Hitler considered as Lebensraum (living space) will be taken by force all over the Balkans and south eastern Europe. After which Major fighting will end with only resistance movement fighting guerilla style warfare. The Economy may or may not even recover regardless of stolen land as Hitler used up the entire countries money to fund his Wermacth oppression. The war will leave him practically exhausted and he'll be dead less than a decade after the war, reich falls and everyone scrubs for as much country land as they can.

The world would have been a very different place. Cameroon and the rest of them lot around us will all be German colonies Guten tag!!!!!


Oh and I'm not sure how the Japs would have turned out cos they actually made America join that hopeless war
