brandsoncharlie:You are one of the people the book of proverbs 26: 4-5 and al-Hujuraat 49:11 warned me against...I wish you a good day Sir |
brandsoncharlie:I won't be the one to help you make a simple research to answer your question... |
The figures may not be accurate but approximately they couldn't be far from the truth.....A good friend of mine left work with one of the topmost cybersecurity companies in the world for a digital forensics role in a bank in Nigeria...Initially thought he was crazy but after I saw his contract of employment, made tax deductions and cost of living adjustments then I realized he made a good choice.. |

How are we sure this stuffs were unearthed from the ground and not just a random picture from the internet and you have successfully carried along several people who are so lazy to do basic fact-checking or reverse image searching before making comments because to them their is a need to justify their bias and pressure to put their opinion out there.... I am not in anyway odumeje's fan and neither am I his critic but I can't just stress enough the importance of putting correct information out there be it as a joke or a news item. Links to the first image online https://imgur.com/gallery/VH8XKUV https://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/vkgvmn/eyes_wide_shut/ https://www.reddit.com/r/dontputyourdickinthat/comments/vklp51/especially_if_theyre_wearing_it/ There are about 13 links to get this same image but OP do you know the harm you could have caused by posting the wrong information...You could have incited violence but since you are behind a keyboard, you are faceless and you have no consequences for your action |
I don't mind kids inflating prices for small money in their pocket, most people are guilty of this but he inflated the price way beyond what seems to be basic pocket money...There are a lot of opportunities in the digital space for young people like him to make money more than their parents can provide them but my issue is that people are too invested in that part of the digital space that takes more from them than give to them |

This is commendable not because of the spare parts being produced but the fact that this is a female-dominated spare part company makes it impressive. I love seeing women put in the grit and grinds in any walk of life. In regards to the production of the Auto parts, it is not a new thing...There are few universities and polytechnics in Nigeria with a functioning Production Engineering lab and technicians working in those labs often manufacture parts as side gigs |
It is always easy to do until you are asked to do it yourself... |
The fact that we rationalise every tiny bit of information with bias is one of the major issues every other major issue we experience be it tribalism, sectionalism, Nepotism etc are based upon Carefully studying the question, it's an exam of a mass communication department. The lecturer was in the right purview of current affairs and systematic brainstorming upon which contents be it social or mass media are developed The fact that information doesn't align with your biased mindset doesn't take credence away from it...Let's learn to take information at face value, then we will grow as a nation of intelligent people and not the present profiling we have been associated with internationally. |

I want to believe he is deeply invested in his own gigs and not a full-time boyfriend as many will presume him to be, anyways I believe every human being that can feed himself and provide little on the side for others should be proud of their efforts |
The problem of this country long oooooo, Big ups to Burna boy, he is doing an incredible job and I can't wait to see him and other African artiste at the upcoming Afronations concert but truth be told, we celebrate irresponsibility as a group of people a lot. For you to be told to check your DM; I want to believe his management has been busy but anything outside this goes to show how rudderless he and his management team are... A certain lawyer (Matt Judge) who was charged with transfer of players in a big club( Manchester United) was unreachable for a deal, the selling club had to contact an old player of the club( Evra) to ask him to read his messages, I was shocked to see how that singular act almost ruined matt judge career but here it is been celebrated as a celebrity move. I understand the deep or brotherly connection between them but truth be told " people in business have well-structured management and they won't be missing DMs here and there I don't hate Burna boy, if at all his fame gave me a foundation to build a dependable relationship with my colleagues at work but I will say many things wet we think say na normal for Naija, na im oyinbo dey take sack person ooo |

"Slow and steady wins the race, not the person who wants to climb the whole stairs in one stride.” Gradually we will get there. A welcome development despite the numerous challenges that face our dear country God bless Nigeria!! |
Journalism is one dark area of our country that people fail to give attention to....Reporting news with sensationalism is not ethical and it makes citizen to lack trust in journalists who should have been their mouthpiece and earpiece... Have got nothing to do with the election but it will be a good thing to have accurate information for intelligent debate with well enlightened folks |

emmykk:Where have you seen me support Tinubu or hold any supportive opinion about any other Politician?...... Nigerian politics is muddled with a whole lot irregularities that an average thinking Nigerian won't take any of those politicians seriously..... |
Although nobody outside GEJ camp can be certain about his intention to run but truth be said Nigerian journalists and the whole media circus are a bunch of sensationalist. Having said that, GEJ will be committing a tactical error and a political own goal if he allows the media to push him into a presidential race. Heros leave the stage when the ovation is the loudest.....Although his regime wasn't free of corruption scandals, insecurities etc but it wasn't at this grand stage we are currently experiencing and accepting that presidential defeat wrote his name in the hall of fame of noble or diligent men, he will be doing himself a disservice coming back to contest. |
babasolution:It is very unusual for me to quote people on public forums but when it comes to statements like yours that is borne out of share hatred and poor understanding of the relevance of individual tribes of our dear nation, I will love to school you.. 1. Referring to a major tribe in this country as an insignificant tribe shows your lack of appreciation of the politics of numbers..By and large, this tribe has the second largest population in the country on the basis of our geopolitical division https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/largest-ethnic-groups-in-nigeria.html 2. This tribe was the first to receive western education, in short the people from this tribe were the first notable Nigerians outside the shores of this country https://education.stateuniversity.com/pages/1100/Nigeria-HISTORY-BACKGROUND.html 3. Calling this tribe an insignificant tribe based on the presence of a previous seat of government under the colonial rule shows you are not in tune with reality....Lagos, Enugu, Kaduna were major cities prior to independence, in short Lagos had nothing going for it in terms of revenue aside from the those generated from seaport, it took the ingenuity of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build the structure for internal generated revenue that is being copied both at the federal and state levels as of today.. This begs the question why can't other states of federation develop same? https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/amp/news/103568/tinubu-meet-the-pathfinder-for-the-development-of-lagos.html 4. Politically, you can bear me witness that this insignificant group of people, have produced a whole lot of antagonist and protagonist leaders, they are a force to reckon with in terms of political alliance and structure...I bet you know you can't give what you don't have https://www.ajol.info/index.php/ijhss/article/view/105744/95753 Let me stop here for now because time is of the essence for you and I, but I am open to write you other times to explore this at length, hopefully you will be able to apply more logic than emotions on your future submissions... Best Regards |
I don't understand what people expect.....Should it have been engraved in pebbles of stone or made from a well oiled CNC machine? This is not how politics is played and neither is it an intelligent form of opposition...There is no single logical substance in the post and creating a thread for this is not only childish but stupid in the grand scheme of things The moment we start discussing important policies, political jobbers will start taking us seriously and not all this....... |

I don't understand why we are like this.....There is no solution put forward by any government that Nigerians won't complain about but the truth is if this is how intelligent we are in this country, our leaders would have been the most intelligent leaders in the world..... We are a bunch of emotion first, religion second ......but logic last group of people...The US provides two full combat ready jets to accompany air force one whenever the president needs to fly, that's a waste of resources but it's a very sensible strategy when you compare cost of life of a US president against the cost of jet fuel and for more than 30 years they have been doing this, have not heard that the jets or the air force one was ever attacked aerially First to comment or commenting on public forum or social media is not a competition, if you know nothing about a topic, keep shut and move to the next slide or topic It is always easy to do until you are asked to do it yourself!!!! |
Truth be told, if there is any sector of our economy that can be used to restore some balance to our dwindling International reputation, I guess it's the Entertainment industry We are actually doing well, Davido is getting the right international connection, Wizkid is making waves with his modified afropop and Burna boy is making hip-hop and afrobeat fusion a big thing... We have the likes of Anthony Joshua, Isreal Adesanya, Kamoru etc all doing exploits in their own way, I guess the Government personally need to invest their own money into this sector I don't claim to know what it takes to return Nigeria to her past glory, but I can see the potentials in these guys |

One thing shocking about Nigerians is how well educated we are but less intelligent as a group of people...We are always fast to express our folly without actual deep thinking.... Roman Abramovich is one of the members of the Russian oligarchy that brought Putin to power, he was Yeltsin( former russian President before Putin) right hand man and he made his billions as a proxy for Yeltsin's oil corporations, this is well known and well documented, we only need a bit of research Yeltsin and his caucus ( which include Roman Abramovich) installed Putin as his successor being their go to intelligence man within the KGB and as a repay for his loyalty to many off-record assassination he( Putin) carried out for them; his area of specialization is using Rare Nerve agent( story for another day) Roman benefited from all these attrocities either directly or by proxy, and his relationship with Yeltsin, Putin and the other 5 oligarchs were well known by the western world. My only concern was how the western world ( USA, UK and Europe) allowed russian funds into their financial services and the reliance of direct supply of energy because they know these people can't be trusted example is Why UK consistently deny Roman his UK citizenship but allowed him to own a football club or Germany receiving directly supply of Gas to their country and deny Gazprom opportunity to be a share holder in their gas sector They know who they are and their connection with Putin, so the best way to get a message to him is to disrupt their source of income which will create pressure on Putin...Their tactics is straight from one of the 48laws of power; Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter I don't claim to know it all, but a bit of research here and there brings a wealth of knowledge overtime..."pick up a book to read today" |
