Romance / Re: I'm Fed Up. My Boyfriend Thinks I'm A Prostitute. by Arelyn: 6:40pm On Jan 22, 2022 |
My sister, most people here on nairaland will only give you a parlour advice because no one knows better than their experiences in life and we are sum total of our individual circumstances therefore I don't blame people for their ignorance... From what I know, It's obvious that act is your boyfriend's "pleasure instinct" which is also called "Fetish".....Human beings are animals( I don't mean that in a insulting way), and we respond to our stimulus irrespective of our situation and that's where taming or let's call it training comes into play In a nutshell, what I am saying is that, sexual activity in those kind of places or situations appeals more to your boyfriend and that's what satisfies his "pleasure instinct"...This may not be common with all guys but if you ask people around, we all have one thing or the other that satisfies this instinct in us I once met a lady that will prefer to have sex on the floor rather than bed and one of my guys will rather have sex only when the lady's pant is on- we nicknamed him "pant-shiftter"...So, your boyfriend is only satisfying his pleasure instinct and he is not taking you for granted You can read more about it from "pleasure instinct by Gene Wallenstein" and I hope in future you seek informed and knowledgeable counsel...Eat that frog!!!! 2 Likes |

Things like this will continue to happen for as long as we choose to socially empower military and para-military forces...We have a way of oppressing one another especially when we are connected to some para-military or military officials and we will still be the one to come online and cry foul when we fall at the receiving end of this attitude...I will "show" you, that's where it starts from Also, 95% of our social media content is largely based on the military being some sort of demi-god you don't get into trouble with anyone close to them, be it their wife, kids, uncle, etc...we need a social reverse engineering to bring the power back to the civilian Don't oppress one another with this officials irrespective of your connection but I know these won't happen because we are all a bunch of oppressive individuals who will try to be get one above the next person, no wonder our leaders are oppressive too 1 Like |

There is a grand master plan going on in Nigeria ans only people that can think outside the box can see this. The plan is to unleash terror in different parts of the country, to create a very unstable state for election to be conducted come 2023....Someone don't want to leave power and it will have to take him declaring a state of emergency to keep him in power If you pick up arms against their foot soldiers and burn your region up while doing so, you are only playing according to the script but if you avoid setting your region on fire while fighting their foot soldiers, you are probably going to avoid being a part of the game 1 Like |

Family / Re: Marginalisation: Women Playing The Victim Cards by Arelyn: 4:29pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
O.P, you are fast about this as I was planning to write something about this Ini Edo comment during the course of the weekend.... The truth is this ideology is one of the major problem that is destroying our society. Women playing this victim card has encouraged the formulation of loads of societal policies to protect them like an endangered specie while men has to pick the crumbs off the table Success is not handed out to men on a platter of gold, in short men do engage in unhealthy competition amongst themselves to get to the top but naturally concede excellence or success to a woman that can show enough grit and determination I work in IT field and can tell you men are not doing better than woman that believe their success lies upstairs in their brains and not in between their legs. It is more natural for a determined lady to get to the pinnacle of her career compared to a man that has to fight both tooth and nail to get recognition for his effort among the sea of men in similar space After careful study and a bit of anecdotal experience, I realized that the statement tries to provide comfort or solace for ladies with lazy mentality and mediocrity ideology. They blame failure on their environment or society without recognition of their gross incompetence in the management of opportunities around them In present day times compared to many years back in Nigeria, it's is much easier to solicit for sex with money or affluence because we are blessed with a large chuck of women that don't want to try but use every form of packaging to present prostitution in a acceptable and less damaging manner which is quite obvious in her- Ini Edo's, sector of the economy Anytime you hear people say that around, tell them to make research on the percentage of women enrolling in traditionally male dominated courses and see how well they are doing, the number of female financial institutions CEO in Nigeria and the world at large speaks volume of my submission 43 Likes 4 Shares |

This goes to show the extent of criminality in humanity which is a common issue across all races...Don't let anyone tell you the "whites" do things better, they are equally as wicked as our leaders just that, there is a respected system of punishment when you derail from law in their part of the world If you love trump but hate Buhari, I guess you need to be checked for bipolar disorder because I have not seen any difference between these two bunch of clown 132 Likes 11 Shares |

This is Federal Government way of stifling the protest 1. Initiate thugs to attack the protesters 2. Protesters retaliate or retreat..if they retreat they have won, but if they retaliate, a deadly conflict will start 3. Government gives the military the go ahead to curb the conflict 4. Heavy presence of the military and the return of youths to various universities and NYSC camps reduces the momentum of the protest 1 Like |
Politics / Re: IGP Mohammed Adamu Disbands SARS Nationwide (Video) by Arelyn: 2:37pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
This is just the game plan that has been set in motion a few weeks back even before the #endsars movement started... The police bill 2020 is the main action plan and it's a legal law of the country which was passed by the senate many weeks back while the Big brother Naija was on The powers for a policemen to do worse than SARS officials is already a legal law of the country and the IGP only has to redeploy them to where they will be supported by the Law of the land .....It is true that if you want to hide something to a black man, put it in a book...... 1 Like

The way Nigerians can be so reactionary to news without getting the full gist and applying same condition to themselves can be quite shocking.. You are on holiday and someone stab( injected) your sister with an unknown substance( later found out to be a date rape drug) and you try to demand justice by accosting the perpetrators, the police ( without uniform) stepped in and after revealing their identity, you requested them to take you to the hospital to treat your sister only for them to take you to the police station. What are you going to do at these point especially with a lot of "lost or killed on holiday" movie plots these days and with a profound knowledge of the Greek police as a corrupt bunch of guys that are notorious for lots of illegal collusion with the Albanian criminal gangs Most of us here won't take it easy if a policeman or a road safety officer decide to seize our driver license or impound our cars for unjust reasons not to talk of a life and death situation but we are quick to type gibberish online just because we are behind the veil of the internet 8 Likes 1 Share |

Education / Re: Which Of These Courses Should She Choose? by Arelyn: 12:35pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
None I won't advice you to rush her into school to study any of those courses because when she graduates in a few years time, she will patiently wait to get a befitting job My advice is to put her in a standard tutorial centre, prepare for next year admission to study Nursing or better still go for A'levels route( much more expensive and needs a higher level of intelligence but viable in any country of the world) OR she attends any of the school of nursing( either private or public), study for 3years, practice for a year or two( while also doing his post-basic), fight the IELTS battle( hopefully one or two attempts) and leave Nigeria for good She will liberate herself and if she is kind enough, liberate your family ***Don't forget, only HARDWORK will ensure this |
TV/Movies / Re: Shehu Sani Reacts To Disqualification Of 'Lionheart' By Oscar by Arelyn: 11:53am On Nov 05, 2019 |
Must we complain about being cheated when the law is plain and glaring even to the blind, thesame people will call it Grace, Favour, Blessing etc when the are rewarded by corruption or nepotism. English is our official language, that doesn't mean we don't have tribal languages...The rule states that the "movie must be of indigenous language", so lionheart don't warrant to be nominated in the first place |

Wuzyurdaddy: Everything is all about data, which is the new currency... The platforms buys the content( movies) from film makers, upload same on their YouTube page which attracts people( traffic) to watch...The higher the traffic, the more the Google ads that are directed to the page automatically Overtime when the platform can prove a steady volume of traffic, they only need to inform YouTube e-commerce team( i.e monitize the videos) to attract juicy ads. All these is done with a few clicks within the YouTube environment...... 2 Likes 2 Shares |

The agreement is a good initiative to ensure ease of flow of goods within the member countries and also provide them the ability to regulate withing the continent....I don't know the extremities of the trade deals that will be involved but it should be somewhat similar to the common FTAs in the world. It should be a welcome development for Exporters and Importers alike as a whole lot of bureaucracy will be removed |

OP, I don't mean to be rash but stop reading daily mail and The Sun websites, they are peddlers of lie... Rashford's contract is an "incentivized" contract worth £125k which can rise to £200k. Details of the contract values every goal he scores at £10k. The club is trying to encourage him to perform to his best in the next 4 years. |
