WombRaiders:
Still blaming PDP when the state's financial troubles are as a result of unchecked borrowing in lieu of federal allocations based on high oil pricing.

Bruce, you see the kind of ingrates that populate Osun?

Donate the entire allowance to those who elected you and stop being an Amaechi
Nearly all the stats under his nose in SS and SE from his own Bayelsa state and the people he represent to Delta, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ebonyi are all in the same boat with Osun with unpaid salaries everywhere so why not attend to his own brothers and sisters at home right under his nose before dabbling into Osun with his thoughtless and idiotic gesture?

LG workers in his own Bayelsa state haven't been paid for well over a year and many suffered 70% pay cut.

Are the suffering unpaid workers in his own state invisible to him and only Osun workers hundreds of miles away are visible to his hypocritical self?

He should be leading the fight against government waste like wardrobe allowance and even refuse to accept that money if he really gives a damn about poor Nigerians instead of taking the money to create silly political drama and self aggrandizing...
Politics › Re: Murray-Bruce Pledges His Wardrobe Allowance To Pay Workers (picture) by aresa: 11:55pm On Jun 17, 2015
Wastes like this wardrobe nonsense is why Nigeria is broke and unable to pay salaries from federal to state level so if this man really cares, he should be leading the charge or demonstration to stop needless waste like wardrobe allowance instead of gladly collecting the money and perpetuating the same absurdity.

Enugu crisis: EFCC to probe Chime over N12 billion fraud

The petition accused Chime of secretly allocating former Polo Amusement Park to a South African Company to build Shoprite and other business consortium where Chime has a controlling share through proxy.

He said under the arrangement for the sale, the land was partitioned into more than 100 plots valued at over N40 million each, which ran into billions of naira.

“This above sum was converted into shares in the South African Company for Sullivan Chime using a proxy company.

“Consequently, Gov. Chime owns substantial shares or equities in the said South African Company to which former Polo Park in Enugu was allocated to.

“On the surface, it will appear it was a mere allocation but underneath, it was a dubious calculated sale of public property with private intention by the Governor,” Nnaji points out.

The former National Auditor of PDP further alleged that the contract for the construction of the new workers’ state secretariat in Enugu was over inflated from the initial estimate of N8billion to N13billion and presently to N21billion.

Visited Enugu and could not recognise most places there. Chime was a very silent performer, no media propaganda, paying workers salaries upto date even though Enugu is not an oil producing state.

Most loudmouthed states in a certain zone of the country who describe themselves as sophisticated but their governors can't pay common salaries...........hahaha
ENUGU—Angry reactions have trailed the revelation, weekend, that Enugu State is among top 10 indebted states and most indebted in the South-East geopolitical zone.

Figures from the Debt Management Office, DMO, show that Enugu is indebted to the tune of N13.786 billion without domestic debts, to emerge the most indebted state in the South-East region.
This is apart from the N11 billion loan request which Governor Sullivan Chime had sought approval for from the Enugu State House of Assembly which the House hurriedly threw away last week, following protests from the people.

My dear, the source only compared the prices and models of their cars, not who bought it. Nigeria has a 2015 budget (which includes the presidency) which the government of GEJ did not pause. You could have made your comment without the abuse. It is well...
While both Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari prefer Mercedes-Benz, it seems that Jonathan’s taste in cars is much more simplistic than Buhari’s.
You are deceptively playing games with words and intent.

Your post basically asserted that Jonathan as the president of Nigeria personally was simplistic in taste while this new president has expensive taste and definitely not simplistic.

You should have provided documented official request by PMB requesting what you alleged or are insinuating in form of more expensive official car than before him...

What's simplistic about GEJ? The same man who supervised the most thievery, corrupt and wasteful government on the surface of the earth, the man who flew to every international engagement with the largest delegation ever with every one of them collecting estacodes lager than their annual salaries, the man who accumulated more Jets than many airlines, even more than the president of the United States...

I didn't wanna deviate from my topic before now...but let me take me on your own link...

According to your own source now;

1)Most indebted region is SW...

2)Least indebted region is SE...

3)SW states like Ogun, Oyo, Osun debts are greater or by far more than what Enugu is owing...

4)ALL states in SW are owing....

5)Abia state refused to raise bonds because they don't wanna mortgage their future through bonds...

So babe, how am I biased herehuh...don't join the bandwagon plzzzzzz...your problem is within and not where your leaders are pointing....
So, to cut long story short, when you owe less money than other people, you are a good debtor just like calling yourself a good thief because you stole less money than other people who stole more?

If Ebonyi state is still healthy economically
That was just silly because both states are in the same situation, they both owe workers salaries..

^^^^ You said Ebonyi is healthy economically when in fact it's broke, in debt and can't pay salaries.

So, what exactly is the meaning of your own definition or meaning of economically healthy?

Is it possible to be unable to meet your financial obligations, own workers and still be healthy economically?

I don't quote you normally in this forum having noted you as a professional and irredeemable bigot...

Is being economically viable same thing as being declared insolventhuh

Debt in those states is sustainable unlike their counterparts as stated in the post but bigotry won't allow you read and understand...
Why not answer your own question by showing us where you highlighted other debtor states in the SE.

Of course you not only left out the SE, but you also lied by claiming that Eboyin and Enugu are financially buoyant when in fact they are in debt and owe salaries just like the SW states you are killing yourself over.

Of what relevance is economically viable or insolvent? Are you ready to state categorically with facts and data who is viable and insolvent? If you are, please step forward with your facts and data with official government declaration of viability and insolvency..

And you know debts in those state are sustainable because you have official government economic and financial data to share with us or this is just another one of your bogus and meaningless claims that you can not prove.?

First eboyin and enugu are financially stable when in fact they are officially broke and owe salaries, not you are saying their debt is sustainable?

To make such claim, don't you first have to show us exactly what they owe in form of financial obligations, overheads, income streams and ability to generate unrestrained income especially with dwindling allocations across the board and so on?

Dude, you are not sitting in the middle of the village square telling stories to little kids. Speak intelligently with assertive facts and knowledge per what you can prove with documented facts and record.

Your statement above caught my attention. Please I need you to explain with details in what ways Abia state is in ruins.
1). What is Abia state debt profile(Internal and External) as compared to any state in the South-West.
2). Collapse of infrastructure(roads and drainages) in Aba doesn't translate to the entire state and doesn't imply economic collapse. Umuahia is infrastructurally better developed than any South-West state capital.... And that is a fact!
3). Abia state is owing salaries in batch... Just some parastatals (not the entire workforce).
4). There's very minimal external borrowing(if any). The future of our children have not been mortgaged to debts that cannot be repaid even in the next 30 years.

My friend, I want you to objectively explain how you came to the conclusion that Abia state is in ruins. I'm not here for any tribal bashing... Just facts and figures please
[/s]

Abia state was listed as the state that had not paid its civil servants salaries running into nine months. The state is also said to be owing workers of the Hospital Management Board eight months’ salary; Abia State Universal Basic Education Board, six months; Abia State Polytechnic, five months; local government workers, four months; and teachers, three months’ salary arrears.

http://theabujatimes.com/news/national-news-highlights/nlc-plans-indefinite-strike-due-to-unpaid-salaries-in-18-states/
You can cut, dice and make all the silly excuses you don't accord other states because of your tribal fixations, Abia is owing civil servants across the board and it doesn't even matter who, the state still owe workers salaries and still have debts. Debt is debt.

Look up the meaning of facts before uttering the the word FACTS..
