IsraeliAIRFORCE:Basically your opinion and I don't debate opinions... It may interest you to note that these forgery and lies have led to citing most industrial complexes in Southwest when the intended marketplaces were actually Eastern Nigeria. The Industries responsible for Nigeria's industrial activities from the beginning till today was any kind of forgery and there were not built by the Nigerian government. They were built before Nigeria as a country/before 1960. The government of the old western region led by Awolowo built all the industrial estates from Ikeja industrial to Matori, Apapa, Mushin, Ilupeju, Oluyole in Ibadan and also Oodua group of companies. Agian, try educate yourself about your own country's history before commenting on anything. Having understood this economic war in five multinationals I worked, it is time to question every politically motivated article written to perpetuate these lies. This is basically your own personal opinion and delusions with little or nothing to do with realities on the ground. These same lies were responsible for citing or relocation of many multinational headquarters to Southwest.Give us a single economic reason why Multinationals should site their HQs in any of your villages? Try elevate your reasoning above tribal and layman sentiments.. These lies are about projecting Southwest as the most conducive environment for businesses in Nigeria and it got to stop. You are entitled to even your own warped opinion of course... |
IsraeliAIRFORCE:I ignored your summary simply because it had nothing to do with GDP and what the OP asserted, you basically spewed your own personal opinion about budgets. Budgets and GDPs are 2 different things. Southwest GDP can't be more that 50% of Nigeria's GDP as attributed to it from the article - Fact. What fact exactly? Yours or documented facts. There is no way one can evaluate it to get such a fallacious inference. One can not evaluate, but you still managed to evaluate an arrived at your own facts anyways? You are not making any sense.. Moreover, how does housing headquarters of multinationals translate to high GDP when the derivatives for State are only property tax from few buildings and income taxes of few administrative staff working there.I listed almost 7 critical facts responsible for SWs large economic strength and all you are able to grasp and comprehend was HQ. Well, common sense should tell you that HQ siting is never directly about taxes but more about a lot of factors from economic activities to safety and security, infrastructures, access to skilled manpower, conducive business environment and active government support, arts and culture, food and entertainment which is a reflection of strong and thriving economy.. I laid down several economic pointers there so please don't bother me with any reply if you have nothing sensible and rational to dispute any of them with. |
tonychristopher: tonychristopher: tonychristopher:The above quotes means I shouldn't be having any conversation with you and your kind since only bigotry and hate shapes your mentality and utterances... |
tonychristopher:Dispute any of the points I highlighted with your own documented facts or peddle your meaningless and pedestrian rant elsewhere.. I debate facts and not unintelligent assertions. |
IsraeliAIRFORCE:Your analysis and the fact that some states in the SW are having budgetary difficulties has no bearing per the OP's conclusion about the SW. The GDP is what it is and it plays no part when it comes to budgets, states don't spend GDP, they spend taxes and allocations in Nigeria at least. United State's GDP is the largest in the world, but the same US is trillions of dollars in debt and they even finance their yearly budgets with deficits. So, the fact that the US bares the largest debt in the world and they finance their budgets with deficits doesn't mean the US is not the largest economy in the world. It's really not too hard to differentiate between apples and oranges.. Now to GDP itself... 1. The SW is Nigeria's industrial hub and nearly all the factories and industries responsible for our industrial and manufacturing output 2. Goods and services and financial services are located in the SW. 3. The SW is the largest entertainment hub in Africa 4. The SW hosts nearly all the corporate and multinational HQ in Nigeria 5. The SW is the Economic trading center for the whole of West Africa 6. 60 per cent of non-oil exports from Nigeria consisted of cocoa and rubber and last time I checked, both are sourced in the SW and cocoa remains the second largest foreign exchange earner. 7. The SW hosts of millions of economic migrants from other states for 1 simple reason which is the economic attraction and availability of opportunities to survive and make it financially and if such opportunities doesn't exist in the SW, Nigerians won't migrate to the SW. It's simple economics and laws of supply and demand. It's ok to dispute other people's facts and assertions, but you must do it intelligently with credible facts and broad knowledge about your own country's economic realities... |
OdenigboAroli:The thoughtless, misguided, aimless and visionless man arrived at the ignorant conclusion about private jets exactly because of what? Because he walked around the country with a clipboard and pencil while and counted all the private jets in Nigeria or he has his own database where every jet owner reports to him to log in their jets and their tribal origin? Or he walks around airports in Nigeria with the same clipboard and pencil while counting all the parked private jets and obtaining tribal information per the owners and state of origin? Or because he counted all the jets parked in his imaginary village airport and quickly arrived at the conclusion that his village folks own most of the jets in Nigeria? Is this exactly how he arrived at that conclusion? He mad that claim based on what exactly? It's very unfortunate that a whole governor jumped on the silly, shallow, ignorant and empty chest beating bandwagon. Btw. With the highlighted, you have no business talking about education... Empty and shallow chest beating is of course like I said a societal malady in that part of Nigeria.. |
There's a clear difference between a woman laying on the ground for whatever reason which you see all the time and the LASG emergency service responding to distress call made to the LASG EMS. EMS doesn't drive all over town looking for people laying on the ground, it is the duty of the citizens to alert agencies like the LASG EMS for assistance. The fact that they responded when called or alerted for assistance and carried out their duties on time diligently and professionally means a lot. Kudos to the LASG EMS. Eko o ni baje o.... |
[s] naija8080:[/s] And I know you are a villager hence your ingnorant and unintelligent nonsense. |
[s] AtlanticBreeze:[/s] You know internet trolls, nuisance and unintelligent nuisance like you bore me... |
OdenigboAroli:Even a blind man no fit miss that... |
[s] AtlanticBreeze:[/s] You know internet trolls, nuisance and unintelligent nuisance like you bore me... |
Most of the millionaires in Nigeria are from Anambra. This empty and shallow chest beating indeed a social malady in ibo land. What kind of world do these people live in? ![]() |
otijah:Who is stopping him or Amaechi have filed a lawsuit stopping or preventing him from carrying on with his foolery and comedic errands? Is Amechi dismissing the joker and calling his probe trash and nonsense not telling him to go ahead or you just can't read and comprehend simple English words? |
[s] fluxview:[/s] Unintelligent trolls and TaNoids bore me. |
HzRF: Under funding of the Nigerian public university system remains an issue that has over the years resulted into steady decline and rot that characterized learning at tertiary institutions in the country. To redress the situation that had resulted in the mass exodus of young Nigerians to seek further education abroad, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) and other pressure groups in the education sector resulted to strike actions. It is on record that lack of commitment by successive administrations agreement willingly signed between the government and the unions had resulted to 19 strike actions between 1992 and 2013. Recently, ASUU condemned the Federal Government’s failure to release the sum of N1.3tr meant for the revitalisation of the nation’s universities beyond the N200bn released for 2013, as the first batch of the money. There was no money released in 2014, and the first quarter of 2015 has come and gone with no money for the universities from the government. You might want to shut up and instead confine your lies and rubbish to your kind... |
HzRF:Shouldn't you first tell us what it was like under Wike as the education minister? Student's didn't even learn or go to school because his tenure was nothing but disasters, strikes and anarchy. Under who was education got more funded and every state got fed skulHow many schools was built and equipped with the invisible fund you pulled out of your anus? Zero. Keep quiet abge.. |
all4naija:Kind of idiotic and illogical to tag his work petty since you are yet to show us anything better than what Amaechi built by any other governor in Nigeria. That was very shallow and nonsensical.. You need to make better sense with your thoughtless argument.. There is no excuse or whatsoever to point finger at education minister in this issue to support your erring views.Every public official is responsible for his or her actions and accomplishments. Where is the sense and logic in criticizing one public official based on his achievements while shielding another public official with nothing to show for his time as the education minister, but strikes and anarchy in the education system? Those schools are state-owned from the look of things and there is no way the infrastructure is going to be the task of the federal government.I didn't ask you anything about who owns what. And what's the meaning of from the look of things? Do you need special education or lecture to proof to you that the school belongs to the people of Rivers state and built by Governor Amaechi? The question was, how many schools Wike built and equipped as the education minister of the federal minister of education? None, zero. Wike took education in nigeria to it's lowest point in the history of Nigeria... [s]In the same way Amaechi government has received more money than any governor of his predecessors. Only to languish huge part of that money running after presidential election he's not going to get anything from to the detriment of his state financial portfolio. Keep complimenting mediocrity and I am not going to be a part of that. These men have none of the citizens welfare at heart but, here you are deceiving yourself riddled with emotions to defend one of them.[/s]Stick to the topic of discussion and leave alone roadside, gists, rumors, and market women gossips.. [s]What happens to the Rivers Monorail project he started? Not interested in your meaningless rubbish, the topic is about schools and education in Rivers state. Log off if you have nothing better to talk about.. |
all4naija:The man not only built more schools than any governor in that region, he build the best schools in Nigeria and according to you, he still has to be blamed and labelled silly and incompetent by you and the incompetent new governor who supervised crisis, incompetence and school shut down all over the country as the education minister? Obviously, your brain thinks backwards and uncordinated.. Amaechi did more than the useless man and his entire federal administration did in terms of education in Nigeria? What was Wike's accomplishments as the education minister in Nigeria? Endless strikes and lousy education policies. How many schools was built under Wike as the education minister in Nigeria? When it comes to education, Wike remains a National disgrace and embarrassment and people like him shouldn't be in any public office and he is today simply because political crookedness and manipulation. Yours is the most thoughtless, shallow and idiotic talk ever.. |
all4naija:And what is wrong of me posting wonderful pictures of the schools his predecessor built for the people of Rivers state? The fact that such schools are not supposed to exist in the first place doesn't mean Amaechi did not do more than enough to change the situation or that he did not build more schools than any governor in that region combined. In fact, he build the best and well equipped schools in Nigeria. You people really need to keep quiet with your senseless and misplaced anger... You can not even show us 1 single school they built in your own state or village.. |
AdviserGeneral:To start with, the computers are on and the teacher dictates what happens in the class while she speaks, not you ibaka bird chirping on NL. |
[s] gogodaye:[/s] Please do us a favour by telling us he did not build any schools and while you are at it, please show us any other governor in that region with more schools built than Amaechi. Akpabio in the same region with more money to spend did not build 1 single school. Not 1 in Ebonyi Not 1 in Enugu Not 1 in Abia Not 1 in Cross River Not 1 in Anambra Amaechi delivered more projects than any other governor in that region combined and I can prove this with facts, just let me know if you are game... |
adenine02:Funny enough, many of them are not from Rivers, they are all the same shallow and empty chest beating villagers with zero schools built and commissioned by their village governors since independence... |
patmaine:I don't remember saying such so try learn how to read and comprehend and even the last time I checked, the ones I posted are in the same Rivers state too so what's your problem? |
ManUtdholic: ManUtdholic:Stick to the unintelligent and trollish nonsense like the above you clowns are synonymous for and quit bothering me with your idiocy and stupidity.. |
myklangelo:The attention seeking and disingenuous man can help us all by fighting the system, by leading the charge and demonstration to get rid of the kind of waste in government and official stealing like fashion wardrobe allowance that bankrupted Nigeria where the FG now borrow money to pay salaries and states with little or nothing to pay salaries. His thoughtless gesture can not solve the problem on the table because the problem is in Abuja where Nigerians sent him to work and create a better life for Nigeria. Why is he so concerned about Osun when his own brothers and sisters under his nose in his own state are equally hungry and unpaid? His brothers and sisters in Delta are also owed salaries just like Osun The rest of the region from Ebonyi to Abia, Enugu, workers in Cross River are still on indefinite strike over unpaid salaries so why is he killing himself over Osun state instead of facing and helping his own unpaid constituency at home in Bayelsa and surrounding states? What is so special about Osun that made him ignore his own suffering people at home? |
[s] anonimi:[/s] You should know by now that trolls and worthless internet clowns like you bore me.. |
The useless wike clown must have missed the hundreds of new schools built by his predecessor. The people put these clowns in office to work, but they end up spending their time in office on petty and childish errands . |
