TB Certificate- July 8

SOA print out from 2-31 July

Submitted online Visa application- 31st July

Appointment booking online- 2nd August

Biometrics done- 4th and 5th August for main applicant and dependents

Application transferred and received by DMC-6th August

Application returned to VAC- 21st August

Application received by VAC-25th August

Mail from VAC to collect passport-25th August

Passport Collection- 26th August

Can a phone scanner example Camscanner be used to scan documents for self-service or must it be scanned with a computer scanner?

Go to your application, click on "provide biometric and documents". You will be directed to TLS site. Click on the amend icon.
The TLS services will open then click on "book an appointment". Then click on amend my appointment.

It will own up the appointment booking page. If you don't see a date you like, just close the tab.

You won't pay again unless the new date is under assisted service. You won't receive a refund for the assisted service you had initially paid for.

From my experience, you don't lose the date. After searching for a new date and don't see something suitable, just close to the tab.

For Ikeja TLS, there are dates for 28th August for those who want to amend.

For V.I, I learnt there is 28th August too.

1. Study evidence if it has to do with your educational achievements. If not, upload in other category.
2. What affidavit? To show he's your father? If yes, it should go under finance along with the account statement. Alternatively, it can be uploaded in the other category.
3. Travel and residency category. Scan and upload the data page of the passport that has the applicable visas / permits, entry and exit stamps. You should also upload the applicable visas / permits entry and exit stamps.

Ensure that you clearly label each document being uploaded.

1. The affidavit is to show a correction in my surname. Cos the order of the surname on my passport and the one on my certificate are different.

2. He is providing an affidavit cos his middle name isn't stated on my birth certificate whereas his middle name is stated on his bank statement.

Please I need answers, I am trying to upload documents for self service.

An affidavit was stated in my CAS; should I put it under Studies evidence or should it be under others?

I am using my Dads bank statement and he also has an affidavit, should I put his affidavit under Sponsor evidence?

For info of countries one has visited, how do I include the evidence. Should I upload the data page of my old international passport (I lived in the country for 4 years so there are multiple entry and exist stamps and I have 4 different resident permits).

As for error two, is not an error. Even after I filled I have been known by another name which I filled , when i printed the pdf application i saw my maiden name but under if I hv been known by other names there is still No there . My agent made me to understand that so long as the maiden name reflected that I have nothing to worry about I should just provide my marriage certificate, birth certificate from NPC or attestation of birth from NPC and newspaper publications as proof of name change because my degree certificate bears my maiden name. Before we submitted, we clicked yes and inputed my maiden name again, after printing the application form, my maiden name appeared twice with No still popping out on the part that ask if you are known by another name .

I rented an accomodation to avoid using school address .

Same thing happened to me. I clicked Yes and provided the other name I have been known with but at the end, It shows "No" at the part where the question was asked. The other name I put is also showing too. It got me confused cos I was very sure I clicked yes.

For Ikeja TLS, there are dates under assisted service from 17th September up to 1st October but under self service the dates there are from 27th September.
It keeps changing so you can refresh and see an earlier date.

How much did it cost you to reschedule a new date?

Is this for TLS appointment or TB test appointment?

If it's for TLS appointment, you won't pay to reschedule unless the new date has a service attached to it (prime time, assisted service e.t.c). If your previous date had a service attached to it, you will lose it and will not be refunded.

If it's TB test appointment, I don't have info regarding it.

No, there is no limit. As long as you keep seeing a better date.
Just that you will lose any value added services you previously got and will need to pay if the new time slot has a service attached to it.

No, it won't be possible to change the TLS center.

For TLS Ikeja, there are dates under assisted service from 8th September till end of September

Pls for assisted service, do I need to make photocopies of my original documents or will they scan the originals?

I just noticed something this night and decided to share with you guys.

It's about changing your tls location. It's possible but only on mobile phone. I think it's a glitch to the favour off those that wants to change location.

1. Open your Gmail and click on the link sent to your mail from ukvi

2. It will open in the Gmail browser, sign in then click the three dots on the top left corner of the Gmail browser.

3. Click on open in Chrome, it will open the same page in chrome.

4. Click on the three dots again and then click on show desktop website. The page will refresh and take you to the page where you can select a location (as if you are starting a fresh with tls).

5. Change your location and that's it

Disclaimer: It occurred to me this night and I was shocked to see it. Mind you, I did not select a new location because I didn't see a need to, the closest place to me is ikeja and I already have a date for next week.

Nice observation. If you select another location, it won't open. A Prompt will come up and you will have to go back to the center you selected earlier.
I tried it when I was looking for a date.

I am asking because, I don’t get a closer appointment. I got 24th September when my school resumes on 14th September. But for my dependants, I was able to get 19th August with prime time appointment which am planning to go in with them since I am the main applicant then pay 42k for flexi when I get in. Would have suggested you do same, but since you don’t have , keep trying. I am looking out to amend mine may be I can escape paying 42k. If dates pops up will alert you. Cheers

Yes, I have been able to get a date. I just kept trying and refreshing the page.
I was finally able to get a date around 3am Monday morning.

Did you still go for the walk-in today?

A lot of persons were accommodated for walk in VI TLS.

Feel free to try any day, arrive before they start say 7am, your GWF number will be taken and you will ne mostly likely allowed in.

Yes, you can. Send the receipt or screenshot of the receipt to their mail.
You can also print out your receipt when going there as proof of payment.

You will have to buy dollars and fund the dollar account.
Request for a debit card for the dollar account if you don't have it. Then use the details to make payment.
