I need to ask a question in regards for this. The divorce Decree is something she can get from her local govt. I don’t think it is an issue to that extent. They wl issue it out within a couple of days. And if no context ,they know how to arrange it. If properly arrange, no cause for alarm. Anybody can divorce anyone at a fucking time. I don’t think UK student visa has time to go and look for ur divorce paper anywhere. My opinion

Wow , divorce letter in a local govt ? How , when and why pls ? It’s easy to actually identify a fake divorce letter , very easy . UKVI isn’t stupid . What judge would sign it ? What judge would affix their personal stamp and seal . Pls don’t advise Anyone to do this , they’d get caught and get banned . I can spot a fake divorce letter anywhere , now imagine an immigration officer . Each page of that divorce decree will have an originality stamp of the judge , CTC stamp of the high court . The high court is the proper place and to get a divorce from a statutory marriage , you need to institute an action in court as the petitioner and respondent. The court has to be satisfied that the marriage has irretrievably broken down.

Just so you know , Lagos state has a filing system that makes it easy to verify validity of documents . Court documents authenticity can be verified easily pls .

I'm not into the marriage anymore and we haven't gone for divorce ... Obviously we aren't staying together... We have gone our separate ways since last year june...no kids tho

I wanna get re-married soon and the date is fixed August 14.

At the same time I'm applying for UK student visa. Sept intake

In my application form should I click on married or divorce (ps. No divorce letter for now ) and what's the possibility that I will be able to invite my new husband over as a dependant ...

How do you want to marry again when you are still legally married ? You do know that’s Bigamy right ? If your partner is petty , they could sue you for this . Pls get divorced legally , you also can’t file for your new husband because you have to upload a divorce certificate. They have your marriage certificate in their record . If you use a court that’s not in Lagos and your divorce is uncontested, you could be done in a year . Depending on your lawyer , it could cost you an average of 400k upwards . So sort out the divorce else this new marriage will be invalid .

You can fully decide on the school , just saying it’s better to show care arrangement. Google “after school care clubs near ... (the name of the university you are going to or the area ) . A lot will pop out , click on the website , send them a mail saying you are coming to the UK , want your kids to use the after school care bla bla bla , ask for details and cost ..

Was it DIY ? Kos I applied for my girls in April and they got it first week of June(I didn’t do DIY) , an immigration officer helped . Have you checked that list they have on their website of ready passports kos they aren’t sending texts to everyone .

Their birth certificate that shows you are their mom .
Evidence of custody(court ordered ) , sole custody and if their dad has visitation rights , he should also give a consent letter .
If their dad is late ( death certificate) .
Care arrangement (evidence ) , like mails you have sent to schools they will attend , after school they will stay in while you are at school or at work incase they finish school before you finish your day .
Of course proof of funds .

Ojota stop is okay, that’s if you are coming directly from Owerri . From ojota , go through Maryland to Ikeja GRA . But if you will be staying somewhere , anywhere around Ikeja will be fine .

Psychology conversion is what you need .. it’s what I applied for but it’s because I studied law as an undergraduate degree and work in the HR department . Check Anglia Ruskin , Essex for conversion psychology but even at that it’s difficult to be admitted to study psychology if you aren’t in that line .

No , upload only the new one .. it mustn’t be the one you used to obtain CAS . As long as it’s 28 days in the account , that’s fine .

The money is still in the account right ? Print another one to be on the safer side . Though rule is it must not be more than 30 days old but just save yourself the headache of overthinking and print another 28 days statement ..

Your passport (original and photocopy ) , printout of your appointment time , print out of your evidence of payment .

I went there around 10am , didn’t finish the whole process until about 1:30 pm and I was asked to wait for 2 hours to get the certificate. So I didn’t leave until about 4pm

I know so many Nigerians who attend ARU , it’s also a TEF silver university. Still can’t be compared to TEF gold universities . Why not just apply for East Anglia or Essex since they are around the same environment plus cost of living in Norwich is very affordable . With East Anglia , you even get a 4k scholarship as a Nigerian .

Pls has anyone applied to a university with just statement of result ? My friend is about to apply to one with just statement of result . Her certificate isn’t ready and may not be ready till December. Her school issued her a letter of attestation though .

You can book, however on the day of the test it is compulsory to write down your Uk address and postcode ( which should be that of the University or University Accommodation) and it will be printed on the certificate.

There is a UK address ; the place where she is I’ll be staying which is with our aunt .
