Cavill is a good actor. It's not like The Witcher will be his first character acting. He was a stage performer veteran before making it big in England and later Hollywood. He also killed it in The Tudor. I'm sure he will be fine.

God of War will one day become a reality. With the current CGI technology, a movie adaptation ain't so farfetched Some scriptwriter is probably working on a movie adaptation right now.

Even if that online petition surpass 50 million, I don't think it will happen. GoT is the costliest and most tasking tv show HBO has ever undertaken. Thus, I imagine it must have been a tremendous relief for the crew to finally wrap up production. Now, fans are asking them to double down? No hell or high water will convince HBO to spend another millions in remaking a season they have all but concluded. No _fucking way. In purely business POV, it's irresponsible to even consider it.

That ship has sailed. Disappointed fans need to get this into their heads, and move on. There is a medieval fantasy show that will drop at the later part of the year called The Witcher. It's based on a video game by the same name. I think that ought to suffice for GoT fans until Amazon Prime debuts Lord of The Rings next year.
