Just read your take. It baffles me tremendously particularly the supermarket shopping part. If you wanted those things then buy them yourself.

I truly wonder when we are going to get something like Avengers again.

I remember going to watch the movie in the Palms Lekki. The tickets got sold out in my presence. When it was time to even enter the cinema hall, the place was packed. Even the ticket security man was thrown into the cinema hall by the sheer crowd.

When I watched infinity war I wanted 3d and got to the cinema 1 hr before time and was told it was sold out. Had to settle for 2d.

It was shown back to back. Every one was watching it. Avengers na die.

I just caught the last 40 minutes of a movie right now, based on a true life story and set in Jim Crow Texas. Denzel Washington was the teacher and mentor of a debate team from a lowly negro school called wilo college. The team managed to debate their way across the states and take on Havard in the final. The closing debate by the young 14 year almost brought tears to a niggas eyes

Has anyone watched this movie and please what's the title? I was hoping to catch the title in the post credit scenes but the useless station went straight to commercials.

Taxi Driver 8.5/10

Nothing beats the classics. This movies might seem slow and boring to the average person, but what it does is captivate you and take you on a ride through quality craftsmanship and leaves you marvelling at the brilliance of everyone involved. With a unique story and dedicated performance from the cast and crew, taxi driver deserves it's place as a remarkable picture.

If this is the one with Deniro then you're spot on..I give it 9/10.
