Women football has come a very long way. Hopefully, another team will be able to knock the stuffing out of this smug American team come 2023.

White girls are so intelligent and pretty. I must marry a white girl.

Nigeria ladies are just dumb with fake wig covering their brain, they put makeup to hide their ugliness. Only Edo and Igbo women are pretty and manageable.

God I must marry a white woman
Stop showing your stupidity in public, bro.

Is your mum white? What of your sisters?

Stop all of these useless generalizations jare. Some white girls are even more stupid and ugly.

Your second paragraph nearly ruined a great submission...

South Africa stepped up against Egypt, and won in a moment of magic, and miscalculation from their opponents... That doesn't make them better than Super Eagles even in the slightest.

Football is about turning up, and converting chances... But, in general team outlook, toe to toe, Super Eagles are actually miles ahead... Chukwueze will easily make a mess of that wing, and which of their strikers is as clinical as Ighalo?
Bro, don't get me confused. I didn't say South Africa's team is better than Nigeria.

I said the South Africa team of today is miles ahead of the one we met in 2004. And the Super Eagles (what I meant by "SE"wink of that year is better than the one we have now.

How many of this present team's game have you watched in this tournament? Let's start from there...

South Africa is most organized team in the tournaments, I have been watching their game for a long time, they have a solid defefence, and fast attack, they will beat super eagle if eagle play the way they played against Cameroon
Exactly, many of the people saying walkover and all that here haven't really watched the South African team.

Football in Africa has changed. Who would have though Benin will knock out Morroco? Or Madagascar to beat Nigeria?

After getting their hopes up too much like this, IF RSA then defeats the Eagles on Wednesday, that's when you see all of them insulting the boys and their family. Because they got their hopes up too much.

Oh pls chukwueze contribution was just a coincidence.
This is how we are fast to label people superstars. Just cos of one hit. Then by the next match that coincidence does not repeat itself you call him a flop.
Thats why we have so much mediocrity in this country esp in music.
"Just a coincidence" ke.

Well, FYI, there's nothing "coincidental" about his performance. I have followed his progress all throughout last season for Villarreal. And there's every reason to be excited about the lad.

He was immense in the first game against Burundi and served as an outlet when he came on today. If you watched well you would have seen how many times the defenders, midfielders and even Musa switched play to him when he came on. It clearly shows that they know and trust his ability.

Truth be told, I don't get over excited about players like many. But I have found genuine reasons to be excited about this boy. And even if in the end he doesn't leave up to the hype then so be it.

Please someone pass this message to NFF. They should double Chukwueze's own. As well as Ndidi and Ighalo's.

Give them from your pocket first, I will send the check tomorrow morning. grin

Not surprised their brains are becoming twisted with all that copious porn consumption..

I really wish Nigerian fans will tone down the bragging. Just allow the boys get to it and give it their best shot

One thing is crystal clear: this South African team is MILES better than the one we walloped in 2004. Plus our team is weaker compared to the Super Eagles team of 2004.

I was in awe watching the Bafana Bafana against Egypt. It was easily the most interesting game I'VE WATCHED at the tournament yet. They PRESSED Egypt and played some intricate, top-notch pass and move combinations that carved Egypt apart. That was nice to see.

I hope our coach finally gets the memo and unleash our new golden boy, Chukwueze from the get-go. Just as Percy Tau will occupy Aina, I would like Chukwueze to occupy that Lanthi guy in RSA's "3" position.

In the end, I hope we come up with a game plan that wins the game and moves us to the next stage. Up The Eagles!

Arsenal is one of the most culturally diverse clubs in the world. And even though we are not winning trophies on the field, we are definitely one of the best run social media teams.

Well deserved. Becoming one of Nigeria's finest footballers alongside Ndidi and the impressive Chukwueze.

In other news, who else thought the referee was a tad too aggressive? Shouting up and down in players' faces especially during corner kicks.

Too many fickle fans, have we got in this country

At halftime it was proper chaos: people putting off their gen, others putting off the TV. Yorubas lambasting the Igbo players, Igbos lambasting the Yoruba player and all that. grin grin

At the end of the game all of that was forgotten as everyone came together to celebrate as ONE. Naija! Never a dull moment.

That guy just referred to Odion Ighalo as the GOAT. All well and good to celebrate him now. Hope you people don't start to slate him tomorrow after a bad game. We have too many fickle "fans" in Nigeria.

The same persons shouting drop Ighalo and start Onuachu are now referring to the big burly forward as a "lump" bla bla bla.

P.S. All these bloggers on Nairaland will not kee us. He just posted "Nigerians react on twitter" and he is asking us to "Click here for Video".

Which video are we going to see again, biko? Is it videos of the people typing?

Nigerians haff started.

"Walkover" "South Africa are our perennial wives" bla bla bla.

This is how you people make mouths before games, at the end you get disappointed. Learn to tone down.

There were FOUR key things that impressed me about South Africa against Egypt:

Their PRESS : They made life uncomfortable for Egypt with a "modern" press as the Egyptians tried to play out from the back.

This could be problematic for us. Neither the duo of Ekong or Omeruo are very assured on the ball. And we are renowned for making back passes too much. That should be something to take note of.

The Hold Up Play of Mathiba: The guy was a beast up front against the physical Hegazi. Held play well and brought in the likes of Percy Tau, Lorch and the midfielders into the game.

Nigerian defenders have to be really physical against him.

Their One-touch Football:
Not even the more technically astute North African teams have played the kind of pass-and-move football the South Africans played at times.

To be honest. It was thrilling.

That kind of passing can cut a defense into two very quickly. We have to be on guard.

Defensive Organization: That man in midfield, Furman, protected the defense SUPERBLY. And the defense played their part too.

In the end, Nigeria possess more than enough firepower to win this game. But it will NOT be a walk over like many are already claiming all over social media.

We play a different style of football from Egypt. And that counts for a lot.

I HOPE of course, the Eagles carry the day.

A much improved performance in the second half.

Still mad that Rorh doesn't seem to know how to make changes as at when due.

He is playing a select group of players out of 23 he took to Egypt. And he is running them into exhaustion with late, late changes.

My boy Chukwueze is definitely meant for the top. Confirmed chaos factor!

Ighalo is Nigeria's best CF. I have repeated it many times and some still argue.

Akpeyi is now a major issue, though. He is too shaky.

Just stop playing back and sideways passes. And win the fuçking game.

Would have much preferred Chukwueze to that Moses Simon, though. And Aina in "2", while Jamiu Collins takes the opposite flank. Good luck to them, nonetheless.

Let's put this into perspective...

Nigeria played teams ranked a lot lower than them in this group...

We scored 2 and conceded 2 in 3 games.

Madagascar scored FIVE.

Guinea scored FOUR.

So don't be surprised at how things are turning out to be.

BTW, have you noticed that since 2015 we haven't really seen our team being supported by our famous support clubs as it used to be?

What the F is the sports minister doing self?
