CareerRe: What Are The Career Opportunities For English Graduates? by Artorius(m): 11:01am On Oct 14, 2016
From my experience in the diaspora' there's considerable demand for English graduates to teach ESL in east Asian countries, etc.
It will require a bit of work to get such an opportunity though.
Please don't ask me as I don't know how to.
It's just a thought

[b]How can Rwanda be discriminating against other Africans? [\b] Who on earth do they think they are, is this their way forward after the dreadful genocide of not so long ago? Angola is also another difficult country when it comes to visas. USA, Canada, etc offer business people excellent investment incentives which permit ease of travel entry.
No wonder African is the most backward continent.
Brother. I know you read it, but did you understand? :/
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Writing Hobbies In CV by Artorius(m): 7:19am On Sep 18, 2016
I'm all for keeping CVs concise and to the point.

Should a CV appear to be lengthy, hobbies may be considered redundant. If you have something compelling to share you may include it.

I however have a hunch that Recruiters like resumés shorter smiley

If it's not necessary, exclude.

Exodus 24:9-11New International Version (NIV)

9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up 10 and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky. 11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Compare.....
◄ 1 Timothy 6:16 ►
New International Version
who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen

God being all invisible and a spirit, which one do we consider right here?
Please consider and discuss the issue that this meme raises.
Concerning the meme, Jesus' experience was a spiritual one. It wasn't an actual physical mountain, just as it wasn't the actual pinnacle of the temple smiley
EducationThe Most On Demand Vocational Training Courses In Nigeria by Artorius(op): 9:53am On Aug 02, 2016
It's common knowledge that in the University admission system, courses such as Engineering, Medicine, etc are well sought after.
What about the vocational trades? Such as automotive, plumbing, electrical installations, etc.
Is there any interest in these fields? And which of them attract the most interests?

for where. It works with only facebook(it doesn't load pictures) and other pre-selected sites that are alreading on the free basic package. Any site that is not part of the package will entail the use of data and the last time I checked, youtube wasn't there.
What is your opinion sir? Do you think it's a good enough solution - out of other possibilities - to the low internet penetration rate in Nigeria? smiley Sorry, I'm making research

N/B: You don't have to enter nairaland.com, it is under a section probably learning or social and communication after you've clicked on free basic. am nt sure for now.
BONUS: you can even download the free basic app on android
Hello, you seem to be familiar with the Free Basics Platform. Can I ask if online video streaming from Youtube or anyother streaming sites is possible with Free Basics? Thanks! smiley

It is wise for Nigeria, especially us young Nigerians, to carefully consider the implications of embracing this scheme, and Facebook's underlying motives, before diving headfirst into it smiley
The Internet.org Free basics hasn't been banned in countries such as India for no reason smiley

I am a very proficient and skillful public speaker. When I deliver a talk, lecture or speech they are always very sound, logical, eloquent, coherent, consistent, highly persuasive, analytical, motivating and inspiring. I arouse and sustain peoples’ interest from beginning to the end. I normally draw an outline which usually follows a definite order starting from introduction to conclusion.

It does not matter who the audience is; I can speak even to the council of heads of states if given the opportunity. I have a very wide understanding of the society. I have an NCE in Economic and political Science and a degree in Education (History/Int’l Studies).

With this skill I want to go commercial. What are my chances? Matured comments please.
Hi, I love your ambition, I also plan to be a professional speaker at some point in my career. It's a good way to share ideas and stuff.
I suggest you get an area of specialty, where you are 100% qualified and knowledgeable to speak about anytime.
One way to kickstart a career in public speaking is to offer to speak for free. it's a bit hard even to do that, but there are opportunities around. Offer to speak at events, conferences, etc. all for free. Network appropriately in these events, and increase your network of people.
Follow accomplished public speakers like Brian Tracy, he is my personal favorite. Probably the most prolific public speaker of all time.
Ever thought of going into sales? You can be a technology evangelist smiley
My startup might be needing people like you soon wink I just hope you won't be too expensive, at least from the beginning. you can send me a pm if you like, I'll like to add you to my people list smiley
And oh, just a second thought. You ever heard of toastmasters? It is an international organization for public speakers, I don't know if they have active branches in Nigeria. I am currently on exchange studies in Korea, and I am a member of one of the branches in Seoul, and it is very cool. In fact, we have a meeting tomorrow and I am due to speak smiley Try to see if they have such in Nigeria, preferably around you and make yourself an active member. It will give you a sound platform to practice your skills and to network.
I am quite good at speaking too, and I'm famous in my club here in Seoul.
I would also encourage you, public speaking is one of the most lucrative things around, and it is highly desirable even if you work for a corporation or something like that. Keep hustling, and God bless you. I added a few photos from my toastmaster club smiley
