All those ones na long talk oga
Obi is a crazy and manipulative guy, even me as a full blooded Igbo man cannot and never fell for his tricks at his height of rave.

The solution to Naira is simple.FIX THE USD TO THE NAIRA at 1:1 and control the inflation that arises that's it.

It's all takes aggrement of the CBN and US federal reserves to do the job.this is only possible if we had a smart head as president but currently we have a sick head rather.
Some of you are not suppose to discuss this issue of naira and dollar because you don't know nothing about.
How do you fix usd to naira at 1:1?
Apart from crude oil n the meagre africa produce, what are you going to Exchange to defend the naira?
Business › Re: How Government Policies Is Killing My Business by Artscollection: 9:12am On Oct 25, 2023
richmond500:
The essence of these policies is to kill importation business and make Nigeria a production country.
Your business is not the only business that is dying, many business that depends on dollar has closed down and more will close too.

Time is coming when Naira will hit 5000 to a dollar. When this happens, foreign products will be difficult to purchase and we will have no choice but to buy made in Nigeria goods cos even a pair of foreign pants will be so expensive that only politicians can afford it while the rest of us will wear plantain leaves.

It's so annoying that the average secondary school student knows the dollar to naira exchange rate, that shows how we depend so much on the dollar and killing our own naira.
Until we patronize our own companies, we can't grow the economy, this painful stage is called the transition stage from foreign to local, the govt is not the problem but the time it takes Nigerians to accept the Nigerian goods will determine how long the pain will last.

In the next five years, we will fully accept our own economy and in the next ten years, we will have an economy that will beat France and Germany cos we have the market already.
Empty head!!!

Honestly is frightening!! with the liquidity crunch, any foreign investor will avoid such economy Because you can't repatriate your profit as well.

Brainwashed mumu.

So as you are now, you actually believe the ancient Hebrews were white Europeans?

What the blasted hell would have taken white Europeans thousands of miles into the hot deserts of the Middle East 5,000 years ago, and why?

Do you know that YOU have a greater claim to that land than any white or Arab person there?

You people are just lost.

You don’t know anything.

Even the bible you claim to follow states and implies REPEATEDLY in many verses that the Hebrews were blacks.

But will your colonial brainwashed heads allow you to see clearly?
You must have been in Europe to understand this very well. Those guys are not the original jews point blank.

The ease at which the Naira depreciated or the ease producers pass on price increases is worrisome.

In countries where inflationary pressure is low, producers choose to absorb some of the increase or even all of it rather than pass it all to the consumer
We still dey bath for belle, price absorption is possible in those countries courtesy of govt subsidy.

The CBN has to increase interest rates to a level it can start slaying inflation. If done, the Naira would become stronger. I won't be surprised if it hits about 800.

However, it's as though Tinubu is worried that any steep rate rise lest it tilts the economy into a recession. This is inescapable.

With a stronger Naira and lower inflation, the positive effect would outweigh the any recession or downturn it brings.

Cheaper prices are like a God send.

The CBN needs to open up to how much is in the foreign reserves. The government has kept mum about it. If the rumor that it has fallen to $4bn is true, the country might have no choice but to approach the IMF
It has nothing to do with inflation at this point, the floating of the Exchange Windows at this point with subsidy removal is the main issue.
