They are all Preloved but most look really neat. Usually we do this on the newborn thread but seeing as the items I have are mostly for soon to be moms.

If you can pack your baby's bag now, beautiful cos you will be amazed at how tired you'd get when you decide to wait till around that time. Don't be the mommy that will be rushing to pack amidst labour pain, my mom is a culprit of that .

I saw a hot water flask in the market "mega", heard its super dope.
Don't forget to pray, pray, pray. Even all the medical instruments that will be used on you, pray for them.

Please those that haven't updated their EDD and sex should do so, so I can add it.

We are doing good and fine, please am I the only one that snores loudly at night? I didn't believe hubby until he played my recorded tape for me the next morning, the thing loud Sha with different different sound. I can't imagine me that usually sleep peacefully oo

My sisters,please help me out. I had a caesarian section about 2 weeks ago and looks like a little part of my incision is open at the extreme left.

I plan going to the hospital tomorrow. But can any mum with experience enlighten me on what could probably be done to make the incision ok.

You can use 5mls or 10mls syringe depending on the size of your nipple. Cut off the top and attach it to your nipple, withdraw it back as if you're withdrawing injection. Hope it helps

Awwwww, don't mind dh, it's the joy of motherhood. You will get your fine face back, no one dare call you ugly and if any one should dare, you shake your bombom for the person. Mine is big fat varicose veins, very scary something, try and count it all as joy. I'm sure there are some part of you that got finer, mine is boobies, I use it to compensate.

Sex:My baby closed legs, I was even asked to exercise up and down the stairs so that baby can be disturbed but baby still closed legs oo.
Nb: Cappo am not happy oo if you see me now eehhh my face no be here oo, dark pimpled big face and nose. Dh will sometimes say hey your then fine pointed nose don big pass my own oo, if nah so your face dey when I first met you I wouldn't have come close oo. Please is there any diy someone can do to at least fine small for face abeg. February is too far to be this ugly all the way.

Thanks Mama,I visited the hospital yesterday and it was confirmed that there are fibroids,two of them. The baby hitting and pushing the fibroids give me that excruciating pain. I was given some drugs and it has stopped now,though they said I might be feeling from time to time.

Please see your doctor to check on you, same thing happened to me yesterday and as I read your post yesterday I was like wow maybe is round ligament pain but my dear I didn't sleep at all last night, lying left or right couldn't relieve the pain. I went to the hospital today and guess what "Preterm labour". But is not my portion. Am 18+

I have graduated from a FTM to an awaiting STM

Really don't where to start from, after different scans were giving various weight for baby, 3.3, 4.5, 5.1 and 3.58... my sisters o, me & hubby decided to opt for elective cs as we were already 40 weeks gone, i mean in our 41st week. After i meant with my antenatal doctor, he invited more doctors, so there were team of doctors debating on my matter o.. las las the most senoir suggested they should give more 10 days and watch me closely since there were no signs of contractions/labour yet. Some doctors nodded against the idea but couldnt alter a word maybe becuse he was the most senior... God intervened immediately by bringing another senior doc my way...he saw them and asked what was going on and finally authorised i should be induced today today, concluded by saying madam go get your things... i shouted i am ready, let the induction start now biko.. later said i go and come back in the evening time.

Came back in the evening after powerful prayers of agreement & thanksgiving with hubby n my mumcy (come o, new mamas esp the ftm, i admonish you to go digest very well the ebook of supernatural birth, alot of us have it n can forward it).
Got to the Hospital, DH donated a pint of blood, a drug was inserted exactly by 12:am, i was asked to stroll around, i did that with hubby, i was catwalking, reminds me of our honeymoon at calabar plus or prewedding photos... chai! I felt like a Queen!
Was checked afterwards but was only just 2cm
We intensified the strolling till the next morning when the nurse decided to insert the second batch stream A of the clarion call
Mamas, at this point and beyond i realised i was a prophetess as i started releasing prophecies about many things infact i must have predicted when this world would end or who would be the next presido of naija... then i realised what a mama that went thrpugh same processes confessed.
At point, i would want to squat or fly or scream... mama telling me endure endure, stop shouting, conserve energy
For my mind, endure gini? Even for nysc endurance trek... one must not finish or you can take breaks in between as much as you wish

Fast forward into the Lfavour ward. So many mamas were screaming their various choruses with one as the chior mistress coz she has this commanding tone/voice that makes others to back her up...
Fast ward again, i joined the host of angelic mamas singing unto the Lord without proper rehearsal yet the song made sense
I sang both treble, alto and a little bass when the contration seizes a while.
I remember seeing the nurses playing n facebooking while we sing, a consultant walked in unanounced and saw some team of medical practitioners chitchatting while waiting for us...
The consultant screamed, see babys head o
They rushed, wore apron and was telling the mama not to push ooo
Hold on, hold on till we ask you to push
In my mind, i said nonsense people

Laboured a while, i cant time it biko... i have never worked in the capacity of a time keeper
The nurses were saying madam you are not pushing oo

I was confused, all these power mike pushing no do?
God came to my aid again through a nurse that said, your baby is big, gave me small cut n asked me to push...suddenly the bad nurse came and asked the other nurse to cut more may be to my anus nah...bad nurse
She said no, there is space... i pushed n my beautiful chinese girl came forth crying a little...everybody was wowed saying beautiful n very neat girl
All the pain disappeared...
I guess my baby didn't want to show up naturally because of the pregncare max dh bought from our first week till birth...a doc said she was enjoying, crossed her legs in the womb while sipping... another reason to buttress this is that she can suck eh
You would hear loud sound while she sucks
Also my breast not yet flowing freely
Please suggest what to give her
They said NAN is okay

Birth Story..
Thanking God for a wonderful 9months and Safe delivery .
I was terribly down when in the early trimester as I had to battle with Adnexal cyst, morning sickness and malaria .
Second and third trimester was cool.
I was able to go about my normal business .

I started feeling contraction on Saturday 27 July but thought otherwise. Same pattern of discomfort till Monday night which was more intense by hours.
So I decided to check in to hospital on Tuesday morning as advised by hubby but funnily contraction disappeared fiam
At about past 5pm the contraction came back with full force, I quickly finished up my remaining chores and waited for hubby since he was close by so he could handle my eldest son.

We checked in at the hospital my HMO covers and the nurses on duty where rude and asking silly questions (never seen those sets before), matron not available, Just Two doctors on duty ..
I was disturbed and confused so hubby suggested since I just want to know if its real contraction let's go to where I delivered my first child.
When I checked in some minutes to 10pm, one of the nurses on duty checked and said 4cm and advised I stay back, I said before nko.
I was taken to labor ward, Dr and Chief Matron called to report.
IV line set, I was checked again around 11:45 and 7cm gone but the pain was still bearable. Then LO decided to burst membrane himself and pain entered gear 3, matron was by me and we kept doing breathing techniques, my clothing was removed and off we went to delivery room about 12:39.
Oh the pain was not nice but I wasn't pushing, will hold my bum bum and matron hand tightly instead, then she inserted 3 tab of buscopan(not sure that's d name) and 1:35 am July 31st after Six 6 attempt at pushing, the young man arrived giving me small tears, placenta followed immediately and I was stitched and cleaned up.
Hubby and my older toddler were so joyful eeh, we finally all slept past 3am.

The BFP was a miracle to behold as MIL was still telling me to get pregnant again after my first daughter. Fortunately, i got pregnant that month. It was a mixed feelings. The pregnancy symptoms was quite different from the first, so i thought in my mind, its definitely a baby boy. The first trimester was full of vomitting and nausea especially when i smell something. The second trimester was quite easy easy, while the third trimester was full of leg pains. My EDD was July 21, but i was expecting lo very early since my first daughter came in 38wks plus. I was already bothered like habbeyoluwa. I'm meant to coach a presentation at work, but i prayed i just gave birth before the date as i'm just too heavy to even coach the rehearsal. 39weeks gone, no show, nothing nothing, only braxton hick contraction that come and go whenevee it likes. Eewww. I made up my mind to do the presentation for the upcoming party on wednesday and also attend the party. The party was a bit stressful, and i left the party arena around past 7 in the night on Wednesday, July 17.
A colleague of mine dropped me at the bustop but unfortunately, there was no tricycle to take me to mg destination. I waited and waited but to no avail. However, my first daughter is still in school, my husband is around the house area but no key to enter. I started trekking, i trekked a disstance of 100naira. And i felt a heat wave from inside of me. Although, I've been eating constant pineapple for 4days now. I called hubby that i'm feeling uncomfortable that i will soon be at home, so he shouldn't watch the Nigeria vs Tunisia Match at the game center. I took my daughter from the creche aand we met at home. I noticed the contraction started again, i started working to and fro for one hour while my husband watches football match. When it was 10:30, hubby said we should go to the hospital as we don't have a car. I told him, we will go in the morning if the contraction persist. He warned me that he wont leave the house in the midnight. By 12:00, the contraction still persist. I told him, we should go to the hospital. I had to back my toddler daughter on my contraction. We called taxify/uber, none was available. We decided to get Napep by walking to the nearest bus stop to our house. Napep were declining claiming they are done working, another contraction came in and i told my hubby i'm gonna throw our daughter away if he doesn't carry her and she's fast asleep, mind u, hubby carried my hospital bag. A Napep man saw me and emptied his passenger immediately, the Napep got me to the hospital.
On getting to the hospital, the contraction disappeared again. I told the doctor that i'm okay, that should just allow me to rest that its only braxton hick contraction. I got to the hospital past 1, the doctor checked and i was 6cm gone. Ewwwww!!!. I was so happy, lo is finally coming, i was put on drip to increase the shanku dance, my water broke around 3:00am and i was vomiting and pooing at the same time, at the third poo, the baby's head had already crowned and i was taken to the delivery room to push, but the baby head wasn't coming out. I tried pushing until it came out, the shoulder no, it took time to come out too. I birthed my lo around past three, placenta came out 3:30am. No tear, the delivery was smooth and swift.
I thank almighty Allah for mercy upon my life.

Please I'm down with malaria 1+ and was given lonart today in the Hosp. Asked the doc if it's safe in pregnancy and he gave me the go ahead.
I'm still skeptical about taking the drug as I've taken one of the coartem kinda drugs earlier b4 I found out I was preggy which I'm not entirely sure is safe in pregnancy. Just don't want to repeat same again that's why I want to be extra sure

I had the same 1+ of malaria, always having headache and cold. My Doctor gave me lonart and he says is safe for me. I've been taking it and is remaining just 2.
