Min wage have been implemented at least for my sch

Pls go get your feb pay slip and compare with that of jan.
The problem is that the deductions were too much that you dont see the effect of the new min wage for example about 51k+ was added to my pay but the total deduction amounted to 49k+

That was when they started implementing for u, and all other tertiary institutions but they kicked the current tax system off 4 years ago and civil servants in other ministries are already used to the inflated tax deductions. I work in an hospital not a school.

The present tax system has been in place since late 2016 and personally, my tax jumped from 7k to 18k.
Apparently, the tertiary institutions never implemented it until IPPIS now came in.

Well may be in your organisation but as far as my sch is concerned, killer tax regime started last feb.
Any way, lets wait for the arrears then we can confirm

It seems the arrears have entered lockdown. Since heavy taxes and other deductions have swallowed the differences in the former salary and the new minimum wage, I am afraid there might no longer be any arrears left. Even if there are any arrears left, such might be very infinitesimal in amount.

I think the arrears will be reasonable because the killer tax regime started Jan 2020 but arrears is from Apr 2019 to DEC 2019

Please how much was added as MW since Feb and how much should we be multiplying by 9.

Collect your pay slip for Jan, feb and possibly march, then do the calculation

Someone told me that the deduction was 2% union dues for 2 months which i calculate and it gave me approximately the amount they deducted for 2 months.
BUT SHA I DONT KNOW HOW TRUE THIS IS, CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM IT FOR US HERE.

*1. MARCH SALARY*

*March salaries is delayed because IPPIS claim to be working on the challenges ASUP identified and communicated to them.*

*2. SALARIES OF COMRADES IN DIASPORA*

*IPPIS has reiterated it assurance of paying our Comrades their salaries pending when they will be in the country for enrolment.*

*3. MINIMU WAGE ARREARS*

*That arrears will only be paid after all outstanding issues are attended to.*

*3. MISTAKES IN ACCOUNT DETAILS*

*All reported cases of mistakes in account details have been addressed and such Comrades have been paid their Febuary salaries.*

*4. SALARIES WITH MF BANKS*

*Of the 105 cases of non payment of February salaries domiciled in Nasarawa MFB, 78 cases have been resolved and salaries paid. 25 cases with serious mixed up are still pending.*

*Four (4) cases out of 13 with FPN MFB are still receiving attention.*

*5. NON PAYMENT OF FEBUARY SALARY WITH ENROLED GRADE LEVEL*

*Comrades that were enroled on the IPPIS platform using the grade level on their last promotion letters but were not paid Febuary salary based on that should forward a photo copy of their IPPIS enrolment slip to ASUP Secretariat.*
