Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Ashraf123(f): 3:10pm On May 13, 2023
mcobex:
It depends on you. Both ways aren't bad, depending on how you structure your application.
If the whole family must apply together, then they will have to show enough funds and also give genuine reasons why they MUST go together. They should also try to show good home ties(reasons to want to go back to Nigeria after studies).
If the principal applicant wants to apply first, it means proof of funds will be less and he/she can use the other family members back home as good home ties.
So, pick which choice you think will be better for you.
Ps: No two applications are the same, what works for Mr. A might not work for Mr. B. So, the ball is in your court.
Goodluck
Thank you so much for your response.

Good afternoon Everyone,

As a family of 4, what are the chances of getting the visa approved if we apply once or should the main applicant only apply and file for the rest later? Pls which one is the best way to go?

I have used xiaomi and I plan on porting to Samsung(s10e) but this lock down is delaying it.

Listen unless you're buying Samsung s series or note series it's best you buy that note 8 pro.
Samsung A series is rubbish, most of them use a low exynos processor which is nowhere the redmi note 8 pro Helio GT90 ( tested and trusted)

Highly recommend you buy the redmi especially since you're girl and you ladies love pictures too much, the camera quality is INSANE just check YouTube or go to a store and test it the camera is insane but if you can increase your budget to 100k I'm sure you can find a UK used Samsung note 9
If it's not Note or s series, forget it.

Modified:
Not to sound sexist but a lady asking about processor grin
Anyways redmi note 8 pro over any Samsung A series device. Exynos is shit as said before unless you get the exynos 9820(this one is actually good)
Battery, redmi is better.
Samsung A70 has 25w fast charge.
I'm yet to see a Samsung A series phone with a ground breaking good camera so it's redmi.
May God bless you for this review. I'm actually confuse between buying a50/a70 or going for mi 9t. Now I know what to buy.

I keep on saying Arabs are the most barbaric uncivilized, racist, inhumane people on earth.

I pity some of my fellow Muslims brothers when people insult Arabs or Arabian countries, they will start burning with rage and foaming in the mouth as if they are related with them.

If not because of Islam, Arabs would have been eating human flesh by now.

#i hate Arabian culture.
I wish I can love ur comments a million times. I'm a Muslim but I hate Arabs with passion. Those guys are despicable in fact not worth to be called human. Khashoggi's murder is an eye opener. Very barbaric people

Family / Re: My Genotype Is AS And My Fiancee Is AS; What Do I Do? by Ashraf123(f): 9:51pm On Oct 08, 2019
You can actually go ahead with your plans. We have amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling. These are ways of checking the genotype of a foetus and it is normally done at early stage of pregnancy. There's a diagnostic center in Benin and several others in Lagos that do the test. It costs between 200k to 300k. The world is actually moving. Thanks to science.

Family / Re: Unmarried, Childless Women Are Happiest People Of All, Says Expert by Ashraf123(f): 4:52pm On Sep 28, 2019
CHoccolaTE:
I asked this question before in another topic and I will ask it again;
What exactly do women gain from marriages apart from escaping societal pressure of getting married and having kids?

Men are the ones prolonging their lineage with marriage and kids,
Men are the ones in charge of whatever homes they set up after marriage, they have control, they have the final say. Everyone submits to them.
Men are the ones who get both a co-breadwinner and lifetime cook, cleaner, sex slave ( trust me many married women lack sexual satisfaction, sex after marriage is mostly for husband's benefit),
Men can even cheat with impunity and have children outside wedlock and go scot free, he basically maintains his freedom to have wanton sex just like when he was a bachelor, and he gets no blame and his wife is advised to stay with him because men are ' naturally polygamous'.

Yet society wants us to believe women benefit more from marriages.

With loss of freedom, loss of former identity ( changing surname even if the man you now bear his name cannot take care of you or provide for you), loss of beauty and youth after having children that belong to another mans lineage and family, horrible unsatisfying sex life in many cases, is forced to overlook cheating husbands behaviour, must balance greatest majority of housework and breadwinning while husband contributes barest minimum to housework. The man might even be jobless but the wife is advised to stay and support her husband and help him grow.

Infact the list of losses is endless.
honestly you nailed it. Many people will definitely deny it but it doesn't change d fact.

You are as ignorant as you are an amoral woman-hater, with all your nonsense about "unruly" women needing "correction" (who send you?). What this buffoon did is commit physical assault, which has always been a crime under Nigerian law, which in turn inherited this from English common law of several hundred years standing. This is not the sort of thing which needs listing under a constitution, any more than does saying murder, armed robbery, rape and kidnapping are crimes. Or are you going to argue that these too are permissible because they aren't explicitly mentioned in the constitution?

It's bad enough that you've tried to reduce this indisputable act of criminality by a lawmaker to the usual mindless "APC vs PDP" nonsense, but your insistence on rationalizing physical assault suggests you go beyond being just another low-IQ political cheerleader to constituting a danger to society: no woman is safe around anyone with your mindset, not even your own sisters and other relatives, as you seem convinced your being born male bestows you with the right to assault any woman who fails to show you (what you delusionally consider to be) sufficient "respect". Like Abbo, you are a brute who deserves to be in a cage with iron bars.
May God bless you
