BusinessRe: Business Gone Wrong Please Advice. by ASL33: 11:16pm On Nov 21, 2013
oldenglish: Please I do not know which section to post this all I need is insight.

Ok am in Europe, last yr Xmas I shipped a some goods to NIGERIA and was in Nigeria myself but could not sale the goods before I left. I handed the goods over to my brother, somewhere along the line a friend/brother told my bro that he can sale them very fast and my brother gave him the goods and he demanded for the import papers so that he can take them another location without police disturbing him. All along he keep on telling me that the person that want to buy them gave him a bounced cheque, from one story to another. Now it's obvious he sold the goods and he is now in UK but refused to contact me.

Now I want to make a case with Nigerian police or Efcc for them to declare him wanted, once done I will ask them to forward a copy to British police and see if they can send him back to Nigeria to answer the case.

Please i want to know if it will work.
Is their no legal section on NL? Lawyers in the house should help. I think if police or efcc declare him wanted and inform uk police he will be back to answer the case. But also feel is extreme to do that. Have you tried to here from him. How much are you talking about here.

cos the believe that APC is a Yoruba party so the are out to support their party at the same time calling others tribalism for supporting theirs.

PoliticsRe: Lekki Roads - One Of The Many Good Legacies That Will Be Left By Fashola by ASL33: 9:42pm On Nov 16, 2013
bloggernaija: Go to google map and view a picture of Lagos from space.
Almost Every single inch of it is developed.
Done
Now Locate alimosho or ikorodu on that map

Finish?
Ok
Some sense.
More people live in either of the two LCDA than the entire akwa ibom state.
More streets , more drainages, more vehicular traffic, more vandals, more criminals etc
Where in the world do you people think money fall out from?
From the sky ?
Or from trees?
I am tired of people posting pictures of roads that do not have much vehicular traffic .
Almost like going to NY and complaining she doesn't have Disney world.

With so much materials available to study ,I cannot believe how ignorant people can be.
By the way, Lagos is pave more road than all of the states and in some cases, whole regions.
Even I,many miles across the seas, know that the Lagos state government have a scale of preference for construction/maintenance of roads.
THE MOST ECONOMICALLY IMPORTANT/ STRATEGIC FIRST.

TRANS WEST AFRICAN HIGHWAY
IKORODU EXPANSION
LAGOS METRO
EKO ATLANTIC
LEKKI FREE TRADE ZONE
LEKKI OIL AND GAS FTZ
LEKKI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
FIFTH MAINLAND BRIDGE
LAGOS -IBADAN HIGH SPEED RAIL.

the last three are still on proposal

Only a deep mind would understand the importance of these projects.
These are not groundnut project.

These are wealth creation projects .

MAYBE IF MANY UNSKILLED ECONOMIC MIGRANT FROM OTHER PLACES(including akwa ibom) HAD not migrated to Lagos in the first instance, due to oppression and corruption, incompetence and lack of priorities setting faculty on the part of the politicians ,
Just maybe that place would be a forest reserve .
People are talking of physical presence and you are referring them to google map, has fashola moved to google hype? Ungrade from media hype.

PoliticsRe: The Oil In Bayelsa Belongs To Jigawa State by ASL33: 1:28pm On Nov 16, 2013
geeez: What's wrong with what he said?

As at today, there is nothing like resource control by the federating units

He's made a valid point and he also admitted that he's not afraid if Nigeria divides but we must sit to discuss

The oil in Bayelsa belongs to Nigeria, which Jigawa is currently a part

Until this not the case, the oil in Ijawland belongs to Jigawa like he said
and Lagos belong to Yorubas Right? With this your above post Igbos are right when they say Lagos belong to them.

berem: The argument was that they were APC touts that were sent to rig the elections. Now that has been countered and cleared! They are actually election observers. What else do you want clarified? Can't you just give up? Whether they were trained in owerri or maiduguri, does it really matter? The way some of you reason eh..... I just tire! angry
You are the one reasoning like those girls in Ayilara. Their training was never gonna take place in owerri, so why are they in Owerri? Again the I'd found on them are fake, maybe INEC issue fake ID these days.
PoliticsRe: LASTMA Official Caught On Tape Collecting Bribe by ASL33: 3:59pm On Nov 15, 2013
Bribery is wrong and extortion is damned wrong. On the other hand, most of you people can't feed your dogs on the salaries of these low level policemen, let alone your family of 2 or 4. In the meantime, the funding which could have gone into better salaries for important professions as Police and Army, are being extorted and shipped abroad by your leaders, while you low lifers are left to villify yourselves, while they are vacationing in Dubai and Aruba. SMH
nobody forced them to take the job. If d salary is not enof for the family quit and start selling pure water.
PoliticsRe: Accredited Anambra Election Observers Arrested In Owerri, Imo State by ASL33: 1:52pm On Nov 15, 2013
Arrested APC urchins in an APC state. The state Gov. (APC) assigned two state vigilante to guard them but mother luck ran against them and they were apprehended. Does in doubt, how do you rationalise somebody going to Anambra for an assignment, he passed Anambra to lodge in a state after Anambra. It sounds somehow. Agains if they are accredited by INEC, INEC should go and identify them.

Btw how do you guys highlight in a quote nowadays.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Civil War Soldiers Protest In Ibadan by ASL33:
Tolexander: HUNDREDS of angry Biafran military pensioners in the country Monday besieged the Oyo State Secretariat saying they regretted fighting against Biafran soldiers to ensure the unity of the country.

They said if they had known that the country would repay them in this wicked manner, they would have fought for the survival and sovereignty of Biafra.

The retired soldiers who spoke through their Chairman, Mr. Mr. Gabriel Oiakhena said, “we have been pushed to the wall. The families of over 500,000 soldiers who lost their lives in Biafra are suffering.

We who are alive are just living as destitute. Many of us have died because they did not have money to treat and fend for themselves. Senator David Mark has spent about twelve years and he has done nothing for us.

When the militants were pushed to the wall, they took up arms and fought with the last pint of their blood”.

Also speaking on the issue, another ex-soldier, Mr. Olatunji Johnson said they came to draw the attention of Federal Government to their 53 per cent unpaid arrears and other allowances.

To prevent breakdown of law and order, all gates leading to the secretariat complex were shut against the angry pensioners.

Armoured Personnel Carrier, five police Hilux Vans and scores of armed policemen were stationed at the entrance of the secretariat.

Displaying the injuries they sustained in the Biafran War and many placards condemning the discouraging attitude of the government, they said it was unfortunate that they were being treated in this inhuman manner after fighting for the unity of the country.

He said their mission to the office of Governor Abiola Ajimobi was to present a letter on their plight to him for onward delivery to President Goddluck Jonathan.

He said, “we will not allow the government to rest until our money and other entitlements are paid. Many of us are still being paid N10,000 as monthly pension while they are wasting millions over there. It is not fair”.
THESE PROTESTERS IN IBADAN ARE IGBOS THAT FOUGHT ON NIGERIAN SIDE AGAINST BIAFRA.

WHEN THE WESTERN STATE GOVERNOR DECLARED A ROUND UP OF ALL IGBOS TO SEND BACK EAST TO AVOID THEIR MASSACRE ON YORUBALAND, SOME REFUSED TO LEAVE AND CHOOSED TO STAY BEHIND.

YORUBA WAS A NEUTRAL GROUND UNTIL OJUKWU FVKD UP AND MARCHED WITH BOOTS AND GUN INTO ORE, THAT'S WHEN YORUBA ROSE IN DEFENSE.

THESE OLD SOLDIERS WERE THOSE IGBOS THAT STAYED BEHIND. THEY FOUGHT AGAINST BIAFRA.
Mr Olatunji Johnson is now An Igbo Man. Yorubas in denial all the time.
