PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Fines Afe Babalola, Olanipekun N60 Million by asobo: 7:59pm On Feb 26, 2020
babaolofin:
One day, Nigeria must come to an end. When Afe Babalola started Law practice, Justice Amina should be in Primary School or just entering Secondary School. The integrity of Judiciary must be protected, but where there is no integrity in Judicial process, anarchy comes to play. The major difference in the conduct of human beings and that of animals is the rule of law but where the law becomes partial, human beings become animals and the nation becomes animal kingdom. There is no difference between Nigeria and Animal kingdom. I will never vote again. Many have lost faith in the nation called Nigeria. Many have lost faith in the judiciary that is why people take vengeance into their hand and hire killers and kidnapping are on the increase.

Judiciary my foot. Last week Thursday evening, I was at the arrival wing of MM2 when Ganduje arrived Lagos. We were contemplating he came for an important meeting on the Political situation of the nation. Some people were discussing the postponement of the IMO case by the Judiciary and the foundation problem in Bayelsa and the Zamfara.A regimental person who is also a learned fellow raised the issue of the integrity of the judiciary to be protected and the involvement of Chief Afe Babalola and Wole Olanipekun in the case.

After over 50 years in the bar and after 80 years of age, the so called judge can teach Afe Babalola again. I am very delighted some weeks ago to read an article of Chief Afe Babalola on Amotekun in the South West. We have lost faith and hope in the Police to defend us, hence the need for our own survival mechanism which nobody can stop. I am sure majority of Bayelsa and Imo people have seen the Judiciary, the way it is in Nigeria. There is no need of keeping faith with this nation again.
What are you trying to say? So Afe Babalola is the most knowledgeable lawyer now in Nigeria abi. Please behave yourself

He will vomit it from anywhere.

He brought it for review last year July, the panel headed by Rhodes-vivour dismissed for incomplete filing and the fact that the SC cannot sit on its own judgement except for clear clerical errors.

The man still brought it again, what is he looking for?

He will pay a heavy fine.
My brother, I hope you don't have anything against Robert Clark.

cool

APC would win the review and Diri would be out of senate, and lose out as a Governor there by creating a golden chance for a senatorial election to fill in Diri's seat at the senate with qualified APC man.. last last they just want Diri out of the senate

Wole Olanipekun SAN wouldn't take a case he isn't 99% sure of winning at this stage of his career, I wish Diri goodluck on his sudden retirement from politics

.
Go check Abia and Akwa Ibom 2015 elections were Chief Wole lost out in one of the states then get back to me.

Iamgrey5:
State the electoral act that supports the removal of an elected governor because his deputy wss disqualified?

Yes, it does because the Appeal court already passed a judgement in favour of the APC before the election.

Uncle lawyer, section 36 deals with the death of candidate before election result is announced not fraud related issues.

Please state the laws that backed the removal of the governor because his deputy was found to have presented a fake or misleading document.

And Sir, the Appeal at the supreme court only came after the election

I hope you understand that the Judges made a technical error not referring the case to the special court for election matters ( Tribunal) ?
Oga lawyer the case was already instituted before the election which makes it a pre election matter. I hope you are also aware that this same certificate forgery case was brought before the tribunal challenging his senatorial elections but it was dismissed at the tribunal and appeal court because it was a pre election matter not post election. Digest the two scenarios. Have a nice day.

This useless party againhuh I don't know why they are just selfish and self centered.... Maybe that odili of a judge should step aside for the bayelsa and zamfara case review...

If it favour them, the court has resist intimidation from FG and Buhari and truly, the court is the last hope of common man.

Immediately it goes against them, the EU, Trump, AU, everybody will be called upon to look at how PMB has pocket the judiciary, bow Tanko is the worst CJN to have to happened to the system.....

They will never commend or appreciate PMB for once.... You try this shit during OBJ or GEJ tenure say you get court case against his party and you remove the governor con put the rival, OBJ I know will just laugh you... And you know the rest....

Me, I will never believe once that PMB influences any court cases....

There should be a punishment for INEC and its staff for stupidity and wasting of State resources for not doing due diligence on candidates seeking for elective offices.
All political parties normally have a screening committee to screen various candidates. What happened to that of the so called progressives? I think Garfield has answer to it.

Buh d man is a dubious politician, only him wit different names right frm his primary skul days.
No doubt Bayelsan's overwhelmly voted for APC but their disregard for rule of law and layed down procedure of doing things cost them Bayelsa. The supposedly deputy governor still remains a senator with David Lyon left all alone. Come to think of it that he won the best governor award weeks ago.

My bro calm down. Dnt b carried away. APC government were actually behind dis cos dey needed to regain d trust of d pple after wat happnd in Imo..Dnt b deceived. Its such a pity dat Lion abi wetin b him name had to b d scape goat.
It has nothing to do with APC not with an oil producing state. It is a well known fact that the APC deputy governor has been using a relations certificate within the Bayelsa political space. The same issue came up in the tribunal challenging his election victory as a senator but it was dismissed because it was a pre-electoral matter which the tribunal doesn't have the jurisdiction to entertain. PDP now filed another case about the same certificate forgery before the governorship election. I need not remind you that a high court earlier disqualified the APC but the requested for an injunction/ stay of execution because it was few weeks to election which the Appeal court entertained.

In fact, let be sincere Our Judiciary is the latest enemy of Democracy this is because, they ruled against Lyon since the ticket is joint ticket. But my questions are; 1. Why Supreme Court Judged against Faleke then? Since Abubakar Audu and Faleke are Governor and Deputy Governor candidates of APC in kogi state 2015 election with joint ticket. 2. Why INEC conduct fresh election in Bauchi when Adamu Mu'azu Deputy was disqualified after the general election that, the Deputy not qualified for the post? 3. Why INEC removed the votes casted for the APC since the electoral rule recognized candidates and the party. I could remember Amechi was not feed as PDP candidate in year 2007 general election but he was given the mandate by Supreme court that, Amechi was right candidate of PDP and Supreme Court said, we are voting for the parties not candidates.
Take your protest to the supreme court for a review of the case.

Douye Diri was imposed on the Bayelsa people against the popular wish of people by a reknown PDP jury.

Now Secundo will keep quiet because according to him it's justice for democracy.
Was it PDP that screened APC gubernatorial candidates. The court will continue to show APC how to abide by the rule of law. Cry me a river

NB: I don't support of daylight robbery in imo, Supreme Court is setting a bad precedence where by people were no longer the voice of democracy but the court,it is quite disheartened.
You are writing gibberish man. If APC can't behave democratically, the court will continue to teach them how to get it right. Stop being sympathetic to what is not.
