PoliticsRe: Lagos Begins E-registration by asorocker: 4:15am On Jun 30, 2011
The E registration will be a very wonderful project but what happened to the national I'd project that was aborted by OBJ that would have been better.

If the project is skewed to edge igbos out of lagos like someone suggested then the following will likely follow up, the passing of a bill in the national assembly for the New commercial capital of Nigeria in kogi state or calabar , which will be followed up by another bill that will compel all the Oil companies headquaters and the federal parastatals like CBN , NNPC , NPA e.t.c to relocate their headquarters to the new commercial capital , then Lagos will finally be a yoruba city.
BusinessRe: North’ll Kill Petroleum Industrial Bill-ex-minority Leader by asorocker: 12:15pm On Jun 23, 2011
The east killed civil rule through coup of 66 , the west killed merit through tribal politics, the north and the west killed Nigeria Airways , NITEL , NEPA ,
The East (ss and se) killed the banking industry. The sw killed hardwork through senseless looting, now the north wants to kill PIB and by defaul Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: H.i.d Awolowo To Convene First Yoruba Unity Confab Today by asorocker: 11:00am On Jun 23, 2011
Yorubas have been assemblying like this since the 60s , it is was in one of such fora that they came up with the slogan "if by ommission or commission" and also Operation totality was birthed in that kind of meeting.
The question is now that the north west has usurped by force a post zoned to them what can they really do?
1. They can't seccede because they don't have the military or militant might for such, moreover they like hausa can survive independently.
2.They cannot fight the north west because reasons in nos 1.

2 things they will probaly do is pretend they don't need the post of speaker or look for an opportunity to allign with the north to vent their spleen on GEJ or the SS or SE who look very vunerable .
PoliticsRe: 2 Soldiers, 18 Others Killed In Tiv/fulani Renewed Clash by asorocker: 10:47am On Jun 22, 2011
Surprisingly it is the same Tiv who have often boasted of their civil war exploits and how they will spill the last drop of their blood to keep Nigeria one but cannot spill a pint of sweat to keep their people safe.

I keep wondering wether this mouth disease is only afflicting the yorubas or is afflicting other MB tribes.

People who claimed their leaders were killed in 1966 are now being killed by their leaders in 2011
PoliticsRe: Mr Gej, Your Security Team Is Inept. Nigeria Today Is Like Nigeria In 1966 by asorocker: 10:39am On Jun 22, 2011
Sir please redirect your grievances elsewhere GEJ or the army is not to be blamed, soldiers have been killed from niger delta to Borno.

They are human beings too and are prone to death. My big Question is what are TIVs doing to protect their home stead , these are people who have often mouthed how they fought with the last drop of their blood in the civil war to keep nigeria one.
The tivs unlike the Biroms are not living upto expectation.

As for the fulanis their time is coming soon , the day they will make the mistake and strike the wrong tribe will mark the beginning of the end for fulani and for nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Go Beserk, Beat Abtu Dep Registrar, Wife by asorocker: 3:58pm On Jun 20, 2011
Am so proud of Nigerian Army, their only achievement is to chance defenceless citizens and kill unarmed police men.

Watch how Boko Haram is having its way in the north, the militants in the south and the only thing soldiers do is to aid one side in jos crisis , shoot at women and unijos students and chance tax payers.
PoliticsRe: Reducing The Population Pressure On Lagos by asorocker: 9:38pm On Jun 19, 2011
I don't know why this keeps coming up when people know the truth and refuse to tell the truth.

Lagos is hosting all the oil company headquaters in nigeria, some upstream oil companies like saipem, chevron, mobil, total, shell and sapetro is in lagos. Even when there is no oil company in lagos and lagos is not the capital of nigeria.

If this oil companies can relocate to the niger delta then lagos will be correctly populated.
Anyother solution will never work and will amount to using oxygen to put off a burning flame.if you build infrastructure like road and schools , it will attract more people .
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by asorocker: 5:55pm On Jun 16, 2011
Fools , after 41 years you are now being forced to eat the humble pie of ABURI
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by asorocker: 12:56pm On Jun 16, 2011
Weeks back same police was busy harrassing unarmed MASSOB members.

I hope GEJ doesn't end up like IRONSI, this is coming at a time the north west over maneuvered their party to get the speakership position initially zoned to the west and Obasanjo this morning passed a vote of no confidence in GEJ ( when the vultures circle you know there is a carcass in the waiting.)

If the bomb blast is not from MEND but BokoHaram then nigeria could be on its way to the mother of all civil wars.

You know what, the SS and SE and MB should start closing Ranks for any miscalculation by the Core North.
PoliticsRe: Who Kill Mko Abiola by asorocker: 10:21pm On Jun 12, 2011
Abiola killed him self or he died of liver failure.
The same thing that happened to him happened allasane ouattara of ivory coast, today ouattara not only has the seat of power he has Gbagbo under lock and key.
PoliticsRe: Should Ojukwu Apologise For The Civil War? by asorocker: 6:04pm On Jun 12, 2011
I keep wondering how the brains of Nigerians works sometime little wonder nothing works in the country .
Is it now a crime to pull a country out of another country. John garang successfully liberated southern sudan from sudan, arafat did that for the palestines.
Eventhough I don't absovle Ojukwo of blames but I keep wondering how some posters have forgotten about the present state of the country and the events that preceded the first coup and are busy blaiming an individual for wanting to do what the whole western world supported john garang to do for southern sudan
PoliticsRe: To Save Nigeria: The Revolutionary Coup And The Civil War by asorocker: 11:31am On Jun 12, 2011
The coup was carried out by mostly igbos and a few yorubas but was stopped by igbos.

The igbos alone suffered the consequences of doing the coup in the civil war.

The coup by the north produced casualties of igbos and a few yorubas and was done only in the south west and not in SS or SE.

From the above , igbos don't need to go it again with yorubas if any need arises.
The igbos need to consolidate aliance with the SS despite that the fought against igbos.
The probability of another war cannot be ruled out judging from the events in plateau, benue, bauchi and borno .

The death to zoning caused by yorubas is to deny power to igbos in 2015 and an end to zoning will lead nigeria into another civil war.

My advice to igbos , know your real and apparent enemies.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Vs Awo: Who Did Not See This Coming ? by asorocker: 12:27pm On Jun 11, 2011
Sometimes I keep wondering how a people who say that they are educated and enlightened can foolishly line up and hand over their destiny to one man , whose only achievement is that his predecessor is busy planting grasses and flowers under some lagos bridges.

Doesn't ordinary primary 6 pupil know that he or she needs to have a plan B.
Tinubu for sure is going to be much deadlier than Awolowo and probably defter than Abiola, I heard he owns half of ibeju lekki.

However the nigerians that were backstabbed and betrayed are now smarter and more experienced.

Anyway like u said let's keep watching this latest on African Magic
PoliticsRe: Is the South-East Still Paying For Civil War? Balarabe Musa thinks so by asorocker: 7:28pm On Jun 10, 2011
Really from my research the only way igbos could be marginalised is the distribution of oil wells to individuals and retired generals.

Yes igbos sell spare parts and do trading all over the country. The hausa fulani make suya , shine shoes and butcher meat all over the country , the yorubas are taxi driver and mechanic all over the country , while some south south people do house help work and okada business .
So whose tribes occupation is more dignifying. As is selling suya is better than selling spare parts.
By the way it is time igbos stepped up their game and rather than sell parts go into something the befits their accomplishment. How can some graduate sell parts.
PoliticsRe: Is the South-East Still Paying For Civil War? Balarabe Musa thinks so by asorocker: 5:31pm On Jun 10, 2011
Paying the price of the civil war to who, to yorubas ? Who are going to spend the next 4 years in Nigeria's political wilderness or the hausa fulani who were roundly defeated in the 2011 election by the alliance of SE, SS and NC.

Igbos don't need to allow people to force that victim mentality on them again, the igbos are now a factor in nigeria's power play.
If igbos didn't support GEJ would he have won ?.

B Musa should focus on the north , who aren't a force wreckon with educationally or economically . Their military force is a spent force and can only victimise innocent jos people.
PoliticsRe: The Verdict By Olusegun Adeniyi Is Back: Days Of The Cabal 1 by asorocker: 1:37am On Jun 10, 2011
I am not suprised by this write up and particularly the timing of its publication. Why is it being published at a time that most official positions are vacant .

Notice how the so called power brokers have been broken, Dangote and Otedola are on each others throat. Ribadu eventually helped to nail Ibori , who is serving a life sentence. Andy Uba ended up as the first elected Governor to be booted out of office after 14 days in office.
Apart from Bukola saraki and Dangote the rest are no where.
PoliticsRe: Most Shameless Nigerian Leader by asorocker: 8:30pm On May 30, 2011
Somebody mentioned Ojuku, I thought he was a regional leader.

Comparing OBJ and IBB , the worst leader will still go to OBJ . Sometimes I wonder why people can't see very well. OBJ ruled as a military man an was given a second chance in live and he ended up squandering that goodwill.

He slep with his daughter in law,  wasted over $16 billion on a white elephant project , spent more time impeaching senate presidents and removing party chairman than any other president.
Increased fuel price from 70k to = N= 70. And never for once allowed the economy to work, sold the economy to his cronies, instigated the impeachment of Govs who were not his supporters, still intimidated the Govs with EFCC.
OBJ used God's name to deceive christians that he was seeking God's face for re election.

OBJ is followed by Abacha then IBB and abdulsalami.
PoliticsRe: Aljazeera Airs A Heartbreaking Program About Lagos(25 May 2011 -Video) by asorocker: 9:41am On May 25, 2011
Even though I don support Aljazeera and its media war but on a second though which country in the world will have its military men wake up one morning and massacre soldiers on the excuse that 1 soldier was killed while smuggling goods.

Which oil and gas power gives its citizens less than 5 hours of electricity in a day.

Aljazeera may be wrong in their approach however their message might have some truth in it.
PoliticsRe: The Midnight Crusaders Strike Again by asorocker: 7:04am On May 25, 2011
An encounter between Fulanis and Igbos of SE will produce reverberations across the Globe.

The Tiv and other middle belters have been leaving and tolerating the dominance of Fulanis for a very long time . They know where these fulanis live in the forest but don't have the will power to face them headlong .

However Igbos are not as laid back as the middle belters , the last influencial ruler of the fulanis was killed by 27 year old igbo boy from Asaba (Nzeogwu C.K). And igbos are natural head hunters.
The likes of Osisikankwu and his gang or even the original Bakkassi boys would have been of much benefit in this kind of encounter.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 10:42am On May 24, 2011
@ iyasah if it is igbos you are referring to , igbos are everywhere in large numbers just like indians and chinese and not just in lagos.
There is a ver large igbo community in cameroun , gabon , Accra , I vory coast , liberia andbeyond africa.

Don't just think igbos singled out lagos to come and cohabit with yorubas . This tribe do business all over the world.
In a single flight to china , a friend of mine told me that half of the plane was filled with igbos.

Lagos is not their first or last bus stop.

I never knew that time and economist magazines that are older than nigeria is owned by yorubas.

As at the last check in Abuja , yorubas are not even controlling taxi business because northerner are now into it .
Interstate transport to osun, oshogbo, ibadan may be controlled by some few yorubas but the poin it this. Fashola average perfomance is being over glorified by yorubas. Not even northerners praise FCT minister for the beauty and Ambience of Abuja.
If Abuja was in yoruba land , we would have been riled with pages of nairaland telling us how ACN. And tinubu's puppet has transformed abuja into glory land and how the minister of Abuja or Mayor should become the president of Nigeria
PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 10:24am On May 24, 2011
@ poster , if fashola stooped to be governor of lagos then what stops him from stooping , even OBJ stooped for Atiku for his second term , when he refused to stoop again he was denied third term.

The problem with most yorubas is that they don't travel beyond the southwest and some don't go beyond lagos .
So when you tell them that some other governors are doing better than their 1 eye king (fashola) they don't believe you , they think you hate them.

@ Gbawe.  You talked about plans for an internatinal Airport . Delta and Aibom has already delivered theirs.

You talked about a monorail being constructed in badagry, as at last weekend I only saw buildings along badagry express way demolished around 2007 and nothing else , Rivers monorail is 80% complete and calabar mono rail is 100 % complete .

You talked about plans for a new badagry , even rogue governors had plans , ask ikedi ohakim and Orji.

Did I hear you talk about 10 lane highway in lagos , please tell me where it is and I will test run , snap and upload pics.

Please tell me let me see for my self
PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 9:38am On May 24, 2011
Even if he did not reject or was interested, there won't be much changes in the out come.

As per the future of SE and SS, I won't waste much time trying to convince NL where the future of nigeria lies or whether the River niger dredging or the deep sea port in Akwa ibom will be a reality.

Behind the tactfull emergence of GEJ and the entire Eastern support for him lies some deep secret alliance and agreement. Ever wondered why igbos would sacrifice 2015 and why MASSOB even surported GEJ and the igbo elders are contented with SGF.

Well like you said let's watch and see 2015

Who really is doing well, the person who plants grasses under bridges or the person who builds world class mono rails, IPP, refineries , world class international airports e.t.c

Amaechi gets bulk of his capital from oil revenues but also fashola gets oil revenue and the bulk of his capital from Multibillion naira coporation that were sited in lagos . Like the oil companies ( that should have been in niger delta) , the banks that should have been in the new capital but was prevailed by OBJ to stay back, the telecommunication companies e.t.c
Non of these comanies where founded or nurtured by a,cn or yorubas but. Came to serve the entire country and had to settle in the then capital lagos
