PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 9:14am On May 24, 2011
The people flocking to lagos do so because the fed govt in their cleverness built and equipped the only recognized international airport in lagos, they also built the only deep sea port in lagos, how do they expect people to do their import and export business except in lagos.

How ever as new international airports are coming up every where and as the niger delta is set to get their first deep sea port all that is likely to change by 2015 .

Also the oil companies should relocate to the source of their raw materials
PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 9:06am On May 24, 2011
@ reindeer A cN did not build lagos state , infact no until 1979 did we start having elected yorubas adminstering lagos for 5 years . Lagos has been administered more by northerners than yorubas. They formed the bulk of minister for lagos affairs , military governors and even built most of the structures like estates (vi,festac , satelite ) and bridges 3rd mainland.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by asorocker: 8:57am On May 24, 2011
The choice of GEJ is strategic , first Amechi is from the nigerdelat 2nd he is an igbo, third he is a PDP man 4th he is in a very rich state and can mobilise resources for lobbying reps and senators.

Amechi will play a very big roll in what happens in 2015.

For those vaunting fashola, Fashola is not a pdp member and his fate won't be brighter than that of Donald Duke.

Again what really has Fashola done beyond planting trees , flowers and grasses under some lagos bridges.

This is reminiscent of somebody who paints an old structure and is being recognised more than the person who built the structure.

NL should please recognize those who have built refineries , airports, IPP, people like Akpabio , Amechi,Uduaghan, not those who everyday keeps ranting how the will do this and that and gets more recogniton for planting trees.

Nigerians and their way of reasoning, how come the imf boss story wasn't moved to romance section.

How come these things go unchecked in Nigeria and get punished in the western world.
PoliticsRe: Mass Defection From PDP Looms In South-East Over Zoning by asorocker: 8:02am On May 16, 2011
We hope this zoning issue will not depreciate into another 1964 crisis that will lead to state or emergencies , coups and countercoups.
Watch how this man OBJ ( the 1st Head of state to embezzle money and probably the last to do so) forced his incompetent daughter on ogun state .

If he succeeds with the speakership issue , next he will seek to force his daughter on GEJ as a grade A minister , when you ask him why he is doing he will tell you that he fought for the country's unity .

If he fought for th country's unity then let him emulate Gowon.

The yorubas can never taste aso rock even in the next 10 years , even if the hausa / fulani seccede.

Nigeria might be awkward but nigeria is defnitely not OBj's private property.

PoliticsRe: Mass Defection From PDP Looms In South-East Over Zoning by asorocker: 2:55pm On May 15, 2011
GEJ effect is begining to manifest , I see a very weak leader who will not do much but be listening to others like OBJ and Danjuma.

How on earth can the head of Judiciary katsina Alu and the head of Parliament David mark come from 1 state ( benue state)

How again can the speakership come from a region completetly controlled by the opposition.

This was the same thing Obj tried in ogun and ogun was eventually won by A CN .

The north might eventually produce the speaker and few months into GEJ regime , the wost will happen , he will be served and impeachment notice with his vice and the senate president will take over.

Eigther way GEJ has started with the wrong footing. Let's see how many steps he can take with it.

Goodmorning igbos.
PoliticsRe: Oyo, Imo, Ogun, Others Lead In Armed Robbery In Nigeria. by asorocker: 3:09pm On May 14, 2011
The statistics is mind boggling, but the should have included the guys up north who start a religous violence and end up breaking shops and looting peoples wares.

Also the stats who while crime is decreasing in commercial city state like lagos and abia , the crime is moving up elsehwhere.

Add militancy and kiddpnapping you end up with a more complex graph .

Congrats South west for setting the pace in armed robbery , rape and ritual killing.
PoliticsRe: Orji Kalu's Powerful Analysis (Ezeuche was right) by asorocker: 10:57am On May 14, 2011
Please beware of OUK (orji uzor kalu)
What legacies did he leave in Abia.
Someone that made his mother a Goddess.

As for igbos , be patient with GEJ,
An internatinal Airport and a regional gas hub is better than the post of a speaker. Because it will impact on the average igbo.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Drops In World Economic Index by asorocker: 10:33am On May 14, 2011
Why blame Aganga, how about good for nothing CBN governor whose only achievement was to discredit the work of his predecessor , uptill now he has not managed to do anything new in the banking sector he keeps promising that banks will be sold , where as the 9 banks do not loan any money they just keep servicing over heads,

GEJ should bring back those who made the economic index grow during OBJ tenure if he wants to make any economic headway by 2015.
PoliticsRe: The New Zoning Reality by asorocker: 7:04pm On May 12, 2011
GEJ has a history similar to Gowon , both are minorities who came to power thru concensus , both replaced dead head of state .

Just the same way Gowon could not solve nigerias problem GEJ might end up wasting the goodwill he has been given .GEJ could be in hyphoric state until 2013 when he will realize he had not placated those on whose back he rose to the presidency and he hadn't solved the nations power and job problem that's when desperation will set in and he will be begging for a 3rd term.

As for igbos, the best they can do if they aren't given a grade A ministerial posts or grade A project is to count their loss and move on.

Nigerian project has defied logic and personally speaking I have seized expecting much from nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu International Airport by asorocker: 9:00pm On May 07, 2011
Of all projects to embark on it is an international airport. It smacks of lack of sense of direction .

PoliticsRe: I stand Corrected. . . by asorocker: 9:58pm On May 04, 2011
Actually some igbo gals are a big disgrace to womankind , but the north is not better off , as we speak there teen gals between 12 and 18 years doing prostitution in Maiduguri.

Also kaduna and kano is the Mecca of homosexuality in the world.

I have seen hotels in the north where men hustle for men the same way igbo gals hustle for men.

So which is better , homo or ashawo.
PoliticsRe: I stand Corrected. . . by asorocker: 9:50pm On May 04, 2011
Actually judging from the vantage position the south west has occupied since nigeria started , the south west is not doing well at all.

The south west produced deputy heads of state ; awolowo, obasanjo, Diya,
The south west produced 3 heads of state , Obasanjo , shonekan and Obasanjo.

The South east produce only 2 vice presidents, Ekwueme and Ukiwe and 1 head of state , ironsi.

So the south west is still ahead of the south east in terms of leadership.

The problem with the SW is that despite this vantage position they occupied, the less priviledged SE has overtaken .

Take for instance the yoruba men Obasanjo during his 2 terms forced to be billionaires, Abiola's empire has crashed beyond repair.
Where as new generation people billionaires OBj made, couldn't sustain the wealth their new found wealth, notice how Otedola is almost broke , Jimoh ibrahim has fizzled out and is infact trying to contest for governorship position, mike Adenuga who was rumored at a time to be richer than the entire south east couldn't even consolidate his ETB bank.
NYSCRe: List Of Corp Members Killed In Bauchi As Released By Nysc by asorocker: 10:52am On Apr 30, 2011
Yorubas whinned , cried, lamented when 3. Yorubas were killed in jos by hausa/fulani people.

So if one person being killed doesn't make meaning, why not kill an american, jew, japanese and find out how important countries treasure human lives.

The number of people who died between by hausa/fulani murderers are now more than the number of people killed through civil wars all over africa.

Consider how these people slaughtered women and children in jos ( another man's land) how they have been bombing churches for a year now , how they invaded benue land, the thousands slaughtered in kaduna e.t.c

I keep saying this yorubas should back out of this at worst be neutral in this matter , their help is not needed.
Your antecedents speak for you, if Allasane Ouattara was a yoruba he would probably be in jail like MKO, you people have no biz in this impending war.
PoliticsRe: Arrest Northern Leaders Now Or We Attack Hausas-militants by asorocker: 8:03am On Apr 30, 2011
Some posts here sound funny, I have lived all over nigeria and have this to say. The mend boys are a thousand times richer and smarter than the boko haram boys , in the event of both meeting in a battle field your guess is as good as mine.

Well boko haram has been goin around bombing churches and military and police barracks. Mend will likely reply by bombing mosques during friday jumat and bombing places hausa/fulani live in large numbers.
This is a great  build up to 2015 if your remember what the core north did to benue , plateau and southern kaduna people then you can tell that the middle belt will eigther be neutral or back the ss .

Mind you posters there are igbos in SS, remembering how militancy and kidnapping got out of hand when igbos got involved , my mind tells me igbo involvement is the last straw.
I wonder how the core  north will escape this impending doom.
9 states VS 18 states of SS , SE, MB,

Hausa/fulani vs igbos, Nigerdelta and middlebelters. The clouds are already gathering and very soon the storm will be let loose.

It is left for the hausa/fulani to bow miltarily before the war games start just the way the bowed (politically) to PDP even when southern corpers and christians left their core north.

They still voted PDP instead of CPC even after corpers and christian left the north. They should also submit militarily before the first shot is fired by mend and is echoed through middlebetl and south east.
PoliticsRe: How Igbos Raise To Political Importance by asorocker: 5:35am On Apr 29, 2011
GEJ does not need to come out and deliberately favour SE and SS , if he is playing a fair and equitable game , the SS and SE will naturally be favoured above any other Region.

Who is benefitting from the refineries and NEPA not working.
The major oil marketer like AP, conoil, oando, MRS e.t.c and who are the owners of these companies and where are they from, who sold it to them ?

Who benefits most from the highly fraudulent census and underage voters registration , your guess is as good as mine.

Who will will benefit most if the university system improves drastically and their will be jobs for all graduates. If you check your data you will find out.

Who will benefit more from the PIB .

Who will benefit more from equitable distribution of federal infrastructure like road construction, FHA projects international airports .

Who will benefit more if the river niger is dredged from warri to baro in nigerstate.

Who will benefit more if the land use act is scrapped and every body is entiled to full ownership of his land.

Who will benefit more if there is constant power supply .

Who will benefit if a deep sea port is buil in SS either by a private or public fund .

Even if their is resource control , who benefits more
PoliticsRe: Southwest Rocks! by asorocker: 8:38pm On Apr 27, 2011
The biggest loosers in this election is the core  north  who finally capitulated to the nee ruling alliance of SS, SE and MB .
The core north is no more a political super power and they are not an economic force.
If they confinue their bombing , they will shrink to a pariah state.

The biggest beneficiary is the SS who by providence are now emerging Nigerias Economic, political and military (militant power). Depending on how deft they are in the driving seat of Aso rock will determine how they will maneuver 2015 .
The SS has 5 international airports, the new petroleum/ gas empire will be built in the SS.

The truth about the MB is that this is their opportunity to free themselves from the yoke of the core north politically and economically.
If they can leverage on their support of GEJ they can finally break the bonds of Ahmadu bello.

I don't really know where to place the SE because igbos are both in SE and SS but depending on their bargaining power they might emerge as a new power block now that the core north is deflated. The east has to go to the drawing board now that ovation is loudest.

For the SW, really it is premature to start throwing party when you are now under emperror Tinubu. You are now a regional empire. No longer in the national power circle. Lagos your economic hub is gradually being over taken by SS ( the 5 stars of niger delta, bayelsa, rivers , delta, A ibom whose GDP surpasses all of SW).
You are back to where you were in 1960 and 1979 where really can that take you.

Aside planting of flowers and grasses under some notable bridges and fly overs and making attemp to de silt drainages , is there anything else fashola has done.

Are people voting him because lagosians love him or based on his performance , performance wise records of people like Amaechi , Gov of Akwaibom has to be looked , I.e if zoning is actually dead.
PoliticsRe: Kano Is On Fire by asorocker: 4:19pm On Apr 26, 2011
Very interesting posts indeed. So the corpers that were murdered took bribes. Why thn were churches burnt and pastors of coccin and ECWA killed , may be their pastors took bribe too to pray for GEJ , how about the business men and women who had their business destroyed and looted .

You talked about Abiola's death , abiola death sparked riot and rapes and not killing of innocent people and even in that case was Buhari killed to have necessitated the murder of innocent harmless people.

The truth be told , the killing is unwaranted , ungodly and a provocation.

When a cartoon was drawn about mohammed in norway , how come northern muslims did not reveng by burning and killing norwegians in their embassy in Abuja, instead they went about killing nyamiri and christians in the north.

Congrats hausa/fulanis
PoliticsRe: Arrest Me If You Can, Buhari Dares Jonathan <Misleading> by asorocker: 7:42am On Apr 26, 2011
If some body by his comments incites violence then the person should be arrested . If Buhari incites violence , then he should be arrested, some people were arrested for calling for a dismemberment of the country .

Awolowo was arrested in 1965 for doing the same thing.

If buhari incites violence , he will be arrested and if the north east and north west become restive a state of emergency will be declared over those states with miltary administrators ruling those state under martial law.
Then what will the almajiri and the north do.

Declare war you may say. But remember biafra and what is happening in ivory coast and you will think again.

A serving president of a country was arrested by soldiers in his bedroom and his wife abused by soldiers , who then is buhari compared to Gbagbo
PoliticsRe: Arrest Me If You Can, Buhari Dares Jonathan <Misleading> by asorocker: 7:03am On Apr 26, 2011
I keep hearing some people whom I term revisionist historians , telling us how their little world will tear apart if Buhari is arrested.
First buhari is a man I highly respect but if Hosni Mubarak could be arrested and Sadam hussein could be arrested and excuted while the western world is planning for Ghadaffy then who is buhari.

A former head state in nigeria OBJ once went to jail .

A little while ago the reverred Ahmadu bello was killed by a little boy 27 year old CK nzeogwu ( NYSC age) is buhari greater or more reverred than Ahmadu Bello people should learn from history and stop making claims that they cannot substantiate.
NYSCRe: Petition To Withdraw Youth Corpers From Violent Northern Nigerian States. by asorocker: 3:29pm On Apr 23, 2011
Peeps what if NYSC is restructured , with people choosing to opt out of service when the don't feel like serving. And some states where corpers having killed sanctioned and made to pay heavy fines for each dead corper ( about 20 M) pfizer is paying 7M for each kano baby they used for test.

The money will go to the late corpers family.

States like bauchi has nothing to offer nigeria in anyway way , they aren't a mineral rich state or a food basket or an oil rich state or a state rich in man power .

The FG should device a way of dealing with such trouble making parasitic state by using part of their fed Allocation to compensate people the willing killed by deducting it from source.
PoliticsRe: The Igbo Laughing Thread Hahaha by asorocker: 4:14am On Apr 18, 2011
Igbos are now the defacto king makers in Nigeria now .

An Igbo/ijaw alliance has dethroned the hausa/fulani alliance . Nigeria is not going to be the same again. Very soon the power levers will be redrawn and re arranged to reflect the new power structure .

The end of the fulani and hausa hegemony has finally come.

The north will be defnitely given the ivory coast treatment , where is France and NATO.

The igbos in the north should be mobilising , the North is finally going to make a mistake of a lifetime.

This will be the easiest war of the decade , let nobody's heart fail him , the north has nothing in terms of human resource or manpower and their population is hyper inflated by a power of 3 to 4 in some states
