True statesman International recognition he is getting is more rewarding as he is more known across the continent now. Wisdom is the word. President GEJ has shown that selflessness is better than selfishness. He admitted the defeat in election with his head high, the whole world thanked him for being a peaceful fellow. I know very well that some people will never accept defeat, instead they will kill innocent people like they killed many innocent NYSC members in 2011. President GEJ is not a perfect human, nobody is, but he was closer to the youth of this country. Many sycophants around him gave him wrong advices and betrayed him, including some MOG. God have other plans for President GEJ, now he is an international figure, as far as peaceful electioneering, governance and world politics is concerned. Well done GEJ, they called you "clueless" and promised "change". BH is still there, they promised to eradicate BH in two months, N5, 000 monthly allowance for the unemployed youths is still a story, dollars has risen, we are in the era of paying fines now, which investors will invest in a fine prone country ,we have not seen a single primary school pupils feed once, let alone twice, where is our Naira, is always falling against the dollars, what about our roads, very terrible. |
After the arrest, what next? Tomorrow he is the court, the next day he was found innocent, not guilty. Then he will be released. |
Congratulations Nigeria. I can't understand why some Nigerians wished that Nigeria will lose to Mali, even to the extent of posting it online. Too bad. Now we are celebrating, but some are not happy because their candidates didn't make the team. Special thanks to Coach Amunike for ignoring those "players with Godfathers". Godfatherism should be avoided in our country for national interest and growth. |
What I coincidence? I saw one of their publication hung on the gate today. I enjoyed reading "Awake" |
Interesting |
Ok |
The government is not taking kidnapping seriously. Kidnappers should face firing squad when caught, but they leave them after one week or two. |
Is Olusosun now part of Oregun? No condition is permanent. A tale of success has many friends. |
Congratulations Nice one . |
The first thing is to sit down with your spouse and talk about it very well and decide . Not a one man decision or something you just rush over. You got to sit, look at it critically, pray, seek divine understanding and then decide. Many factors are involved like: 1. The country in question, some countries allow that legally married couples to come along if the spouse show enough financial strength to foot the expenses that will arise in the trip. 2.The type of program involved, is it a graduate program, masters or Phd? 3.No 2 above , take us to look at the duration of the study. 4.The prospects after the scholarship program. 5.Can the spouse travel along? If no, can there be agreement on visits? 6. Can the scholarship be deferred to the following year? 7. Is the other spouse working or not, as in will she be able to financially foot the bills while the other spouse is in school? Having said that, then I think if it is MBA program that will take 2years to complete, Phd that will take 3 to 4 years or more, then spouse should just pack his or her bag and follow. If the duration is like a year, a conclusion can be reached. |
Well done Paul.... We want more of this from our celebrities, showing off expendive brand new cars, good clothes, shoes, wrist watches, etc are good, but can't be compared to positively touching the lives of the less privilege ones in the society. Blessed is the hand that giveth... |
There are many churches in residential areas across Nigeria. The whole thing is just confusing. Many churches in residential areas, no adequate space for the church, the keep buying more old factories or buying giant edifice within areas of resident. Church should be built in a big area of land, with big spare land left for future development. They should have space for children church. Big car parks Halls Even Pastor house etc within their premises. Church building is a serious matter, it is not enough just to buy land and build church anywhere. But what you find is, people rent a room store as church, hotels as church, rented residential apartments as church, primary school as church on sundays etc. |
We are in the era of paying fine. By when will government agencies, commissions, ministries etc not meeting up to public expectations start paying their own fines? Most of us know that many of them are way behind in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, good tim management, good leadership skills, training and development, recruitment process, etc. |

That list is incomplete. Year 2000 new millennium isn't there. I wasn't born by 1700 and before then, so I cannot know or say if any of those other dates were truly correct. But this one, year 2000 new millennium spread like ebola news and I can remember that even in Nigeria people were seling off their properties, some northerners jump inside the next available lorries, saying "mujee mujee" , easterners were travelling home in their dozens through luxurious buses, even the airports were filled abnormally people travelling in fear, some were greeting emotionally as if they won't see again, see hugging severally. People were crying that, is that how all their millions will perish in the banks without them enjoying it. The painful part is that, so many people had accidents and died then. It wasn't funny at all that year. Here we are 15 years later, still rolling strong and good. |
It all depends on the individual and what the person want. Some like Uk, others USA. No society / country is 100% good. People will always have a choice in everything, over others. |
What is this please? |
School life |
God have mercy. RIP to the dead. So many collapse buildings in the last few days. Mostly in Lagos. |
Just one child. Is all about a happy family. Many out there want to have four children without putting the current economic realities in perspective but they do not have the means to adequately cater for even two children well. #commonsensenocommon |
Na my papa born me....lol |
Nigeria need more hospitals across the local government areas of each state, with modern equipment and qualified staff. The country general hospitals are always overpopulated. Our population is growing, infrastructure is not. |
Op, you are a deliverance candidate . Please don't joke with this. Obviously, he has initiated you into some serious covenant without your knowledge. |
Bibidear:I didn't see "elected" there. |
Hmm First female governor in Taraba. I think there was a female governor in Anambra or so in the past. |
Nopeace4dwicked:I thought she was a female? |
Kidnapping crime should attract death penalty. |
God have mercy. RIP to the dead. Many substandard houses in Lagos. Many Lagos landlord like baba Kola pack erosion sand to build, plenty sand little cement. Just to collect rent from tenants. Hope, someone will not ask NCC to fine the landlord? Any small thing now, NCC will be mentioned. Those that died from the building and other ways like accident have plans for tomorrow, they did not see the death coming. What a life! Year 2015 will not see my end, I will see the end of year 2015 and many more years in good health, wisdom, prosperity, peace of mind, joy and divine favours in Jesus name, Amen. |
Is Daniel Wilson back to showbiz? I thought he was into bread business? Mr Ragamuffin... |
Nice one I believe that RS need more workforce. There are areas without RS in sight, if we have more marshal on the road, people will tend to comply more. |
Seriously, there is poverty, not just hunger. |
