Almost every major junction was barricaded by soldiers in full military gear, as if this ordinary LGA election was a war situation. If I hadn’t properly identified myself, I might have been subjected to frog jumps, just like some men I saw kneeling at the Sokale roundabout.

The Kubwa Expressway was unusually free as I drove around to observe what was happening. On my way to Dutse, I encountered another military barricade at the Dutse market, which forced me to divert through Dawaki to avoid unnecessary delays.

Overall, everywhere felt deserted, just like many of the polling units. I sincerely hope the general elections will not follow this same pattern.

I know they don't care, aside the fact that it is also the truth, but I can't help stating it.

I do apppreciate your concern immensely and thank you for it.

I can confidently say that, despite having some fragility about me, not one Obidient has the requisite nous or capacity to take advantage of it, not one of them on this Platform at least. I have chewed and spat out more than they are combined.
