Ofunaofu:
Tinubu does not forgive critics, he absorbs them. His reward system is simple: if you once exposed him, insulted him, or loudly questioned his past, you are more valuable inside the system than outside it. Name one top appointee or loud defender around him today who did not once attack him.

-Baron Large
He is a political master strategist and a much better man than me sha. Me I can keep malice o.

When I saw him shaking hands with Peter Obí at the Vatican, my respect for him increased a lot.

Same Peter Obi despite losing at the Tribunal or supreme Court never congratulated him once on his victory. Same Peter Obí whose lawyers slandered President Tinubu with accusations of drugs conviction offences which were proven false.

Imagine trying that with Abacha and then showing your face, Bába President Tinubu bí abeg.

PoliticsRe: The Illusion Of "Your Network Is Your Net Worth" by aswani(m): 10:23am On Feb 14
In some ways, this is not an illusion.

Maybe I will tweak it slightly to say the "strength" of the component parts of your network is your net worth. Strength being difficult to define admittedly and context based

I know someone who has changed their last three jobs based simply on their network. On each occasion, they were made redundant not because they were poor in their jobs but because technology was effectively overtaking it. On all three occasions, they got another job based on their network as well as pay rises.

Funny enough, they are at risk again currently and incredibly, have already lined up another job from another member of their network which again amazingly, is looking to give them a pay rise if they change jobs.

orion7:
He won’t need to hound politicians. Or Emply sycophants like omokri. Nigerians will queue behind him. But he failed. Now he wants to harass people and force them to flag up for him

Failure
Per the bolded, there was nothing President Tinubu could have done to make Obidients queue behind him, not one thing.

That bitterness of a Peter Obi loss is no doubt going to follow them to the grave.

I actually think the rest of Nigerians are queuing behind President Tinubu and his Party going by election results all over the country after he assumed the Presidency.

His party, of which I am not a member or supporter, has gained even more strength with defections into it by political opponents from governors to local government councillors.

I am not sure who President Tinubu is harassing anyway, maybe you can name names.
PoliticsRe: Is Tinubu The Most Powerful President Nigeria Ever Produced? by aswani(m):
SisterAnn:
Yes he is the most the powerful!

Under him, over six new terror groups emerged and are doing great in their areas of interest.
Can you list them please?

IPOB have been around for a while, so has MASSOB, ESN and Boko Haram.

Instead of just saying a number, that you most likely pulled out of nowhere, at least back it up by stating the names.

Per the thread topic, I don't know about President Tinubu being the most powerful because Obasanjo had some clout himself as well.

I would say though that President Tinubu has been blessed with the most disorganised and useless opposition ever in Nigerian politics. So betting that is bad in itself.

It was a big mistake her going on Simon Jordan's show. She sounded even worse with her narcissistic bent displayed on an even grander stage.

She also contradicted herself a few times and Simon Jordan picked up on and took her to task over it. Simon is an idiot himself and for him to look good and his usual smug self taking Aluko apart was satisfying and annoying at the same time..

Ian Wright has done nothing wrong, he has spotted Aluko's toxicity from far and wisely avoided it.

Sorry to say you have zero idea about the matter at hand.

This Aluko woman is a very toxic character, so toxic that she burns bridges all over the place and couldn't care less who she throws under the bus.

She is also one of those women that feels the world owes her a living despite her toxic nature.

This woman is one of the best at being a professional victim.

I don't blame Ian Wright for not accepting her apology becaise sure as night follows day, she would have repeated her nonsense as nothing he would have done would have been enough and at the next sign of trouble, she would have said he has accepted her apology but hasn't truly forgiven.

I feel for her somewhat though, treated like a white person all her life and now that the doors are closing in her face and she is hearing No from the white establishment regularly for the first time, she is refusing to accept it. Something that black people have had to accept all their lives in white countries.

Clearly, she has been blackballed in Sports UK broadcasting and the best thing is for her to move on swiftly in her life. Accept the part she played in her downfall and stop blaming others.

Again, please allow me to vehemently disagree with you, as I have done up until now. I'm not sure where you are located, but even if you are domiciled outside of Nigeria, and you love your country and those left back there, then you have every right to be angry, even moreso.

This is what you accuse Obidients of. You accuse them of not becoming pliant to a system of proven abuse. A class of morbidly corrupt politicians now characterised by this president , who have taken away our slightest dignity first as humans, then Nigerians.

Now, if not by raising our collective voices high and recalcitrantly to a rigged system, and by refusing same to be drowned by the intimidation, innuendoes, gaslight and outright falsehood of paid APC goons for hire, where exactly do you reckon this country will be today?. Tell me.

If in the unlikely event that you eventually suceed in your pushback, what do your leave the steering power to, Tinubu?. How then are you going to honestly disconnect yourself from his mis-governance machinery?. That makes you not only emotionally driven as your associates falsely accuse obidients, it makes you an accessory, compliant and enabler.

While I must continue to recognize and respect your right of association whatever that becomes for you, it is sad that you have refused to admit the relevance of those you gaslight in keeping the checks and guardrails required to steady the rudders of our society based on prevailing circumstances in which millions of Nigeria now involuntarily find themselves.

One also notices your association on this forum, and is therefore at liberty to associate you with the hirelings of the APC, and I stand corrected in the unlikely event that happens not to be the case. Finally, notice that I have disagreed without being disagreeable, that is intended. I believe that you can still turn the bend and join those of us who are bent on wrestling this country away from those whose interest on Nigeria is solely mercantile.
Sir, I am not sure what to respond to here. There is so much conflating, it's incredible.

U.S. Judge Orders Immediate Release of Tinubu’s Criminal Records

-
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a stinging rebuke of America’s top law enforcement agencies, a U.S. District Court Judge has issued a final ultimatum to the FBI and DEA, ordering the immediate and transparent release of investigative files related to Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The ruling, delivered on Monday afternoon, February 9, 2026, expressed deep judicial frustration with what the court described as “unreasonable delays” by the agencies in fulfilling a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The judge dismissed the agencies’ pleas for more time, mandating a strict, bi-weekly reporting schedule to ensure the public finally sees the documents.

A Final Deadline for Disclosure
Sir, please have some shame.

This is fake and has been debunked over and over again.

It never happened, it was a money making venture for David Hundeyin to cash out at the expense of Obidients who have more money than sense. Even he had gone to look for utter ways to fleece money from Obidients as dis wan don cast tey tey.

There is no case, no US Judge, no FBI or CIA respondent. No nothing.

All that you people and your fake one man news websites do is to change the name of the date and paste the same nonsense text.

One is then forced to interrogate the basis or metrics you deployed in coming to your decision.
This is the problem with you Obidients, even less than 24 hours ago, I accused President Tinubu of being part of a political class that doesn't put the interest of the common man first and foremost.

Yet you come here saying I have settled for him simply because I have the temerity to call out Obidients and their insultive and abusive behaviour.

From my time on social media, Obidients started the cycle of needless abuse to neutrals and followers of other partues who don't believe Peter Obí is the messiah and are brave enough to state their convictions in the face of relentless verbal assault by Obidients.

The rest of us are now fed up of it and are pushing back, suddenly Obidients want to start claiming saint.

No need to brag that you are the ultimate authority on the topic - prove it by educating people here on the subject.

I have seen their cards based on the postulations they put down and I believe their politically motivated nonsense is something easily dispelled by anyone with a basic knowledge of cloud server architecture and data transmission.

I have nothing to prove to anyone, I already have a few posts on the subject, you are (hopefully) intelligent enough to know how to search on people's posts to pick holes in them.

I will leave you with this to ponder, why are more technically advanced countries like us not doing away with the manual part of their elective process?
