What do we do to the existing drainage on our streets and roads, do we constantly clear them of all the dirts that we heap into them.

Cleanliness is something that government will never do for us!

Analytical:
I think there are 3 options:

- Ahonohai to give you more time to get money so as to get the remaining things done (how long I don't know, since you were pleading for more time) or
- he loans you the 50k so that you have a total of 132k+50K=180k to refund him at an agreed time or
- he decides to give you the additional 50k as variation while you agree on the time for the 132k refund.

If you ask me Ahonohai, I will take the 3rd option.  My reasoning is this:  If I had spent well over N2m to get this far, certainly 50k is a little price to pay to get my project delivered and forget about the saga.  I know Ahonohai is more than the 50k and wants to stick to the contract to prove a point.  Please let's resolve this I appeal.
If it were to be me, I will be more angry angry and obviously sad at the development  sad After spending so much and you still have to go through all of these "publicity" on NL. I feel your pain and there is no justification for the project not to be delivered to time.

It is quite unfortunate that Lord Barbus was faced by unforeseen circumstances that have led to this present situation. He and all of us have learnt a lot out of this case. I know that he is a professional and things happen that we can't explain to people! Take for example just yesterday the casement window guy held everybody including the bricklayer to ransom on my project. We had to use wisdom and some little compromises to resolve the issue.

Mr. Ahonohai, please things happen that we can't explain and I also want you to know that you have fulfilled your own part of the contract 100%, so stories should be the last thing that you should be hearing. I will go with Analytical's analysis  smiley Kindly pick one of the options and let's just leave all of these behind. And as Lord Spyder880 said, I guess option 3 will lay all of the differences to rest so quickly smiley You are one of the gentlemen in this forum and I am impressed by your patience and courage to control your feelings.
Politics › Re: Gbenga Daniel Allocated Choice Lands To Judge And Aides by atasteve: 11:07am On Oct 07, 2011
Do you know how daft that sounds? Even if someone told you that, won't you know that is an outright falsehood?? He concessioned the management of Olumo Rock. He didn't sell it.

Now about the lands allocated at give away prices, that is arguable. Government cannot sell lands at commercial prices, and there is no price caveat on sale of properties in the state. What is reasonable as a price is debatable. In the case of the school, government could ask for a meager amount to be paid as a way of encouraging the school to be cited in the state.

All these are flimsy reasons to hang Gbenga Daniel. I am sure the guy stole bastard money. If they want to hang him, they should do a proper investigation into the financial dealings of his administration and stop wasting our precious time on politics of vendetta.
I quite agree with you.

In as much as I want to be mine boss; I will not leave a paid employment to start a business.

What I mean is that no matter how good the business idea is, i will still keep my paid employment while I find my footing in the new business.

When the other business is stable enough to take care of my basic needs then i can start thinking of leaving my paid employment.

Bros don't try this forum o smiley , it is a an encyclopedia of knowledge.

What guys are discussing here are practicals.

I have learnt a lot from here and transferred the knowledge to my project.

Guess what even the professionals marvel at where i got such deep knowledge from, NL of course.

Properties › Re: Do I Really Need Pillars For Bungalow On A Dry Land? by atasteve: 9:50pm On Oct 05, 2011
I can 100% tell you that you need pillars even if it is just along the sides and maybe a few within.

They will bind the house together and when you get to the lintel, you can do perimeter casting that will bind the house together with the pillars before the roofing.

No matter the solidness of the land i will also advise German floor for the house. It might cost more but you will be glad you did smiley

You can use builders but make sure yo personally oversea every stage.
