I don't like fetish people, I have had to ask a girl to leave, cus she was into all these fetish stuff with waist beads and all that shit. Not that I believe in them, but can't be with someone soo myopic. My advice is to ditch him and find someone more exposed, someone that faces his fears heads on, not hiding under some fetish stuff like a wuss. Soon he will start seeing you as his problem. |

LordIsaac: Ngige is the culprit here as I've often pointed out. If he tells the president to listen to ASUU today, the strike would be called off. But what do we expect from a Mushin boy in government Rubbish talk |

It's obvious ASUU is greedy, hell bent on cashing out from this rubbish government as everyone else. Ngige cannot call of the strike on his own, he is just a mediator. There are lots of blame to go around. ASUU has a fair share for their selfishness and greediness, playing on the soft side of the public, one would ask, all the money they have been paying them from past governments what have they used it for. Left for me ASUU should be scrapped, their strike first ask questions later mentality is dragging our education back.
The Federal government has their own share of this blame same with the Education minister and all stakeholders. All these money they are paying to bokoharam and bandits is enough to pay off ASUU while they restructure that entity. |

backbone503: Section 67 (1) of the 1999 Constitution gives the president a discretion whether to attend the National Assembly or not. It states thus: "The President MAY attend any joint meeting of the National Assembly or any meeting of either House of the National Assembly, either to deliver an address on national affairs, including fiscal measures, or to make such statement on the policy of government as he considers to be of national importance." The operative word in this provision is MAY. In law, MAY conveys discretion; unlike the word SHALL which conveys a mandatory or compulsory meaning. Oga I MAY decide to take a stroll to a court and listen to a hearing as I please, but am mandated to be at that court if am invited for questioning .. The constitutional statement was for a casual NAS meeting, not when invited to explain matters of national interest. |

complexBoss12: I thought they said lawyers are wise because they read alot of books??
The average salary for professor in Nigerian is #450k. A tout in the National Assembly dey chop about #300m a year. So in just one, he has more than the professor can mk in his life time.
why not sue FG for not paying workers and always going back on their agreements with ASUU?? Politics has always paid more everywhere... Other professionals earn more than professors. So what do we do? Keep on going on strike Untill they start paying lecturers 400million? Even after paying ASUU all the billions they are agitating for, no average lecturer will see 1naira....no be today dem dey cash out nahh |
