Below are some of the ways you can copy content from a website that has disabled text selection and/or right-clicking. 1. Disable JavaScript from the browser As I mentioned in the beginning most website use JavaScript to disable text selection and right-clicking. Luckily browsers have a setting where you can either enable or disable JavaScript and in this case disable it, save and reload the page. Once done copying don’t forget to activate javascript because some websites like facebook and other heavy rely on JS and disabling it will break these websites. 2. Copy from website source code Websites are written in hypertext markup language (HTML). This code can be viewed by right clicking on the website if not disabled and selecting “View source” For beginners, this will be confusing and overwhelming and you might require basic HTML skills. However, if the website has disabled right click simply put below on your browser followed by the website/page URL Once you have access to the code you can easily get the information you want and copy paste as you desire. 3. Select from inspect element. I will recommend this method for copying a small amount of text, it’s tedious. If the website is right click enabled but you can’t select the text simply right click on the text and choose “Inspect element” A small window will open with the web page source codes. The only task will be to find the text within the codes mostly held by “<p></p>” code which you can comfortably copy. I know it’s confusing but check out below, to help you understand I know it’s confusing but check out below, to help you understand 4. Using Proxy Sites As opposed to disabling JavaScript from browser’s setting, some proxy website will give you an option to disables JavaScript before accessing a website. There are many websites offering this service, search for “free proxy website” on your favorite search engine and begin to experiment. 5. Print website to PDF In this case, you need to install print-to-PDF drivers such as PDFCreator. After installing the drivers you can easily print that web page to PDF which you can then copy the content you require. 6. Disable from CSS user-select property CSS, i.e. Cascading Style Sheets, is what defines how the website looks likes i.e. the colors, fonts e.t.c This tool can also be used to disable text selection on a website using the property.user-select Using inspect element window locate this property on the CSS. If you find it ‘untick’ to disable it. 7. Take a screenshot of the content. This is particularly useful with images where you can take a screenshot of the image/s from the restricted website and save it on your machine. In addition using OCR. i.e “Optical Character Recognition” technology one can extract all visible text as editable text and copy the text. Conclusion It’s best practice to always acknowledge the source once you copy any information from a website, that way you won’t be stealing. source: https://john.ng/how-to-copy-content-from-websites-that-restricts-content-copy/ |

The Coca-Cola Company is now in deep trouble. Many people have come to realize in recent times that products of the company do more harm to their health. In fact, all Coca-Cola products have no recorded important nutritional value. According to health experts, people who drink just 330ml of Coca-Cola would have their blood sugar levels increase dramatically within 20 minutes. If they continue to drink Coca-Cola continuously, they are likely to have serious blood pressure problems. Coca-Cola As a soda drink, it also contributes to obesity. In 2016, it emerged that Coca-Cola and Pepsi have been funding up to 96 health groups in the United States to mislead the public that their products have no links to obesity. When this was made public, Coca-Cola issued a statement denying the claim. What else can the company do than to deny the claim? Coca-Cola has since increased its advertising campaigns in order to continue to poison its consumers to death. We’re not intentionally scaring you, we’re just pointing out the facts. Soda drinks, including Coca-Cola, are nothing but poison. In the West African country of Nigeria, a court has ruled that two products of Coca-Cola – Fanta and Sprite – are not safe for human consumption. Coca-Cola Nigeria is Africa’s most populous nation with over 173 million citizens. This makes the country a hotspot for many multinational corporations in Africa. But due to widespread ignorance and endemic government and national corruption, many corporations do not follow due process in the country. All kinds of products and services are sold or rendered to the public without any thorough checks being done by the country’s regulators to ensure standards. In December 2016, Nigeria’s border officials seized fake rice made from plastic, weighing around 2.5 tonnes and intended for distribution to people during the Christmas festivities. According to officials, the fake and poisonous rice was smuggled into the country by unscrupulous businessmen. That is how corruption enables corporations and individuals to sell dangerous products to the public. In the Coca-Cola case, presiding judge Justice Adedayo Oyebanji ruled that high levels of benzoic acid and sunset additives in Fanta and Sprite pose a serious health risk to consumers when mixed with ascorbic acid, commonly known as vitamin C. Coca-Cola The court also ordered the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) – a member of Coca-Cola Hellenic group which bottles Coca-Cola products in Nigeria – to place written warnings on the bottles of the two drinks, saying the drinks pose a health risk. This means the two drinks would carry warning labels like cigarettes. The court didn’t stop there. It went further to award financial costs of two million naira ($6,350) against the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for failing to ensure health standards in the country. “It is manifest that NAFDAC has been grossly irresponsible in its regulatory duties to the consumers of Fanta and Sprite manufactured by Nigeria Bottling Company. NAFDAC has failed the citizens of this great nation by its certification as satisfactory for human consumption products … which become poisonous in the presence of ascorbic acid,” Justice Oyebanji said in his ruling. Coca-Cola In fact, the Nigerian public wouldn’t have had this relief ruling aimed at protecting their lives had something not gone wrong between a businessman and the NBC. Businessman Dr Emmanuel Fijabi Adebo used to do business with the NBC. He buys NBC products and distributes them across the country. In 2007, he decided to go international. Dr Adebo’ company, Fijabi Adebo Holdings Limited, attempted to export Coca-Cola products (Fanta and Sprite) to the United Kingdom for retail. But authorities in the United Kingdom seized and subsequently destroyed the whole shipment of drinks. Regulators in the United Kingdom said the drinks contained excessive levels of sunset yellow and benzoic acid. According to United Kingdom regulators, benzoic acid can form the carcinogen benzene when combined with ascorbic acid. This means the drinks cause cancer. Coca-Cola The NBC failed to compensate Dr Adebo for his financial loss. This compelled him to go to court to seek redress. After hearing the full facts of the case, the court held that products considered dangerous in the United Kingdom are also dangerous in Nigeria. “Soft drinks manufactured by Nigeria Bottling Company ought to be fit for human consumption irrespective of color or creed,” the judge said. When the ruling was given, Mr Adebo expressed his displeasure, vowing to pursue further damages because the costs the court awarded are not enough. He told CNN in an interview: “I’m happy that I’m victorious and we’ve alerted Nigerians and the entire world to what is happening in Nigeria. What the court fined NAFDAC is not one tenth of the amount I’ve spent on litigation … We should have been awarded at least the amount that we spent in purchasing that product and in exporting it to UK. We are entitled to special damages for what we have gone through.” Following the ruling, Nigerian citizens took to social media to express their dissatisfaction of all Coca-Cola products. Many lashed out at NAFDAC for handling consumer safety in the country poorly. They accused the agency of placing more priority on generating revenues than protecting citizens. Coca-Cola Some also accused NAFDAC for being responsible for numerous health problems and deaths because it allows corporations to sell poison to the public. The majority of citizens called for a boycott against all Coca-Cola products in the country to serve as a deterrent to other unscrupulous corporations taking advantage of endemic corruption to kill the public. The ruling has dented the image of Coca-Cola in the country. The company is likely to suffer losses this year because the scandal will remain in the minds of citizens for a long time to come. 12. Her Native Country Resents Her https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/aa.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=511&fit=crop All the way over in Slovenia, there is a bit of resentment that the new First Lady has forgotten where she came from. Rumors abound that she refuses to speak her native language, Slovenian (we at least know this is untrue as her son Barron is fluent in it so that he may speak to his grandparents), and that her big shot husband has only visited the tiny country once. Worse, he only stayed long enough to have dinner, and left again. Some of the people there think Melania thinks herself too good for Slovenia. According to Melania, she loved her “beautiful” childhood, but now the place she grew up represents a time from her past that was short and so long ago that it doesn’t matter anymore. She is a different person now, but that shows, and her fellow native Slovenians can tell. As we have seen, and will see even further, Melania may deny something, but that does not mean what she says is the truth, so it may very well be that she really does think she is better than those people. Above, she is pictured as a little girl (second from right) in Sevnica. 11. She is a Commie https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/mel9.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=768&h=1152&fit=crop Her father Viktor was a member of the Slovenian Communist Party. He must have been pretty dedicated, because at that time in Slovenia’s history, only about five percent of the people there were registered with the Party. Viktor once worked for the mayor of Hrastnik, and then became a salesman at a state-owned car company. Following his rigid set of atheist beliefs, Melania and her sister were not baptized, nor did they make their first holy communion with the other children. According to one source, a document from the Slovenian State Archives showed that Viktor Knavs was a listed member of the League of Communists and likely contributed to their ability to escape a state-owned communal property in 1984. Both Donald’s first and third wives, Ivana and Melania, were born and raised as Communists, interestingly. Some media outlets have gone as far as questioning if Melania is a Communist spy! Now wouldn’t that be a perfect “in” for the Commies, a spy living in the White House? 10. Her Illegitimate Half-Brother https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/aaa.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=585&fit=crop Before Viktor married Melania’s mother, he dated and impregnated one Marija Cigelnjak. Viktor demanded she abort the baby, but when she did not, he repeatedly fought having to pay child support to the son he denied (even after blood tests confirmed it was, in fact, his child). He fought it all the way up to the highest appellate courts, always losing. To this day he does not acknowledge his 50-year-old son (who lives in a small Slovenian town and works at a grocery store). The man, Denis Cigelnik, wants to meet his half-sisters but wants nothing from the rich family. He feels his sisters do not even know he exists, and Melania said she did not know about him. However, after being sent documents from the Slovenian court, she backtracked and claimed she had not understood what was being said due to a language barrier, and stated that she’d known about Denis for years. Hmm, seems a little fishy to me. Melania either does not understand English well enough to be the First Lady, which comes with duties all its own, or she was just plain lying, and like her father, denying a family member who did nothing wrong. 9. Rumor Has It She Was A Street Walker https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/mel8.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=780&fit=crop Yes, I know this sounds a little out there. Some of her lies and scandals are quite a bit more in the realm of possibility than this, but there are accounts of her once working as a prostitute. Given that Melania has denied several allegations on this or that, and lied about things she has said, the truth of whether or not these scandalous rumors are true will probably never be known to anyone but her (and her alleged high-end clients), but they should at least be mentioned since we cannot trust what she says. Of course, she denies having been a prostitute, and her lawyer even threatened to sue any publication that says she was, including Daily Mail, Inquisitor, etc., for defamation (to be clear, I am not saying she was or was not; I am stating the rumor). The story goes like this: a Slovenian magazine reported that a New York modeling agency Melania used to work for also provided escort services. At the very least, it sounds like Mrs. Donald Trump worked for a company that engaged in these sordid activities. source::: http://www.smalltalk.com.ng |
Melania Trump, America’s next First Lady. Many people are surprised, and maybe they should be. After all, she is not your typical First Lady, for many reasons. Besides the fact that she is the first foreign-born First Lady in 200 years (since the only other, English Louisa Adams, wife of sixth president John Quincy Adams who served from 1825-1829), and the first-ever Eastern-European one, Melania Trump seems to have quite a few things to hide. Or at least, things she would just as soon keep private. That is fine; we are all entitled to our privacy. But that sort of goes out the window when your husband is elected to leader of the free world, don’t you think? Still, Melania has been caught time and time again hiding information about herself, backtracking on things she previously said, straight-out lying, and doing some arguably scandalous things. Some of these you may have suspected but could not confirm (did she have a boob job, or didn’t she?), and some things you had no clue about (was she married before The Donald?). Melania Trump was born Melanija Knavs, and grew up in the industrial factory town of Sevnica in what was then Yugoslavia, but is now Slovenia. It was under the dictatorship of Marshall Tito and a satellite state of the USSR. Melania’s family lived in a concrete tower block, a far cry from her life in the Trump Tower, and soon, the White House. She left that life behind when she began modeling, and it seems she has not looked back since. Now 46, Melania speaks five languages (English, Slovenian, Serbian, French, and German), hopes to end bullying while in the White House, and stands by her controversial husband who seemingly prefers she be seen and not heard. She has said she does not always agree with him, but has not elaborated on that. So what is going on behind those cool blue eyes? The answer is perhaps a lot more than she lets on. Here are 15 dirty little secrets she may wish you had never stumbled upon. But lucky for you, you did. 15. Raunchy Phone Call with Howard Stern https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/mel10.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=780&fit=crop In a creepy interview with Donald and Melania in 1999, radio personality Howard Stern spoke to them on air in what turned into something completely bizarre and misogynistic. The interview was about life and sex with Trump, which I personally have no desire to know about. He was initially interviewing Donald, but when the topic turned to Melania, Howard said, “Let me talk to that broad in your bed.” Melania was wearing barely anything and lying in bed nearby, and came to the phone. First he told her to put on her hottest outfit, then asked about it, and he groaned that he had his “pants off already.” Melania divulged that she and Donald had sex “more than daily”, and the three discussed her chest, and that she was now naked. Howard begged Donald to have sex with her on air to boost his ratings. Wow. It sounds like basically a phone-sex party. I must say I would have a thought an international supermodel could have done better than the likes of Howard Stern and Donald Trump. 14. Not the Brightest Crayon in the Box https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/mel3.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=390&fit=crop Although it would be nice to think of our new First Lady as intelligent, sadly that is not the case. And be that as it may, Melania herself probably does not even know it, so it could be argued that it is not an actual “secret”. But those who grew up with her in Slovenia know the truth about her smarts (or lack thereof). One of her old friends from school, who asked not to be named, said this: “People say she’s smart, she’s well-educated like Jackie Kennedy, but… She’s smart for the things she’s interested in, like jewelry. She’s not stupid, she’s not a bimbo, but she’s not especially clever.” Well, I am sure glad our next president is married to a woman who is “not stupid” and “not a bimbo”. Sighing with relief that we dodged those bullets. But from how she acts (and how her husband acts), you would think Melania Trump is of high intelligence. I guess the fancy clothes, serious face, and new title skewer our perception a bit on that one, or maybe we just have a need to believe there are not two complete morons residing in the White House. 13. She Married Her Father https://therichest.imgix.net/2016/11/mel4.jpg?auto=format&q=40&lossless=1&w=780&h=520&fit=crop There are many accounts, even from Melania herself, about how much Donald is like her father. They say girls marry their fathers, after all. There is, firstly and most obviously, their age difference. While Donald is 70 years young (just five years younger than his father-in-law), his wife is 46, meaning there is a 24-year age gap. Donald is by far old enough to be her father, and in fact, his eldest son is only eight years her senior. Furthermore, both men are tall, plump, and have the same hair color. Both Viktor and Donald are impetuous men who appreciate the finer things in life, and as Viktor’s friend and neighbor Tomaz Jeraj says, “He has business in his veins.” Sounds like someone else we know. Oh, and let’s not forget the adulterous tendencies of both men (we’ll get to the details later). Finally, one of Melania’s old friends from Ljubljana, the capital of her country, puts it best when she says, “It’s about all that power and protection. I think she needed a strong man, a father figure.” Gross. |

Ignorance leads to misrepresentation of facts. Today, we are exploring the world. We want to know more about the world we live in. And our journey starts in Africa. In Western mainstream media, Africa’s image has suffered much damage. A large percentage of the horrible stories we see in the news comes from Africa. And because people easily believe what they read, listen or watch in the media, those who have not visited Africa before, believe almost everything that the media reports. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-2-20-e1453842647567.jpg However, in reality, Africa is not as bad as the media portrays. Over the years, the media has carefully selected the bad stories from Africa, making it salient in the news agenda. The media has a reason for doing this: horrible and shocking stories sell. However, we are here to correct some of these false stories about Africa. Firstly, the media has made people believe that Africa is one large country. This is not true. Africa is the second largest continent, and is made up of 54 independent countries. Each of these countries has its own political, social and economic organization. See the countries in Africa in the map below. This will help you move away from what the media tells you about Africa. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-1-2.gif Secondly, not all Africans live in poor mud houses. The different African countries are made up of rural and urban regions. Although it is true that the rural areas mainly consist of mud houses, the urban areas have modern forms of architecture and infrastructure. There are skyscrapers and other magnificent buildings in Africa. In the image below, you can see Kenya’s bustling capital city, Nairobi. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-2-19-e1453826933313.jpg Also, Africa is not a vast stretch of desert land. It is true that Africa is home to the Sahara (the Desert). Please take note: never say Sahara desert. It is tautological. Sahara is an Arabic word. It means desert. Now, back to what we were learning. The Sahara covers only a third of Africa. The rest of the continent is made up of fertile lands and water bodies, which support both aquatic and terrestrial life. The photo below is a testimony. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-3-23-e1453826965620.jpg Another popular economic misrepresentation about Africa is that the continent is economically very underdeveloped. Statistics show that Africa is growing at a faster rate. Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia have made great progress. As many as one in three Africans are said to be middle class citizens. The chart below shows compound annual real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 2000-2008 in the regions of the world. You can see that Africa was rated far ahead of the so-called Developed Economies. You can also see that Africa has shown great progress since the 1970s, making it the fastest growing continent in the world. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/S-4-e1453826996474.jpeg In addition, it is said All Africans speak one language. Again, this is not true. As we said earlier, there are 54 countries in Africa. There are more than 2,000 spoken languages in the continent. Countries speak either English, German, French, Arabic, Spanish, or Portuguese, based on their colonial history. Africa was enslaved and colonized by Western powers for more than 500 years. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-5.gif Some non-Africans have also come to believe that Africa has few social infrastructures. Although we cannot compare Africa to Europe or America in terms of these infrastructures, the continent is certainly making progress. Many countries in Africa have rich tourist attraction areas. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-1-20-e1453842631819.jpg And because of these areas, governments and individuals are investing heavily in the necessary infrastructures such as transportation, accommodation, shopping malls, schools, banking, energy, and health facilities. And this is boosting business activities and attracting foreign investors. Many African countries are therefore experiencing a rapid growth of their cities, and there are even fears that this will lead to gentrification. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-6-2-e1453827012492.jpg In addition, there are also misleading reports that all African countries are poor, and only survive on Western aid. However, in actual fact, western aid is essentially killing Africa. According to research conducted by a coalition of NGOs, and published by the Guardian, Western countries use aid to hide the “sustained looting” of the continent. Africa loses nearly $60 billion a year through tax evasion, climate change mitigation, and the flight of profits earned by foreign multinational companies on the continent. The continent receives $134 billion each year in loans, foreign investment and development aid from Western countries, but $192 billion leaves the continent each year. Therefore, Africa’s progress is as a result of the continent’s own initiative, not any foreign help. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-7.jpg Let’s also touch on this distortion. Non-Africans generally conclude that Africa is home to brutal dictators and corrupt leaders who have won sham elections. Dictators did emerge in Africa during the early years of independence from colonial rule; however, the situation has far improved. In fact, only seven of the 54 leaders in Africa are somehow considered to be dictators. On corruption, not all African countries are corrupt. We should admit that corruption is a social cancer everywhere. As a result, some African countries are indeed fighting corruption. Botswana, Rwanda, Burkina Faso and Nigeria are all good examples of countries fighting corruption. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-8-e1453827031567.jpg Before we end the piece, there is also a widespread perception that there is no technology in Africa. However, all African countries have embraced technology. Computers, laptops, iPads and mobile phones are all found in Africa. Even people living in remote parts of the continent have access to mobile phones. In a recent study published by CNN, it was discovered that more Africans have access to cell phone service than piped water. https://anonhq.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/s-9-e1453827042488.jpg This short video was put together by Al Jazeera. It covers some of the things we have talked about. By watching this video and reading this article, we can all begin to correct the false impressions the media has created in our minds. https://www.facebook.com/aljazeera/videos/10153774824648690/ This Article (All Is Not Doom And Gloom In Africa, It Is Just A Misrepresentation Of Facts By The Media [Video]) is free and open source.
