BackDatAssUp: You were not helpless when you were taking loans right left and center and wasting it on useless projects that were meant to grease Tinubu's leprous hands.
No more Jonathan for you to blame and Buhari has told you and your fellow Gbesse governors that you are on your own and that he won't bail you.
What I suggest is that you fast and pray to whatever heathen god you worship that oil prizes rises and your subvention increases or you can become more responsible and chart your own way out of debt towards fiscal independence by planting cocoa.
Useless rascal. |

kITATITA: Wireless, my brother you are being too passionate about regional divide. The average notherner feels more pains in the present dispensation than you and I. In all aspects of the human development index, the North is still lagging behind. Would you rather wish you were from the north? It is a class thing, it is not regional. I respect your sentiment because I'm very familiar with the Niger Delta; having visited several interior communities and seen the degradation there. I'm a Buhari supporter because I believe that he is more equipped to bring discipline and even development to the poorest. It's not about regionalism. In Delta State, it is difficult for the ethnic groups to live together. Ditto the Igbo and other ethnic groups in the Delta. It's bound to get worse in a decentralised Nigeria. We have different goals, for our lives. Freedom is what I seek, not a personnel change. |

There's nothing we can achieve in this current Nigeria. The experiment of the last 54 years has answered the people living or hoping on this pipe dream. Look at Yugoslavia, USSR, Czechoslovakia, are they better off today, than before?
I have always imagined a united states of western Europe, what a messy it would have been to mankind.
Nigeria is a failure, a bad business deal, time to pull the plug. |

We must see this change with the works of our hands be it for evil or for a patriotic cause, we must get it done. Truckpusher, I said mine a long time ago, anyhow they want it, that's the way its going to be. Goodluck was the last chance for a peacefully restructuring of this country. |

I know you're a kid. Is very difficult to understand why Nigerians lie so boldly. In that same period Nigeria exported, timber, Rubber, palm-oil, some of these liars forget these facts. They also forget derivation was 50%, with regions controlling their resources. Like you said, he might just be another kid, with google as his uncle. |

Let me ask you some question Have you ask your self why has our senator and rep not push and fight for the seeding of this country? The under rating of Niger delta, who is benefiting most? What has the people of Niger Delta done to stop this act being perpetrated by the northerners? [/s] |

[s] bushdoc9919: Hmmm
Like most tribes in Nigeria...the Ijaw are ready to talk about how the money is shared....but about good governance, good leadership,etc.....silence.
Look....an Ijaw man is not in charge anymore. But in your states, you have LG chairmen, Governors...who are Ijaw. I know what I am saying is not going to be popular.....but why don't you go home and tell them to do the needful things...like investing in education...esp technical education, innovation, and technology....so that your state can be really developed.
And what I am saying to the Ijaws, I am saying to all Nigerians...especially the Hausas,Yorubas and Igbos. Go and tell your governors and LG chairmen to run your state/LG well. All this talk about restructuring Nigeria....it is because we are running out of money to share thanks to corruption at all levels...including ironically by some of those new advocates for restructuring....that we are now crying for restructuring. Meanwhile...we have more serious problems. And nothing is being done about them at all.
(Nigerians won't do the above because they prefer to share money....rather than to work for money. If we had committed to a programme of industrial development since the 1970's...when we actually had an industrial sector.....Nigeria would have been a world leader by now.Not first world...but at the level of an Asian Tiger. But Nigerians prefer to be kept wives of rich and wealthy men ).
You cannot restructure Nigeria without restructuring the people....and if you persist...you will end in destruction.
I wonder....what solutions have Ijaw people designed for the pollution in their soils/waters? Developing such solutions could provide jobs and make many people prosperous.Plus....why can't Nigeria build machines/refineries for our oil industry? Why are we waiting for the Whites and Asians to save us? Why aren't Rivers and Bayelsa leaders in oil industry technology? Why isn't anything being done about bad leadership? Why?
Nigerians need to restructure themselves. Or else....we can have the SNC /True federalism today....and tomorrow, it would just be old wine in new bottles. The exploiters will just change uniforms and keep on exploiting.
Time we stopped blaming others and started blaming ourselves. That's where the true federalism/restructuring starts.
My opinion. [/s] another load of rubbish |
