Asari Opens Up on Avengers; Hits Buhari Asari Dokubo, the acclaimed leader of the Niger Delta Peoples' Volunteer Force (NDPVF) in a recent interview open up on activities of the Niger Delta, injustice and the Buhari government. This is coming even as the federal government is considering the Yar’Adua agreement with the militants’ years ago. See excerpts below; Buhari you are a proud Fulani man, but you have failed to understand that the typical Niger Deltan man is a PROUD man also. And we are not cowards; you cannot STOP the amnesty given to repentant Niger Delta militants by your predecessors and START an amnesty programme for your Fulani terrorists (Boko Haram) with the money from our crude oil. GOD FORBID BAD THING! You cannot set aside one billion naira from our OIL money on grazing reserves for your Fulani herdsmen and remove the host communities’ funds from the PIB and expect us to clap for you. NO WAY! Go and start exporting cows and get money to fund the Grazing Reserves. VERY SIMPLE! You cannot be LOUDLY threatening the Niger Delta avengers and QUIETLY negotiating with Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram members. NO WAY BUHARI; it should be the other way round, and pretty soon the actions of these men will bring you to your knees on the negotiation table. You want to cripple the Niger Delta Development commission; and start funding the North East development commission with our oil money. Are we the ones that destroyed the north east? BUHARI, IT WON’T WORK! Since you say it is the political reality that the 5% ers cannot get justice; the Avengers will give you the economic reality of that statement pretty soonhttp://www.kulgists.com/2016/06/asari-opens-up-on-avengers-hits-buhari.html

Politics › Re: The Solution For Nigeria's Economic Problems Found by attacker321: 12:51pm On Jul 25, 2016 |
maclatunji: [s]Imagine a Nigeria where there is no vandalism of oil and gas infrastructure which means the government can generate more revenue to finance its economic restructuring agenda across the country from the Nigerdelta to the Northeast.
Imagine a Nigeria where the people of the Southsouth constructively engage the government and oil companies on cleaning their environment, embarking on rapid infrastructure and human capacity development of the region.
Imagine a Nigeria where lawyers do not seek to subvert justice by using every trick in and not in the book to prevent corrupt big men from being convicted.
Imagine a Nigeria where there is massive industrialization, economic growth and development, reduced unemployment because the reforms in the power sector are supported by stakeholders with the rights of consumers protected.
Imagine a Nigeria where the health institutions are brought up-to-date in terms of equipment and manpower because the government has no choice than to do so. The economy has improved and the citizens demand the best healthcare because they are better-informed and enlightened to know that qualitative healthcare is a right not a privilege.
Imagine a Nigeria where educational institutions from primary school to university provide the best of education not because those in government are angels but because the economic growth that the country has witnessed means they do not have a choice than to deliver this basic right to the people because they now expect no less.
Imagine a Nigeria where politicians finally realize it is easier to make money legitimately than to steal from the treasury and go to jail.
This is the kind of Nigeria that President Muhammadu Buhari is trying to build but he will not achieve this objective if we Nigerians insist on continuing with our old destructive ways that have led us to the sorry state we now find ourselves.
There are many who think a Buhari failure would be a victory for them, I laugh at their folly. A Buhari failure would only mean their lives will not ultimately get better anytime soon. Some might say they can travel to other countries to live the good life. Well, what about those you would leave behind? Our lives would be richer and better when our brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews all live a comfortable life, not when you and probably your wife and children live a false life of comfort and have to make strangers your extended family in a foreign land.
Let the wise heed good counsel.

MizMyColi: Lol @attacker321 I prefer viewing these days.
I support Biafra, period.
A regional system of government would have been the best, such that, we would be united, yet diverse. But we all know that's a pipe dream, right?
I only wish the inter-tribal hate and biles will stop.
My mantra and stand has always been for fairness, equity and justice.
I did not follow politics pre Jonathan era, but what I am definitely sure of is that this regime scores zero in that regard as far as Pro-Biafrans are concerned.
The killings, jailings and outright exclusion in the grand scheme of things is inexcusable.
A true leader ought to lead the process of reconciliation and national healing. But what does a thick regional cum tribal bigot and separatist like Buhari know about that?

Sounding very intelligent as usual! Please try and come around once in awhile nah. cc fulanimafia, Obailala. |

My good people, with all that has been happening recently, it is becoming crystal clear that buhari is fighting his perceived enemies and not corruption as he would have us believe.
The truth is like oil and no matter the amount of water poured on it, it will float.
Nigerians you can see for yourselves and judge, all these shouting that the Igbos have been doing is not for nothing.
Something is clearly wrong.
A lot of sai baba people are beginning to realise that buhari is a disaster, only those that are irredeemable are still shouting sai baba. |

When Igbos start shouting now that they should leave our son Ihejirika alone they will say we are being petty.
You all can see for yourself.
All these shouting that Igbos have been doing since is not for nothing; we are not fools.
Something is fundamentally wrong.
I thank God more and more sai baba people are beginning to see the truth.
The ones like omenka & aressa are irredeemable. |

fulanimafia: I'm also pro biafra...didn't you know?
Just don't think you can force non-SE states to join you, allow them to have their republic or remain in Nigeria or you won't have a wheelbarrow big enough for the 'market' you'll buy. The right of association is inalienable. The Igbos will not force any minority tribe to join us but will welcome and accept those that want to join us. The Biafra project is for Igboland which is bigger than the political SE. Our lands were carved into the present day Rivers state in 1976 and our lands in Delta north is all we care about. The rest of the SS can choose to form their own Niger Delta Republic or remain in Nigeria if they want but I can bet my last cent that should the Igbos pull out, the SS will pull out as well and the centre will cave in. Even the Yorubas will opt to remain on their own rather than share a country with the sons of ustman danfodio. |

I am a pro Biafra too but leave Niger Delta out of the evil struggle. Stop being silly, Igbo are not interested in bringing you guys into Biafra. Did you not read recently where MASSOB asked the UN to split Nigeria into six different countries? The clearly separated Biafra from Niger Delta. All we are in terested in is Igboland which includes our lands carved into Rivers state in 1976 and Delta north, simple. The rest of you 'We SS' can go and form your Niger Delta Republic, we don't give a fvck about that. Go and sleep and stop feeling important. We have told you people many times that we don't want you and we don't need you yet y'll keep shouting 'Leave us alone, we are not part of your Biafra' everyday like mad chickens. Once again, Igbos don't want you and we don't need you!!! I hope that sinks in this time. |

obailala: You keep lumping the geographical area called North Central into tour description of the north. But you need to understand that the typical man from Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Plateau would be very happy to break away from the domination of the core Hausa-Fulani north. The only reason why the north central hasnt declared this is because they are waiting for the politically naive and confused southern zones to get their acts together and speak with one voice on the issue of regional governments. The thing stopping Nigeria from returning to regional govts isnt the north as is always alleged; the only thing stopping the return of regionalism is the foolishness of the southern zones to speak with one voice on the issue. |

This is very shameful and unacceptable, what is happening in this country?
Imagine wives being raped in the presence of their husbands!
These reports are true because I know someone living around the area, honestly I don't know what Ikorodu is turning into.
The funny thing is that the press is absolutely silent about this.
The useless police men who were described as special forces sent there to dislodge these militants only went to start collecting N100.
The useless military cannot do anything now but they are always available to shoot unarmed protesters down.
What more can I say, this is so annoying. |
