The Indigenous People of Biafra has said it is planning a one-million-man march with pro-Oduduwa and Ambazonia agitators at the European Union headquarters in Belgium to press for their freedom.

The group said this followed the consistent moves by the three nations for their freedom.

The Media and Publicity Secretary, IPOB, Emma Powerful, said this in a statement on Tuesday.

Powerful said the rally for the emerging nations in West Africa aims to disclose their predicaments to the world on that day.

The group said the EU authorities had approved the rally in Brussels, Belgium, for the three emerging nations in West Africa and other nations in Africa.

The killings and burning of houses in these three emerging nations have gone beyond human comprehension. Many people are dying every day at the hands of the Nigerian and Cameroon governments. The statement read in part:

“The emerging nations of Biafra, Ambazonia, and Oduduwa are expected to be at the EU Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, on June 14, 15, 2022, to inform the world that they are prepared to be on their own.
“This is to show Europe and the entire world why we need these new nations in Africa to emerge. Our people must make sure they let the world understand our predicaments and what we are facing in the hands of Nigeria and Cameroon.

“The governments of Nigeria and Cameroon are terrorist nations, and we will not allow them to trample on our people and kill them at random. The killings and burning of houses in these three emerging nations have gone beyond human comprehension. Our people are dying every day in the hands of the Nigeria and Cameroon governments.”

Evidence has emerged of the gross violation of the rights of Biafran enthusiast, Idara Gold. If you recall, Idara Gold is a 20 year old Biafran enthusiast from Cross River state, who was accosted by the Police on 8th November 2021 in Enugu. Despite it being illegal for the Police to go through a persons phone, they did that to her, and when they saw a picture she had posted online wearing a Biafran attire to celebrate her 20th birthday, she was arrested. She was handed over to DSS in Enugu from where she was transferred to DSS Headquarters Abuja.

Since November 8th to this day, the DSS denied her access to her Lawyer, family and friends, and have not charged her with any offence. Her family was forced to approach an Abuja high court seeking enforcement of her fundamental rights. It was only when her family took DSS to court that the DSS deposited an affidavit(pictured below) claiming that they had concluded their investigation into Idara Gold since January this year l, and had transferred her to a military barraks in Kainji, Niger State, in February

This is not just about Idara Gold but about all those who believe in justice and the rule of law

How can a 20 year old girl be picked up in Enugu, transferred to Abuja, and denied access to her Lawyer and family as stipulated by law?

How can a young girl be kept in detention for over 150 days and not be charged or released? Even though investigation has concluded since January

How can a young girl be transferred from DSS custody to a military barracks for detention since February with word to anyone, even her family that have been asking DSS to see her?

Injustice to one is injustice to all. If the DSS can flagrantly act in such lawless way to Idara Gold, they can do the same to you.

So many people have been attributing what Ebonyi State born Finland based Lawyer, Simon Ekpa, says or does, to IPOB. It is important to let people know that Simon Ekpa is on his own and has never been a member of IPOB.

Simon Ekpa has his own online broadcasting channel on which he was raising awareness about Biafra. Probably after Nnamdi Kanu, he was the most watched Biafran broadcaster. But he was never a member of IPOB. Simon styles himself as a disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, and now leads a group of people expelled from IPOB for insolence. IPOB has since denounced Simon Ekpa and his group

Idara Godwin, better known online as Idara Gold, is young woman from Cross River State and a Biafran enthusiast

Sometime last year,Idara Gold celebrated her birthday wearing a Biafran attire and posted it on her Facebook page. She was later randomly accosted by the police in Enugu on November 8th 2021, who insisted on going through her phone. As soon as they saw the below picture of her in a Biafran dress, she was arrested, transferred to DSS headquarters Enugu, and moved to DSS headquarters Abuja

Nobody has seen Idara Gold since then. She has not been charged with any offence, her family and Lawyers have been blocked from seeing her and nobody knows if she is alive

Someone should tell the lawless DSS that there is no law against anyone wearing a Biafran dress or peacefully agitating for Biafra

Yes a Biafran group may have been banned, but Biafra its self was never banned

There must be justice for Idara Gold, we are in a democracy, not military rule

Gloria Okolie is a young 22 year old girl from Umutanze, Orlu, Imo State. 9 months ago, she was abducted by men belonging to now disgraced DCP Abba Kyari's IRT(Intelligence Response Team), taken to their notorious "Tiger Base" Owerri, where like many others, she was branded an IPOB/ESN member. And so started a 9 month journey of hell for Glory who was recently released on bail by an Abuja high court

In the video below, Glory narrated to some of her Church members some of the horrible things that happened to her while in detention. She claimed she was kidnapped by the IRT men, taken to their base, where she was turned into their personal slave and servant. She also claimed to have been molested in detention. She was not allowed to contact anyone and her family did not know where she was. She said that when news of her detention broke, she was quickly transferred to IRT detention in Abuja. At Abuja, she was taken to see the Inspector General of Police who interrogated her on the claim that she had been turned into a slave. She was later charged to court on the claim she was an "ESN spy girl"

Glory also debunked any news that she was pregnant but admitted that she was molested while in detention

During the last court date of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, the issue of allowing him change of clothes came up. According to Nnamdi Kanu's defence team, three attempts had been made to bring fresh clothes to Kanu but the DSS rejected them. According to the DSS, the clothes had the head of a Lion and was not acceptable.

When the Judge asked Nnamdi Kanu what sort of clothes he wanted, he said 'I want to wear the clothes of my people' which the judge refused. Many Igbos have felt that it was victimization not to allow Nnamdi Kanu wear the Igbo ethnic dress known as 'Ishi-Agu'(or Isi-Agu) which usually has the head of a Lion or any four legged Animal. Awards keep flying in for Barrister Ejiofor, the Lawyer to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu. In the latest outing, the leadership of the African Students’ Union Parliament (ASUP), visited Ejiofor in his Abuja chambers to present with award. Barrister Ejiofor took to his Facebook wall to say

I was indeed, deeply humbled with the auspicious visit of representatives from the African Students’ Union Parliament (ASUP) to my office today, the 1st day of February 2022 all the way from Ghana.

These group of African students deemed me worthy to be presented with the “Pan-African Servant Leadership Award as Africa’s Icon of Judicial Transformation”, as well as adorned me as “Societal Drug Free Ambassador”. I am utterly astonished with these awards.

With deep gratitude in my heart, I wish to use this medium to sincerely appreciate the Leadership, Board and Members of the ASUP for finding me worthy of these eminent awards. Especially for closely monitoring and keeping track of events bothering on human rights and the sanctify of the human life across Africa, and particularly Nigeria.

As a Minister in the Temple of Justice, my mandate is to promote efforts that improve the rule of law and provide for equitable justice, which I have championed over the years. More so, I am motivated by the words of Martin Luther King: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”. Barrister Ejiofor thanked the leadership of NANS for recognising his hard work, and dedicated the award to IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

As lead Lawyer to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Barrister Ejiofor's house has been invaded by the authorities 3 seperate times and some occupants of his house were killed all three times. Ejiofor managed to escape death by the whiskers on those three occasions but has vowed to continue defending Nnamdi Kanu in court, even if it will cost him his life
