Only God will reward Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor for what he has gone through as Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer, and General council to IPOB Three times the Nigerian authorities invaded his house. Once while he was burying his elder brother in his village in 2019, killed some people there, destroyed his house and that of his neighbours. He later won a N50M court judgement for that illegal act In 2021, the authorities, DSS, Army and Police, again invaded his house. This time, they killed his PA, abducted his driver and steward, and took away the body of his PA in one of his personal cars. They later burnt Ejiofor's car on a lonely road, together with the body of his PA they killed in his home Ejiofor again went to court and won a hefty judgement against the authorities for not only himself, but for the wife of his late PA murdered by the Nigerian authorities The third time the came for him was his Abuja office, but that's story for another day as nobody was killed Ejiofor has won numerous judgements for not only IPOB, but people who were unjustly detained and tortured by the Nigerian authorities Ifeanyi Ejiofor deserves all accolades for what he has gone through in his battle for justice, against a Nigeria built and run on injustice May God bless Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and all men who stand up against injustice, but never quit, even against the oppressive state of Nigeria |
Biafran supporters have taken to various social media platforms to mock the CDS, General Chris Musa, over his Canadian Visa rejection. It was pointed out that as the Canadian authorities were rejecting his Visa, a Femle IPOB member was being granted Asylum in the UK. A woman who had been in the UK since 2011, and had 8 asylum applications turned down, succeeded on her 9th attempt when she told the British authorities that she faced persecution for being a member of the group if sent back to Nigeria. A UK immigration tribunal then ruled that there was ample evidence that the Nigerian authorities had unduly persecuted the group, and granted her asylum. IPOB is designated a terrorist group in Nigeria, however, no other country including Britain, sees them as such. Biafran supporters then asked Musa to consider joining IPOB to solve his Visa woes.

Eze Ndigbo Ajao Estate, Eze Fred Nwajagu has granted his first interview since leaving detention. Speaking in Igbo language, Nwajiagu talked about the controversial video he made about inviting IPOB to Lagos, his detention, trial and release According to Nwajagu, his troubles started when he and other prominent Lagos based Igbos visited the Oba of Lagos, and the Oba said that Igbos who failed to vote APC in Lagos would be thrown into the Lagoon. He said he was the only one who got up and challenged the Oba of Lagos to withdraw that statement. He later found out that APC was desperate for the Igbo votes in Lagos and were using money and mouth watering promises to induce Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos chapter, which he was a prominent member of. He said that in the lead up to elections in Lagos, some Yoruba's, including MC Oluomo, openly warned Igbos not to be part of the elections in Lagos, threatened them, but were never arrested. He said that on the day he made the video, he got a phone call that armed thugs of Yoruba extraction attacked Igbo businesses at Trade Fair, killed three Igbo businessmen, and destroyed Igbo businesses. He said he also got a call that another Igbo traditional ruler was attacked, he head broken, and when the Police arrived, rather than arrest the perpetrators, they bundled the Igbo traditional ruler off to detention He said that it became clear that Igbos had become endangered species in Lagos, and nobody was doing anything. So he acted by making the video, suggesting that IPOB be invited to Lagos to protect Igbo lives and businesses He said he commited no crime by what he said in that video, and court have decided so. He also said that he will be fighting his conviction for parading himself as a traditional ruler in Lagos, stating that many ethnic groups have their own version of traditional ruler of their communities based in Lagos, and he is not the only Eze Ndigbo in Lagos. He said he was crowned "Eze Ndigbo Ajao Estate" by Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos branch 10 years ago and the certificate he was given clearly stated that he was traditional ruler of Igbos in Ajao Estate only On the two years he spent in jail, Nwajagu said he has no regrets as he was there for defending his people. He said that when he got to jail, he filled in a seperate form to take care of himself. He said he had a seperate cell, ate home cooked meals and drank bottled water throughout his stay, as a man of means. He also said that many prominent Igbo men visited him in detention including late Ohanaeze leader, Iwuanyanwu, and thanked all those who checked up on his welfare. However, he said that poor prisoners suffer a lot as there is hardly any food in prison, and when there is, it's of a very low standard. He also said that prisoners die weekly as there are no drugs for prisoners that fall sick in jail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VYs_ae4FJE

According to this Facebook video, this incident happened somewhere in the South East. Armed masked men arrived at a residential building, banged on the gate and demanded to be let into the compound. They claimed to be Nigerian Police. The occupants demanded that they take off their masks and show them ID For that, one of the alleged Police opened fire, making to occupants to run into the building and lock the doors. One of the armed men now scaled the fence, and opened the gates for the others. The video stops running, nobody is sure what happened next Lawyers in the house, if this was my house and I have a licencd gun, do I have the right to shoot this armed masked man climbing my fence? https://www.facebook.com/EmekaGiftOfficial/videos/534436992954137/?app=fbl

A foremost civil rights group, International Society for Civil Rights and Rule of Law (Intersociety), has alleged that security forces and local vigilance groups killed over 32,300 unarmed civilians across the South-east within the past nine years. The group, while presenting a special report, also claimed that security forces extorted about N3trillion at road blocks within the same period of time. The report titled: “Ocean Of Innocent Blood Flowing in Eastern Nigeria was unveiled in Enugu yesterday, during a world press conference. While presenting the findings of the report, board chairman of the group, Emeka Umeagbalasi, alleged that security agencies and killer-vigilance groups “used ‘IPOB/ESN/BIAFRA terrorism’ as a pretext to secretly massacre 22,500 unarmed civilians and openly killed 9,800 others (totaling over 32,300) in the past nine years and four months (August 2015-Dec 2024).” The group further alleged that thousands were unlawfully detained and tortured, whereas over 6,000 were blindfolded or face-bagged and bundled at late night from the East and dumped uninvestigated in seven Northern States of Niger, Kogi, Nasarawa, Benue, Kaduna, Zamfara and FCT (Abuja) It said that over 300 Igbo communities were raided within the same period, and 6,000 civilian houses razed, 180,000 displaced, one million frightened and forced to abandon their homes and flee. The group said: “The report further catalogued and exposed massive arbitrary arrests, perpetual detentions arising from uninvestigated and un-triable phantom allegations, kangaroo arraignments, late night abduction and face-bagging of unarmed Igbo civilians to secret military detention facilities in northern Nigeria, torture and bodily lacerations, open killings and secret executions, enforced disappearances, dead body persons’ disappearances and criminal interments.” Speaking on the allegation of collecting N3trillion in bribe within the period, Umeagbalasi said: “The report also notes that N3trillion was corruptly seized and pocketed by security forces at roadblocks and gunpoints, with the Nigeria Police Force taking in the highest amount. “Additionally, an estimated 2.7 million illicit small arms and light weapons have been proliferated in the region, including 400,000 in the hands of Fulani jihadists and allied groups.” In its recommendation, the group called for urgent action to address these human rights abuses, including prosecution and compensation for victims’ families. The report’s author has also urged the Nigerian government to prevent further abuses and ensure accountability within the security forces. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2024/12/24/report-security-operatives-killed-32000-civilians-extorted-n3trn-in-south-east-in-9-years/?amp |

At least nine people have been killed and four others critically injured following a violent clash between farmers and herders in Jigawa State. The incident occurred in the Miga and Jahun Local Government Areas and marks the latest in a series of deadly confrontations in the region. The violence began after a group of suspected Fulani miscreants reportedly stole a large quantity of hibiscus and other valuable items from a shop in Gululu village in the Miga Local Government Area. Farmers, tracing the thieves’ footprints, confronted them in the Fulani settlement camp at Yankunama village, Jahun LGA. Tensions escalated when the farmers were met with bow and arrow fire, leading to casualties on both sides. DSP Lawan Shisu Adam, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that the situation intensified when locals retaliated, attacking the Fulanis and setting fire to their homes in multiple areas of Miga and Jahun LGAs. Popular Anambra based Skit-makers, content creators and comedians, Udu and Nwoke, collectively known as the 'Albino Bothers', were shocked to their bone marrow when Peter Obi attended their show with nobody, not even security. The story is that the brothers, who are also twins, hosted a comedy show in the city of Onitsha. However, unbeknown to the brothers and everyone in the hall, Peter Obi attended. Peter Obi had ditched his trade mark black attire, his glasses, and wore a simple shirt and light brown trousers, making himself unrecognisable. After the show Peter Obi walked up to the brothers, called them by their names, leaving the brothers tongue tied that Peter Obi had not only attended their show, but came alone. Peter Obi told the brothers that he was a big fan of theirs , flipped out his phone and showed them some of their skits he had saved on his phone. Peter Obi then thanked the brothers for a wonderful show and left.
