1. Nigeria has no databank

2. No evendence of what you are saying

Your argument is a work of fiction.
Stop telling lies here, ATR-42, Beechcraft ER, Diamond D42, CH-3, P18N ship, etc have inbuilt datalinks. TDL is NOT the only datalink existing, individual platforms have data link connected to their base command center, that is what 95% of the world uses and it works fine.

Total costs and implementation costs of all system in the world?

You never said how many countries spend billions of dollars on datalink. Do you know what billions means when you have just about a dozen countries with datalink? Divide $ 3 billion by 12 and see the type of impression you were trying to fraudulently make here.

FighterPilot:
TDL is immediate since you can directly see what frigates and aircrafts see. C2 can be as modern but is not network based. It still operate in isolated unit.

TDL-MTN is more like one screen showing many images from different platforms. Gripen can see what our frigates, submarines, ground troops see at the same time and other platforms likewise.

When one platform locates the enemy all platforms see immediately in pictorial view. They will all see what enemy is wearing, what is he carrying and how many are they.
The bolded part is a BIG lie !!

1. So the Mbombe is the same as the Igirigi?
2. Designing, building and mounting an unmanned 30mm turret is easy?

Nigeria has yet to build anything in the class of the Mbombe
Mbombe is yet to fight any one single battle in the class of wars fought by the Igirigi in 5 years !

You know you talking nonsense.

It is way more sophisticated than anything Nigeria has ever produced. Your igiri APC is a piece of cr.ap everyone knows it.
Battle tested Igirigi APC has fought and won battles that your old Rooikat tank destroyer and new Badger IFV have never fought in 20 years !

Where is the Proforce Viper?

The vehicle ranges from the company are enough in my opinion. They cater well for a broad spectrum of buyers. I think a 6x6 IFV should be the next project.

6x6 , Slat Armour, Surveillance system (thermal, Infrared camera) and a 30mm remote weapon station.
Many will also have removable cage armour for COIN role.

The Toyota Hilux is a beauty, give her 14.5 mm Chinese version or 40 mm auto grenade launcher, and perhaps a few with 6 barrel rapid fire gatling gun/MiniGun for SF men to suppress the enemy when heavily out-numbered by the enemy, fighting for survival, boxed into a corner. The MiniGun is fully retractable into the Toyota and nobody outside knows it is a military special forces combat vehicle painted in civilian colours with tainted glass as it patrols the street scouting for it's objective.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j0eJ0xB7LU

Proforce should accept the Nigeran army's Igirigi blueprint and help them improve on it's hull and metallurgical engineering. Develop it into Light Amoured Tactical Vehicle able to carry variety of weapons in many versions : 20 mm auto dual feed cannon HE shell and AP shell, Gatling gun, 14.5 mm gun, 40 mm grenade, 81mm mortar, M3 Carl Gustav roof hatch manually manned one man rocket launcher, field hospital, telescopic mast battlefield surveillance day/night cameras with 20 km range.

Proforce armoured have received international testing and certifications, they surpass North American standards in their vehicle category.

Proforce should develop the Leopard as SF mobility/utility/patrol/secret ops vehicle

Profroce should develop Viper into a cheap, amphibious, medium size IFV, that poor African countries can afford to buy in large numbers for COIN.

Proforce HCMPAV should be mass troop transport replacing lorries and Pinzgauer, but must be armed with one forward 30 mm cannon remote station or manual roof hatch and 40 mm grenade launcher on the rear turret, 22 troops with 22 side and rear firing ports will be difficult to ambush, plus the mine clearing dozer blades, ISIS will fear this one and NATO will buy it.

SANDF was fighting in self defence and were not protecting territory. Why should they capture the enermy or even take pictures of the dead enermy? We are not some cheap barbaric Nigerian troops who go about taking pictures of horribly killed insurgents and upload them on social media. It is against the policy and code of conduct of SANDF. We are a professional army and we don't rally around with the cut-off heads of insurgents. That attitude is barbaric and terroristic.
Show me where UN laws of war says it's babaric to kill an enemy with a military Bayonet knife. In war of the Bible days don't they use swords to cut off the head of an enemy in war?

SANDF killed no Seleka until you show us proof, all we see are 15 dead SANDF elite troops, so only SANDF troops died in Bangui.

Really and we are supposed to believe a CAD generated prototype is better then the tried and tested Nyala's and Mamba's.
Every vehicle starts with prototype, Nyala or Mamba MRAP all began with prototype.

The Nigerian MRAP has passed computer image stage, it's under construction, see it behind our army engineers on inspection tour of Proforce, proudly made in Nigeria ARA MRAP....we will soon overtake South Africa in armoured vehicle production and sales like we did with GDP !

All Proforce products meet international standards, tested and confirmed !

Patchesagain:
1. The war started in the Bush (Sambisa Forest) you couldent fight there so the war moved to the cities

2. The tide of the war was undoubtedly turned by Mercenaries

3. Your wars in Liberia and Sierra Leone were a complete fiasco and the opposition you fought against were barely militia, let alone actual insurgents or a trained force

Stop wasting my time, make a better argument
1. You know almost NOTHING about the Boko Haram war, it did NOT start in Sambisa forest, the war started in Maiduguri city under Mohammed Yussuf.....you are a complete ignoramus domingo grin grin

2. Tide of the war was turned by T-72 tanks and Mi-35 Hind E......plus 5,000 Nigerian army new COIN brigade that arrived for final offensive after COIN war tactics training in Russian army and Pakistani army....the Russians gave us the most relevant training their army's combat experience in Afghanistan against Islamic Mujahedeen terrorist forces, and that was an exact copy of Boko Haram.....120 Nigerian troops trained by Eben Barlow's PMC (NOT your SANDF army, Eben is a private company man) is just a tiny drop in an ocean.

Russian army should be the ones bragging about saving Nigeria with 5,000 troops they trained under their COIN special forces and sent to Nigeria for final offensive.....SA did next to nothing !

3. Liberian rebels were double the size of Boko Haram and Charles Taylor had military training and weapons from Libyan army through Ghadaffi, they were 10 times more powerful than Boko Haram, they defeated the National army of Liberia.....and Nigeria demolished them finally. SANDF has no such achievement with rebels in C.A.R Bangui, the war out-lived your elite troops and Gripen jets that sat down in Congo.

Sierra Leonean rebels defeated their country's national army, E.O mercenaries of Eben Barlow failed to defeat the rebels, so the Sierra Leonean president Captain Valentine Strassser sacked the South African mercenaries and replaced them with Nigeria army, and that is how Freetown became free, Nigeria won the war.

Nothing close to those achievements exist in South African army history.....SANDF has ZERO success achievement....Remember Seleka fiasco !

the same way a phone you bought in 2008 can't be compare with another in 2014.i am the one who asked you to give us the identity of the EO/IR pod also the radar if you can ? jesus any aircraft can have SATCOM ,you really need to do some reading signal/electronic/communication intelligence
We are talking about military grade external SATCOM domes for long range military intelligence aircraft used in war not civilian commercial travelers transportation, not British airways or KLM airlines.

If NAF ATR-42 FLIR is old because it was made in 2008, how many aircraft in this world have 2014 FLIR on them ?

How many air forces in this world change FLIR every year ? Has the Italian manufacturer declared it obsolete after 2008 ?

Later Patches will say I am insulting you, now you too look at the kind of stuff you are writing here, you want the whole world to buy 2014 FLIR on all aircraft otherwise their FLIR is old and due for upgrade in a company that you recommend ?

What's the problem with the head of we Africans? What's the problem really?

Augustus, the insults in that post are clear to see.

Now, dont talk about false data when you have come here with a long list of capabilities for the ATR42... which when we ask you for proof of your claims you refuse to post. It seems that you dont know the name of the FLIR Pod either.

You say it is a SATCOM dome, but what actual evidence do you have to substantiate these claims? You have zero proof, a dome is a dome, until proven what the dome is, it is simply a dome.

Do not speak to me of honest or animosity when you are the one whom has come here with wild claims, become evasive when asked to substantiate them and then proceeded to insult multiple members of this forum
Still, you cannot quote where I insulted anybody here.

I have no argument with multiple members, just you and africaken posting wrong data which you want to force the forum to swallow.

The members of this forum should learn how ask questions when in doubt, don't just say something is a lie.

NAF ATR-42 Surveyor has ELINT capability complement of the SATCOM dome.

If you don't know the what ELINT and SATCOM domes look like, be humble enough to ask for help.

"A KU-band satellite communication (SATCOM) system has been integrated in Nigerian Air Force aircraft, thus increasing the communication capabilities of the ATR 42MP."

http://www.aleniaaermacchi.it/documents/8005615/21800095/body_AleniaAermacchi_ATR42MP_ENG_2014.pdf

I have proof for all my 20 claims on NAF ATR-42 Surveyor, nobody will force me to post them, I do so when I like to. My Human Rights

You posted an anti-submarine warfare aircraft built for attack with weapons, how does that relate to an ATR-42 ?

RAF Sentinel is ISTAR but carries no weapons.

Your own source also calls that French MPA an ISR platform that operates in desert. You confuse yourself and defeat your own argument.

Many equipment do have primary role and secondary roles combined on one single platform.

Why do you post on this thread in such an insulting manner?

Why do you abuse members of this forum?

Why do you say others must not argue, but then post argumentative posts?

You should stick to the other thread
Quote where I insulted or abused anybody here, I never did that. I addressed him politely as 'sir', do you ever do that ?

Why should I be quiet if people post false data instead of argument? He said ATR-42 FLIR is old, yet he is asking me the name of the FLIR, so how did he know it is old, why was he saying NAF should go upgrade it? He does not even know the name of the FLIR.

You said NAF ATR-42 has no ELINT capability, I have posted 3 different photos of it's SATCOM dome form 3 different angles, so why should I keep quite if people that have zero proof still go ahead and mislead the forum with wrong data when evidence shows them wrong?

You should learn to be honest and avoid animosity or vendetta.

ATR 42 it radar is only able see objects fly below it.it is meant to see air crafts
e.g rotary , fixed wing or sea skimming missiles .you can't compare it to Grumman E-2C Hawkeye,E-3 Sentry e.t.c
It is called secondary AWACS air search role. Same way E-2C has secondary surface search role like MPA.

When you combine all those roles on one platform, it is called MULTI-PURPOSE ISTAR aircraft.

if your that knowledgeable tell us the type of pod it is ? also read carefully " location of a target in sufficient detail to permit the effective employment of lethal and non-lethal means. now give us information which show ATR-42 pod has a laser designator to give precise GPS coordinates or your talking about visual confirmation
You go first, tell us what type of FLIR pod is on ATR-42 since you first declared that it is old.

Show us where laser designator is part of the tools for target acquisition by ISTAR aircraft.

The NAF ATR-42 has done target acquisition and automatically displays sufficient detail of the North Easter Nigeria Boko Haram target likely a APC or tank at precise location North 11.38.02 East 13.26.33

That is what is called target acquisition, if the vehicle moves, the GPS data on the screen will begin to auto adjust and display position data, the target is locked for a k.ill by NAF or NA, that Boko will be blown to pieces by attack platforms.

Laser designator is for guiding launched weapons/attack munitions from ground attack aircraft.

Show us laser designator on British RAF Sentinel, one of the best ISTAR aircraft in the world.
