Nigerian OPV has superior AK-176 gun firepower, we will sink ALL Mandela's over-rated blue water ships in one day !

Everybody compare a modern Super Rapid photo below with the 1977 obsolete round edge shapes 76mm compact gun on South Africa's 'modern 2006' frigate grin grin

76mm super rapid gun below with straight edge shapes...South Africa does NOT have it o ! Proved !

Your opinion is, as usual, irrelevant
The photos of South African navy warships are relevant, it's not my opinion, it's your own navy's evidence grin grin

# Defeated By Own Navy Photos.

A source says SAAF has air to ground missiles, but do you have them? NO NO NO !

ALL Photos show you have navy guns 76mm compact with round shape.

You want to be a fraud...okay cool...live in a world of lies, it's the South African way.....

The 76/62mm Oto Melera cannon is used by the navy on its Valour Class frigate and Warrior Class offshore patrol vessels.

The South African Navy has placed orders with Oto Melara for the procurement of additional 76/62mm Super Rapid medium-calibre automatic gun mounting spares.

Deal with it

Rooivalk Thales Avionics TopOwl helmet-mounted sight display (HMSD) provides the crew with a head-up display of information for nap-of-the-earth flight (NOE).
Nap Of Earth?

NOE flight by Rooivalk? Last time your SAAF pilot tried it he crashed the Rooivalk, your computers are old....and bad.

NAF is proving the Hind to be better, see a modern Nigerian Hind helicopter doing NOE flight, we have done it over and over again and succeeded.

No wonder NAF is the best performing air force in the world 2015. See our own NOE flight at tree top level, we did not crash like Rooivalk o !

Rooivalk Remains 30 Years Obsolete.

Fake Upgrades :

There is NO PROOF that the Rooivalk computers or avionics were upgraded as proposed. No proof the money was release, no proof the job was done.

The only certain upgrade was to add ability to use Mokopa missile which was never ordered into service.

Next job was the over-heating cannon that was cooled from overheating, repaired, not upgraded. ZERO technology advancement. Same old gun

Rooivalk remains 30 years obsolete....even Rwanda won't buy it !

"Denel Aviation finally handed over five new Rooivalk Mark 1 combat helicopters to the South African Air Force on 1 April 2011, after years of development, building and testing.

The new Rooivalk Mk.1 is not much different to its old predecessor , the AH-2 Rooivalk.

The cannons which used to be a bother on the older Rooivalk by overheating very quickly and preventing rapid and sustained fire, have now been fixed.

The chief of the South African Air Force General Carlo Gagiano said, “ What is new is the Mokopa missile , which was test-fired at the Overberg range a long time ago and we had some very good results.”

http://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2011-04-04-rooivalk-the-next-generation-mark-1/#.VWZ7hvlVhBd

"The investment comes despite the helicopter's builder, Denel, questioning the viability of the 23-year-old project. The rotorcraft's cockpit reflects an avionics and computer processing power system that is now two decades old.

They are divided on whether the project is worth the effort. Some sources say it amounts to throwing good money after bad and paying for a Porsche to do a CitiGolf's job."

Heroin sub will have a life-span of up to 40 years.

It has completed 1/4 of its life cycle... and when it gets old it will be replaced.

So what?
South African navy Heroine class Type 209 Submarines are actually becoming obsolescent, it's a 1990s design. A new variant is already come after it and now in the market.

Egypt has purchases two more modern Type 209 submarines armed with both torpedoes and also anti-ship missiles for long range sea combat. South Africa does NOT have the best Submarine in Africa, it's Egypt and Algeria now leading African sea power

If you bring Nigerian standards to this argument you will be demolished each and every time.

Firstly...."50-70%" is NOT an agreement or contract. That is simply the Chinese playing you like f00ls. A firm agreement or contract will state that these specific parts will be built by these specific companies, no later than this specific time, and not costing more than this specific price. If costs are over-run or if production is late, penalties are paid. That is a firm agreement or contract. Do not dare come here with Nigerian standards..."we'll build-o 50-70% depending on what mood we're in".

Secondly....every single bolt and screw on that ship is paid for by the Nigerian Navy. In that hole you called a head, you think it's wise to have the Chinese build the superstructure, the bulkhead, the communication mask, fittings. Sail it to Nigeria, then have Nigeria disassemble what they dont like, add their own bits? Listen to yourself f00l. Your small brain is confusing modularity with construction.

If that ship had anyhing to do with Nigeria building 50-70% of it, its keel would have been laid in Nigeria. There is nothing more to that ship Nigeria can add to in the construction phase...simple. The Chinese lied to you...deal with it. Argument over.

Oh and why are airliners pressurized? Why do you keep running away from the question like a little b.itch?
Sorry, I could not find a single source or citation in your long story above. You pulled that out of your Gay-Screwed-Bum ?

Still bragging about scaring of a supply ship?

That is the hight of nigerias acheivement - threatening cargo ships
Nope, it is a well armed supply warship with heavy anti-aircraft cannon, 4× Oerlikon 20 mm cannon; 6 × 12,7 mm Browning machine guns, that's 10 guns armed to protect the SAS Drakensberg. Your navy was just too afraid of NAF Alpha jets.

South Africans were boasting about the SAS Drakensberg as "Jacob Zuma's big warship inside Nigeria's backyard"

Your 50 million SA people did not see it as a cargo ship, they saw it as your means of force projection by naval power.

Nigeria shocked your navy and fear made you do the Seleka style race by sea

Its a guided bomb

A shilka wont shoot it down

Its cheaper than ASMs

Roland can be overwhelmed by saturation attack

Starstreak and CRAM can shoot down your ASM
A bomb is a bomb and will always be a bomb with slow speed.

Shilka is built to shoot down the class of Hawk jets that can fly faster than your bomb.

300 Roland Vs 50 Paveway bombs, NA will wipe out SAAF 3 times over.

No - the need and a corrisponding project was created 23 years ago

But it was placed on hold when the Navy figured out that they could refit the strike-craft as OPVs
Those tiny boat strike crafts are just local home-based OPV, they cannot patrol deep ocean, you call them OPV? No, they are 415 ton boats and are mid shore patrol, not real OPV offshore class like Nigeria's 3,250 ton ships that are real OPVs.

Project Biro won't work for many years, it's a half dead horse. LOL.

Hey mumu, F91 was signed by contract to be 100% built in China and sail around the world from Asia to Europe to Africa, so how do you tow a 100% completed ship? Are you a white man with the brain of a Zulu?

Best Army in town !

Nigerian army COIN forces trained in Russia.

Likely part of the new 5,000 troop COIN brigade Nigerian army.

Russia trains 5,000 Nigerian troops yet claims no glory for defeat of Boko Haram. If a PMC that has one South African colonel trains 120 men in your army, they will say they won the whole war for you, that all other 40,000 troops that you have did nothing. LOL.

Ukraine deployed old obsolete Mi-24 Hinds in Congo DRC war :

"The armed forces of Ukraine are set to domestically upgrade their Mil Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters, now that country of origin Russia is no longer the biggest friend. Sources within the Defence Industry have provided some details of the upgrading program. Funds will come partly from donations of tens of millions of dollar made by Ukrainian companies and individuals after the country came to a stand-off with Russia when Moscow took control over the Crimea peninsula in March 2014.

The Ukrainian Army officially flies about 46 Mil Mi-24P/V/PM Hind attack helicopters, but the estimated number of aircraft that are actually airworthy is estimated at no more than 20. Three of them serve in Africa painted all white: two support the UN troops in the DR Congo since several months, a third deployed to Liberia on 26 March 2014 to aid the UN forces in that country. That leaves about 17 fully active Hinds at home. We at AIRheads↑Fly believe that now first some of the other 16 of the 46 Hinds will be upgraded to what is unofficially known as the Mi-24PU1 standard – with the U standing for Ukraine of course – to strengthen the front-line forces"

T-84 is t-80
T-80 is a year 1970s tank. T-84 is called Oplot and is a year 2000s tank.

The guns are different.

The engines are different.

The armour is different.

The country of origin is different.

The manufacturing company is different.

The range and speed are different.

The fire control is different.

T-80 has no anti-missile countermeasures, T-84 has Varta anti-missile counter measures.

T-80 is a 2nd generation tank with ERA armour, T-84 is a 3rd generation tank with PASSIVE armour.

....and the list of differences is endless.
