The advice you will get will depend on your qualifications. However, you must be willing to start small and move up. I'm fortunate that my wife is also a nurse. She had to prepare and take the NCLEX-RN exam on her own

The process from application to visa interview lasted 8 months. Before I signed up with Avant, I already had CGFNS certificate, visascreen certificate and IELTS.
I tried to accept your request but couldn't. I don't know what the problem was.
santa007:
Hi,
How long was the whole process, from writing ielts to getting your visa?

Hello house,
I just stumbled on this thread. It's nice to know that such a thread exists. I'd look in from time to time to see what I can contribute.
I practice in the US and came in via the sponsorship of Avant Healthcare Professionals.

I believe my previous answer was very clear. If you believe you know the answer then there is no need to ask the question.
If I answer your question with specific information, it is because that is what we accept at the Consulate.
Thanks @LagosNIV

Your police certificate will be valid for 1 year. You won't need another one unless the previous certificate has expired.
Is it regardless of what is stated in the certificate that it's valid for 3 months?

@ LagosNIV
I have an immigrant visa interview (EB3) scheduled for 2nd February 2016 at the US consulate in Lagos.
Do I need to get another police character certificate? The one I submitted to NVC was obtained in September 2016.
Travel / Re: U.S. Immigration Questions: Ask A U.S. Consular Officer by auschris: 10:57am On Nov 10, 2015
@LagosNIV
I have a pending immigrant visa application in the EB3 category. My priority date is current in the visa bulletin for December 2015 and my documents are currently being reviewed at NVC. I assume that if there are no issues in the process (in form of a retrogression or checklist), my exit interview will come up within the 1st quarter of 2016.
While submitting my civil documents to NVC, I realized that the police character certificate I obtained has a 3-month validity and will expire in December.
Will I be required to present another PCC at the time of my interview?
Thanks

Yes, it's required. But you will only submit a photocopy of the data page

VisaOfficer:

For our (immigration) purposes, the police certificate is valid for one year. However, you should bring a police certificate with you to the interview even if you have already submitted one to NVC.
Should the police certificate brought to the interview be the same as that submitted to NVC?
Should the accompanying fingerprint card be sent to the NVC with the police character certificate?

It is good to see everyone trying to give this thread a kick in the butt and get it going once again. Now we must know what it feels like to be in the Big brother house when the show is approaching the finale with the camaraderie gone and everyone just hanging around. Now we must act as a unit and push over the line. Truth be told, I am over the specified age by a couple of years but I swear down I am ready to dig in and fight with all my might. I may have deprived someone who is within the age limit and equally qualified but remember when "If you are good, you are good"was trending? I am not good but STRONGLY believe in practise practise practise; for this is the only way a boxer keeps his reflexes razor sharp.

So I beseech you all to chip in a little bit on how we can all make our AC. I have got an ebook "How to Succeed at an Assessment Centre" published by Kogan Page. If you are interested quote me. I will respond to all requests by 1700hrs today 11/08/2014. Requests beyond this date wont be answered o! Also @majekdom2, @sqlmaster and other top dawgs....me I am not good o so assistance is necessary

Sports / Suarez Loses Sponsor Because Of Bite by auschris: 10:53am On Jun 27, 2014
Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has lost one of his financial backers after he was banned for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Online gambling firm 888poker said it had "decided to terminate its relationship" with "immediate effect".
The 27-year-old Liverpool player was handed a four-month ban by governing body Fifa after being found guilty of biting Chiellini in a World Cup match.
Suarez cannot play for either club or country until the end of October.
He misses the rest of the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Uruguay are due to play Colombia in the last 16 on Saturday after qualifying from Group D behind Costa Rica.
Suarez learned of his ban on Thursday after Fifa decided to open disciplinary proceedings against the player.
He was judged to have bitten Chiellini on the left shoulder towards the end of Tuesday's group game, which Uruguay won 1-0 to qualify for the next stage.
Suarez denied the allegations, claiming Chiellini had bumped into him, but Fifa handed him the longest ban in World Cup history.
As well as a four-month ban from any football-related activity, Suarez was also given a nine-match international suspension.
Uruguay football officials say they plan to appeal against the suspension.
The decision to ban Suarez for four months has split opinion.
While the likes of former England captain Alan Shearer and ex-USA goalkeeper Brad Friedel have argued the ban is fair, reaction in Uruguay has largely been of anger.
Huge crowds gathered at Montevideo airport on Thursday as expectations grew that Suarez would be flying there.

Fans wait for Luis Suarez at Montevideo airport
Uruguay's Sports Minister Liliam Kechichian said the punishment was a "disproportionate sanction" that "hurts us", while Uruguay Football Association president Wilmar Valdez claimed the ban was "excessive".
He added: "It feels like Uruguay has been thrown out of the World Cup."
Suarez's lawyer, Alejandro Balbi, said the player was "totally distraught", while his grandmother, Lila Piriz Da Rosa, said her grandson had been treated like "a dog".
She added: "Everyone knows what they've done to Luis. They wanted him out of the World Cup. Perfect, they did it."
