Gbadebo Rhodes is one politician I respect so much, very civil,a gentleman to the core, very focused, puts in manifold efforts in whatever he sets out to achieve and doesn't pretend about it. If such a guy becomes the governor of Lagos, with all the potentials in Lagos, this guy will in few years turn Lagos to the next Dubai or say Singapore. Very youthful, full of Energy, relates very well with the grassroot! He is the man of the people! |
haybhi1:You are irredeemable,it seems bitterness and uncouthness runs in your bloodline! You are finding it difficult to differentiate between living a prideful life and the ethics of culture. These are the issues,You guys celebrate vainglorious life, laced with culture. |
haybhi1:Comprehension is a problem to you lots,I said 'meagre' 500k! Back to the discussion,it was Yorubas that introduced this aspect of musician calling out rich guys in music and events and in turn they spread them money, take them to Dubai or London for a mere Owambe,to show how rich they are...kwam1,Shina Peters,Sony Ade and other afro juju artists is just what kept them active and going. Face the truth! To express their boastfulness and flamboyancy, the went mad with ASHOBI! |
haybhi1:That's far from the truth, you know as much as I do,that any Omoluabi that earns a meagry 500k and above monthly, will walk and talk with so much pride, lifting his self so high, humility is never a part of Yoruba culture.Forget the usual squatting down during greetings, that's just a mere formality. Yorubas are typically known to be very boastful and loud mouthed and these are the leading attributes of pride. |
tundegan:Daft BOT! I know Prof. Has personal relationship with Tinubu but much as he tries to ignore his excesses, the more the impunity is getting irritating and not long from now,Prof. will take it no more. |
David Hundeyin,I doff my cap for you...if you know what it means for a titled Igbo man to doff his cap for you,it simply means you are doing exceedingly well. |
The triumphal entry....very significant and in ushering the holy week.It also calls for sober reflection in our individual lifes! |
Meanwhile you have been running from pillar to post, visiting even your worst enemies for validation and giving unjustified appointments to your foes for settlement.Paying moles to unsettle opposition parties....in our local parlance 'that strategy don cast',the opposition are regrouping. Time shall tell. The suffering masses are so eager to vote your party out, that has brought untold hardship and you lots care less about the feelings of the people you lead. You act with reckless impunity. |
In other words, they should remain in perpetual servitude....be slaves to their bosses!for a temporary stay in America. |
MJ all the times. |
Effects of the wide spread use of Oluwole certificates in the South West....with the advent of social media, the 'sophistication' myth has been broken. No more cover up by the Lagos-Ibadan parapo media houses! |
Funke Akindele...very ambitious lady. |
If these leaders actually believes in Nigeria, this medical tourism would long have stopped.Buhari spent eight years and yet wasn't able to fix a hospital that he can trust and Tinubu, following his footprint have spent 2years and yet no hospital to handle his case here. Truly, these men lack the political will to turn things around. Nigeria must end this gerontocracy, these ancestors must not be allowed to lead us,we have a lot of vibrant young men and women whom can steer Nigeria to progress. |
Christian Chukwu oye ball!! May his rest in perfect peace Amen! |
Why is this government seeking validation at all cost. Even from a national failure like Buhari. The problem with Tinubu's govt,he doesn't really have organic supporters like Buhari, like Peter Obi,like even Atiku but rather, supporters whom supports for financial gains and a few for tribal reasons. 2027 is getting closer and it's time for him to start making friends and mending broken bridges because someone knows that the fall will be too heavy.while his online urchins keep insulting everyone, time shall tell. |
Such a compassionate man...this is the president we voted for,a man with a heart of gold,he relates with the ordinary people and feels their pain. Nobody can stop an idea whose time has come! As for Yusuf quadri, you fought a good fight and posterity will definitely be on your side.We all admire your courage. |
I don't like this Ijele speaks for anything,he is certainly been used by some forces, now they have left him to rot in jail. However,he deserves the right to fair hearing,he should be granted bail while the case is taken to court. He shouldn't be denied his God giving right. |
Please I want to know,is there any special law for northern terrorists and another for the rest of the country? What is this rubbish about repentant Boko haram,a man kills so many people and subject others to a life in IDP camps and after some times,he is asked to go and sin no more, while we have petty thieves whom have been languishing in our correctional centers for so many years. Henry Okah whom have since repented in the prison and helping the authorities to unearth some corrupt activities going on in our prisons,is still held behind bars. How about Mazi Nnamdi Kalu, loved by his people, spoke against marginalization and the herders expansionist agenda, unjustly renditioned to Nigeria and without any moral justification,he is still held against his wish. |
nairalanda1:So you want to claim that APC didn't rig the presidential elections,it did and even if PDP and LP joined forces then,if its rigged, there is nothing anyone could have done.Take for example,Rivers state which clearly went for LP and PDP coming second but Wike magically gave it to APC and reason for being the min. Of FCT. So many obvious cases of APC coming distant third but rigged.Dont forget Mahmoud's presidential election INEC server glitches. To mention but a few. |
Mahmoud Yakubu, posterity will remember you as a man whom shattered the hope of millions of Nigerian youths in search of a new and better Nigeria. karma is a bitch! and it states 'all actions have consequences which will affect the doer of the action at some future time'. I wonder how some people sleep at night knowing that they subverted the wishes of millions of people and as a result many have died. Let the blood of these saints, water the trees of freedom and liberty in Nigeria! |
This Onanuga of a guy is very disappointing,he doesn't talk like a professional journalist. When you hear him talk, only then you will understand that education does not really mould a man's character. He is so crude and unrefined, full of hatred and bitterness....at best,he is just an attack dog, with absolutely nothing to offer. |
Well deserved! |
We told you igbos in APC that you will as usual be used and dumped, ask Joe Igbokwe and other clowns. Don't worry, during campaigns they will bring you guys closer. As an Igbo guy, your sacrifice for APC amounts to nothing,so cry us a river. |
zero8zero:You always sound stupid and filled with bitterness, you have never made a single reasonable point in this forum order than insults.Hear yourself out, that the anchor borrowers program failed because of insecurity,o tell me something! Now the government you are projecting, is now celebrating its inefficiencies, with all the razzmatazz that insecurity has been reduced to the barest minimum when it is obvious from your submission that the government have silently surrendered sizable portion of Nigeria arable land to terrorists and bandits and according to you,it is the reason why the present agricultural programs will basically be on restricted areas. Every now and then, they government you love defending keep pretending that all is well, when they know that they can no longer protect the sovereignity of Nigeria. They so called boards of River basins which was inaugurated,is simply a job for the boys, political settlement, which you know as well as I do,that nothing can be achieved from that. The whole programs you mentioned are for the books, non I bet you, will be impactful! This government lacks the political will to move Nigeria forward, the leadership is too clannish and its body language tells it all. They spend so much time on bigotry, tribalism, pettiness and nepotism. |
This government is a total disappointment and its handlers are at best daft. A Tinubu that prides himself as a democrate,is now operating like a tyrant,a military junta. Ordinarily, Idris Abdulkarim's song could have gone unnoticed or may not sale that much but with this action from the mediocre NBC,every dick and harry now wants to hear the music and celebrate it.The handlers going from one blunder to another. |
Warrior99:Look at this clown that lives under the bridge, wants to form landlord. The problem is that lots of Yoruba's are very insecure and can not effectively compete on an equal ground with igbos. This leads to fear of the unknown, even most of their elites are mere tribal bigots but you will observe that Igbo elites hardly have time for this pettiness. Guy Please just get a life. |
Hemanwel:Thanks,I didn't edit! |
'Judiciary in Nigeria have been made a laughing stock....politicians have succeeded in messing it up,now it is open for the highest bidder. The supreme court that was once revered,it was the last hope of the masses,a custodian of hope,a court of original jurisdiction, court of last resort, the realm where precedents are set. Today,it is now history, political considerations, money and other selfish interests hold sway. The past great justices of the supreme court of Nigeria like Justice Chukwudifu Oputa,Justice Niki Tobi, justice sir Udo Udoma, justice A.G Karibi Whyte, justice Ephraim Akpata,Justice Lious Mbanefo, justice Mohammed Bello will all be turning in their graves. |
Make him go dey research on root crops!our own na make we sit don dey watch,at they appropriate time, they will know we are not stupid. |
She did well but being pregnant couldn't have affected her performance or was she pregnant all through her program. Anyway congrats! |
GeneralPula:...but couldn't have been as terrible as the one in Aso Rock forced on Nigerians by INEC! At least governor Adeleke has performed well by all indices! |
Because, it's no man's land... go and hug the transformer! |
