Inviting the president to commission a project is a normal thing which over the years has been so.Rather the president coming around to commission project signifies that the president is impressed with the governor's performance. Don't forget that both Obasanjo and Peter Obi have commissioned one project or the other in Abia state for gov.Otti. |
It was out of mere extremism and misadventure in Zamfara, the then governor insisted that they will practice sharia law in a secular nation like Nigeria, Obasanjo did all he could to calm it down during his tenure, but guess what?it strengthened different radical groups to come up with their own version of islam. What did they North got from it?Boko Haram, terrorists herdsmen,Lukurawa,ISWAP and a host of others, with the list still counting. |
FFK is acting too childish,we are beginning to understand that a certain culture in Nigeria permits pettiness even at the highest level,I feel diminished as human sharing the same space with certain people....I dey shame on behalf of these people. In other places, miscreants carryout certain acts but for these people,it seems their leaders are miscreants. Less I forget,Fayemi an ex governor whom was with Obi,was not mentioned. |
kmaster007:I'm not justifying it but these are they kind of issues you get in failed economies, the political leaders whom through their serial looting and gluttony have made such a man a victim. Let government provide these highly subsidized stalls in different localities and then aggressively go after those who are into street trading, that's how things atleast should be done. |
The situation of MAN U is particularly a big worry,a team that had 30 points by December 2024 and five months later, being May 2024 still have 39 points,i.e 9 points in 5 months and you want to go to Champions league to do what?Normally they should be relegated by the English FA via express order. |
If a state recognized as the best performing state in primary health and yet with these outright deficiencies, what then is obtainable in primary health in states in other parts of Nigeria, your guess is as good as mine! Nigerians should be ashamed of themselves, this is the best of your best and I'm sure that many people commenting here don't even know what PHCs are, because they have not even seen any in their streets or states. |
Tuprelo:So LP problem is bigger than Nigerian problem ,where people are massacred in numbers, including our dear soldiers, where we have turned out to be the poverty capital of the world and yet Tinubu is in Rome with his prodigal son disgracing Nigeria up and down. |
Please his name is chief Emeka Anyaoku and not 'Emerita'. |
But didn't they tell us that Tinubu built Lagos, fought back Atlantic ocean and created the 'almighty'Lekki and that he was divinely assigned by oduduwa,to carryout these works for the benefit of mankind, his cronies and political allies. That whatever future consequences of his actions are, must not be seen as though he committed an ecological blunder but rather the wrath of 'Sango'the yoruba god of thunder and lightning, whom may have been jealous of the city boy. |
kmaster007:I am sure if your government can provide very affordable stalls, the young man will willingly pay but no,such funds meant for public interest goes into their pockets. |
Tinubu supporters are about the dullest people on earth, imagine bringing opinion of a man praising Tinubu's leadership style in 1999 when he was the governor for 8yrs and comparing it with the complete disappointment he turned out to be now.Why not bring back videos of even just some months back of Reno Omokri's and Bwala's opinion of Tinubu and compare it with their present sycophancy or that doesn't matter? Some Nigerians honestly had wonderful opinion on Buhari and his anti corruption stand in the 80's,only for him to return as a monumental disaster....I am sure that even Tinubu's families and friends will be lamenting in their closets on how totally inefficient he has been. |
It's so painful when you see brothers, husbands and fathers fall, not because they are fighting external aggressors but while fighting an avoidable war caused either by screwed religious ideology or land grabbing ethnic expansionist ideology. Many are wives and children of these fallen heroes whom may end up homeless and wretched because 'Nigeria' may happen to them after their bread winners are gone. Just like the Lt.colonel was remembered, may this also trickle down to the non commissioned officers whom may have died or are permanently incapacitated while defending the nation while we sleep. |
ElSudani:OBJ also is strong as usual. |
How fast time runs,Wole Soyinka with his trademark grey hair, known for being recalcitrant in nature,is now a frail old man.... though at his age it takes real effort and God's mercy to move around without others aiding you but I can see him walk on his own. |
I hope this is not true but if it happens to be true then JAMB must shoulder the responsibility of bringing them right home and in good health condition...what arrant nonsense is this. |
If not for 'football' age,we know those that will top the list. |
IgOga:Bros, the worst form of deception is that of oneself, you know the truth as well as I do,when it got to the presidential elections carried out on the same day with Senate and house of reps, the system suddenly developed 'glitches'.For instance, the case of Rivers state was particularly funny, when Obi was in clear lead and has outshined APC in almost all polling units monitored by agents on ground, then along came the magic that earned Wike an aggrieved PDP man,the minister of federal capital territory in an APC govt. It's just that some Nigerians loves to change the narratives,if Obi could win Tinubu in Lagos his stronghold, then why not Rivers.Probably you have not been to Rivers to know the make up of its larger population.Anyway I rest my case, you can go on and keep deceiving yourself,it does not change real facts.Thousands of ballot papers where found dumped in bushes in Rivers,Nigerians are not as foolish as some of you assume Nigerians to be and it goes on and on. |
From your assertions,it means there are no rewards and consequences for our actions here on earth, you can 'live your live how you want',no moral guidance and when you die your Gs will throw a gig for you.Dont you think you sound outrightly senseless. |

yarimo:Pls keep abia state governor out of this...Abia state governor infact remains the best governor in this dispensation,he is in a class of his own. |
Sharpsharp00123:Listen to yourself and see how shameless you are,so your Tinubu knew that the North created boko haram to 'chase Jonathan',yet it was your Tinubu whom led the opposition and through Lagos Ibadan parapo propaganda media,he hyped it and made the world believe the GEJ was grossly incompetent....don't worry, what goes around comes around. |
In this Tinubu's government we have seen the true of colour of people from south west, they have taken tribalism, bigotry and nepotism to a new height,to the point that state actors are giving the nod to directly or indirectly apply it in whatever and however means they can. We have seen appointed officials of the federal government openly expressing their obvious tribalistic nature. What else, the body language of the president, shows that they have his tacit approval. Even hirings like Reno Omokri,FFK and others doing well to always advance topics that put knives on things that hold us together as a nation. Sooner than later,it may be too late to stop the evil day! |
Emmanuel900:Just a piece of advice, hatred and bitterness kills you faster than those you hate,it is like an acid that burns the plastic container even before getting to the percieved enemy. Free yourself from this and i promise you,you will do better in your chosen endeavor and there will absolutely be no need venting your frustration on others. |
Emmanuel900:..but you gained 'erection' as soon as you heard Chukwuemeka and jumped into the thread to come and vomit your pronounced and bitter hatred for Igbos wey no send you!! Bros,go and do better things with your life, you hypocrite. |
stealmatic:Olodo of the highest order, let me educate you a bit. A government bond is issued by the government to support public spending. It generally includes a commitment to pay periodic interest, called coupon payments, and to repay the face value on the maturity date. A Sukuk is a sharia-compliant bond-like instrument used in Islamic finance, may not necessarily attract interest but it must be paid back at maturity. |
Emmanuel900:..and yet you people were celebrating Olumide as the highest scorer at 370.You didn't come out to tell your brothers opening their gutters, that JAMB is yet to announce the highest.Hypocrisy,I spit! |
..and the borrowing continues with other formats, pay back 10naira and borrow 100 naira from a different organization. What happened to the promise made to Nigerians, that as soon as fuel subsidy is removed,we will have enough money to fix our infrastructures and social economic challenges.I remember they government propagandists, informing Nigerians of having saved over 3 trillion naira in the first three months of subsidy removal. Please I ask,why are we still hellbent on borrowing or is subsidy actually a scam? |
bro4u:...and Tinubu himself is what cargo?new, old or ancient cargo?your guess is as good as mine! |
How about the initial post by ethnic supremacists whom were celebrating one Olumide Ayodeji from Ondo state, they claimed he shattered a decade old record by scoring 370 points and he is the highest this year. Anyway congrats to Chukwuemeka for scoring 372 points,we are all proud of you,you are worth celebrating, that's how we roll! Congrats also to Olumide he is also worth celebrating, not an easy feat! |
