ChybuzzDD:You don't seem to understand where I'm coming from, the thread by the Op was intentional just to mock Igbo's on nairaland that our brother was killed and buried in Maidugari serving the Nigerian Army. I only tried to down play it, as in decent societies the military don't have tribe and their tribe should be patriotism to the nation and soldiers die everywhere around the world, doing the obvious. simple! |
True talk His Excellency Mr Peter Obi! A new Nigeria is possible. |
I know it will make headlines because he is Igbo,May his soul rest in perfect peace! Many others have gone and were buried in different parts of the country and the world. It is a pact he signed, being a soldier takes audacity and sometimes it seems like you prepare yourself for the uncertainties ahead. I just hope he will get the needful and his family may not have to regret the decision of their son to join the army. |
Ofemannnu:Very childish bro...grow up! |
Soludo our professor, what is happening to Anambra! |
Brain and beauty!....nwa eji ejemba, ada dioranma. It can only get better. |
obi4eze:But it does not sound okay that a dying club like MAN U or Tottenham, that narrowly escaped relegation will be allowed to play the champions league. It is highly demeaning, what are they going to compete for with the big boys! |
There is an unwritten law,if you must enter into the good books of Tinubu's government,is either you are a pronounced bigot or you disparage Obi/Atiku for you to be admitted. Soludo knows the game,he wants to please Tinubu and be loved,so he has every need to lie against Obi. But time shall tell! |
I guess visiting a private school built by the British, is regarded as a new project completed by Gov Sanwolu! |
We go ahead and borrow 100naira from a different establishment and pay up 10naira we borrowed from another establishment and then our online media crew and political jobbers go ahead and celebrate it as big achievement. More like robbing Peter to pay Paul! This is the definition of success by APC team. |
Treasure17:You guys that supports Arsenal Aka 'WE TRY FC',are always quick to anger. |
Obi has always been in a class of his own, even within the Nigerian political circle, they politicians knows that he is one of the few people that can bring the necessary changes needed in this country but because our politicians are very corrupt and almost all are self centered and only care about their pocket and how to share the national cake, they so much detest Obi. Obi will be a very bad business for corrupt politicians and it won't be business as usual. These forces of darkness, don't want Nigeria to ever be blessed with the grace of light. |
Paid some youths to sing the song, times are hard, boyz sent AZA and cash transfer were made...they don cash out!on the day of election, dey go tell u,who their papa be. |
TheChameleon:I won't honour you with a response, your user name says it all and i can tell your origin! |
How fast time flies, what a resilient people! |
The Heartbreak of January 6, 1971: Nigeria's Decree on Igbo Bank Accounts ***** On January 6, 1970, just a few days after the end of the devastating Nigerian Civil War, the Nigerian government enacted a decree that would etch a painful chapter into the history of the Igbo people. This decree, deeply rooted in the aftermath of conflict, mandated the freezing of all bank accounts owned by individuals of Igbo descent. With a chilling finality, every Igbo account was seized, and regardless of the funds previously held, each affected person received a mere £20. This stark sum, a pitiful fraction of what was rightfully theirs, symbolised the enormity of the loss and the stark reality of economic marginalizationnof Ndígbo. The funds confiscated from these accounts were then funneled into the Nigerian treasury, leaving countless Igbo families grappling with the cruel blow to their economic stability. This decree not only stripped Igbo people of their hard-earned savings but also underscored a period of profound

Soludo is placing his gubernatorial ambition at great risk, this is Anambra state,if he do any how,he go see any how. I know his arrangement with Tinubu,is just to secure his second tenure by November guber elections but he should tread carefully or else the anger of Anambra people will fall on him. |
Firebox123:Sometimes it seems some are paid to deceive others,5k on band A,means 20kwh.Just pumping water alone from the borehole can take 90% of that within 2wks,Once you on the AC for 4 hours a day,it can take more than 2 units daily, then your fridges ,television, lightnings and other electrical appliances will burn up the rest within 5 days . How then did you come up with what you are saying? |
This Mbah of a governor will go places, everything he does breaths excellency, the kind of innovation he is bringing into governance in Enugu is exceptional....this is the man,the world is waiting for! From Anambra to Enugu to Abia,we got it right,it can only get better. |
WorldRichest:Just the way northerners will only vote for those who care about them.Lagos boy, should wait for Lagos people to give him the vote that will return him as president in 2027.Shikena! |
The political hyenas in Abuja are ever willing to use brute force on anyone who speaks against them....its so terrible to think that this is happening in the so called democracy. Our true heroes of democracy,in the likes of Gani fawehinmi and others will be turning in their graves. One thing I can assure these civilian tyrants in Abuja,is that the 'power of the people is much stronger than the people in power'-Wael Ghonin. Let time be our judge!!! |
Talking about demarketing of a nation and here it comes, just in other to undermine the real problem on ground and as usual employing propaganda as a means of defence,in the face of obvious failure, this government is now informing the world that Nigeria percieved success in the academics,is as a result of exam cheat. I just can't believe my ears!!! |
DeLaRue:But these are the issues, some national clowns will wake tomorrow and start telling you how Tinubu built Lagos, forgetting that the money used for these massive projects is Federal govt money!thats why it's fair when Lagos is referred to as 'no man's land'. |
damoobaba:.. and those supporting him,are same migrants like him that are from Iragbaji and other villages in and around the brown roof republic, whom are mostly living under the bridges, shanties, cubicles or selling Agbo and are the first to claim they own Lagos. The joke is on you! |
Rexymania:Those terrorists are worst than witches and the bible says 'suffer not the witch to live'.Exodus 22:18. Deuteronomy 28:7,'the lord will cause the enemies which rise against you to be defeated before you,the shall come in one way and shall be scattered in different directions'. |
Shameless Oba!I thought the traditional institution is meant to be apolitical,APC has denigrated every institution in Nigeria. |
NgeneUkwenu:You don't even need to marry, Jesus is coming soon! |
Who is this saidaboj and why is her opinion making the frontpage of nairaland...I'm disappointed with nairaland. |
Emperor Wike....this FG is a big joke, imagine an FCT minister lording over an elected governor of his state, thanks to Tinubu. These guys are sending wrong message to anti democratic elements,we must be careful or else we put our country in jeopardy. |
This is a huge one, even Benin acclaimed to be the national temple of NBM! In the court of law,the goverment will claim that the Black Ax* confraternity is a menace to Benin city and with proof of heinous crimes seemingly committed by members of the group. However, the NBM which is registered with the CAC as the Neo bl*ck movement will also need to prove that it is not related to the Black Ax* confraternity in our tertiary institutions. This is going to be a difficult one to prove. As much as I do not support the activities of these neo fraternities and its violent nature,I still think that the governor shouldn't have demolish the structure, what happens to the idea of government through legal means seize and acquire the building for public interest. Let our society be governed by law. |
