PoliticsRe: Omoyele Sowore Tear-Gassed At Ooni Of Ife's Palace For Refusing To Prostrate by Austinleo: 12:35pm On Sep 14, 2018
I think you need to understand what bow in this context mean... I will prostrate or Bow for an elderly to show respect doesnt mean i see then as God or gods. Bending a lil when two people greet or are meeting in Asian culture is just a culture. So you need to get it right. I know we all want to go with the trend but me respecting you by bending my neck or knee doesnt mean anything bro.

When u knee as in the religion/worship context and have your forehead against the ground. Now that s another kind of bowing that you can justify by your mentality.

Ornament2003:
Rogues, thugs, fraudsters, mentally impaired all aspiring to be Nigeria President.

Thank God none of them can EVER attain the exalted position.

Sowore of all people. Hmmm. Arrant nonsense
PoliticsRe: Omoyele Sowore Tear-Gassed At Ooni Of Ife's Palace For Refusing To Prostrate by Austinleo: 3:34pm On Sep 11, 2018
Never seen a dumb comment like this before lol! Bowing to others is a sign of respect not making them God or putting them in the position of God. Culture be taught. Even the Bible or Quran are not against showing respect for whom it's due. Both Religion and tradition respect the order of kingship and elderly. They are never seen as God but as rulers. When you start calling them your God, treating/serving them is when it becomes idolatry...

People! Listen and pay more attention before you talk.

Thanks

TimeMachine:
Bowing down for another is an insult. In fact, it is an insult to bow down for any God. I think some Yorubas who bow for others are infected by some kind of virus that activates worship programs on their sub conscious level. I know not all Yoruba people bow for anyone. Not all will be so unlettered to do that. People like Mike Adenuga will never do such at his present level of understanding of the cosmic mechanics. He may have done so in the past based a level of ignorance.

I love all of things Yorubas stand for, but bowing down for anything whether physical or spiritual is a height of sophisticated ignorance.

Only sophisticated fools will disagree.
Foreign AffairsRe: See Explosive Response CNN Gave Trump On Twitter. by Austinleo: 3:33pm On Aug 30, 2018
One hardly finds a sensible individual like you on forums like this bro.

(People talk out of hate and ill-feelings)

It s funny since most people just talk and believe everything the Media says. I feel sorry for a lot of Nigerians because they are the most less informed people on this planet. They sit in the shithole and just make comments without knowing what's going on.

Everybody hates Trump and everyone follows

I'm not Trump fan but, seeing a lot of Nigerians make comments about America and Trump when they never traveled out of the state were they were born is sad.

Russia is a developing country(https://www.investopedia.com/updates/top-developing-countries/). Yes they have weapons but can you be world power/fight war when you dont have adequate resources (Finance) or meet the requirements?

America remains world power and there is nothing Haters can do by just grudging.

Ironically, America economy and military are getting better since the guy came in, highest stock ever, highest growth rate since 80s, lowest unemployment since the 60s, lowest unemployment rate among blacks ever, highest consumer, ISIS gone, Syria almost gone, etc. A times dolt too could be smart, so unfortunate the Man has temperament of a baby, racist/Hitler tendency, though CNN too behave like bad mother...but under him business don't seem to be shutting down, but growing at the highest unbelievable rate. Meaning that Buhari can be lifeless, uneducated, and unintelligent and still grow economy, unfortunately, this seem not to be so
CelebritiesRe: Burna Boy Splashes $65k On Diamond Encrusted Audemars Piguet Wristwatch by Austinleo: 3:13pm On Aug 09, 2018
Lol! And dumb Nigerians think he will really spend 65k$ on WW (How much do they make? A very large percentage of these guys you think have arrived dont even make 100k$ a year except for Endorsement). Let me enlighten you all in case you don't know.
People shoplift in the US or other countries and sell these stuffs for cut prices (Up to 90% less) or they use a credit card with minimum credit, charge it and have a number of days, (More than 30 days to return it) better still scammers use peoples cards with less money to purchase stuffs like this and sell it to them for cheap cheap cheap. Don't let these guys fool you or make you all feel downgraded pls.

Someone pls ask him to show us that watch in another month lol

You can hate my comment if you want but check my signature...

Doesn't make any sense. Too many less-informed people in Nigeria. I can't seem to be able to put the puzzle together in this story. All i see is stupid govt trying to steal public funds.

Can someone explain What ICT Cluster mean? And also put the puzzle together in this dumb innovation...

I agree with you and you are the only person who made a point here.... We should understand that most of these guys are into drugs and when you are doing that in SA anything can happen ... I can say for sure this is not xenophobic related ....

Your people in South Africa should respect themselves and live a dignified life just like the South Africans do in Nigeria.
If you go to another country' and keep doing and behaving anyhow all in the name of hustling you will see any how[/quote]

CareerRe: Computer Enginnering Or Computer Science by Austinleo: 9:21pm On Jan 04, 2016
To Add to that too, Computer Engineering is more specialized and Could give you all the knowledge you want. Truth is Computer Science touch base everything without a specific skill being learnt. Engineering is specific. If he wants to be good in programming then, finish your Bachelors and get trained in Programming as a Certified programmer. Mind you no school 4 year computer Science training trains you to be a real Certified IT Admin, Engr, or Architect. You need to advance and Learn more by getting Certified. Just a piece of Advice. I am an IT Engr and that is all i can say per my own opinion. So even if you Do computer Science, You still need Specialized training to be what you want to be.

PoliticsRe: This Is How Ambode Wants To Solve Traffic Problem In Lagos by Austinleo: 5:07pm On Jul 01, 2015
Ok.... But i see people wey still no get sense to know where to start from..... Person wey go do this needs more than enough alternative roads for commuters...

Question is: Even with the info, will commuters have alternative roads to go around the traffic? Smdh!!! Bad planners

Start by fixing roads first and creating various alternative routes and you wouldn't have to spend too much on Traffic Report Navi Systems....

Note: In other (Developed) countries, even with all that (Traffic Report Systems, Many Alternative Routes e.t.c) Traffic is inevitable

I see here another looter........
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Best Way To Answer This Interview: Tell Me About Yourself by Austinleo: 3:41pm On Jun 22, 2015
I think i can provide a little bit of help here.... Just a breakdown

To effectively answer the “Tell Me About Yourself” question, your response should be broken into five categories.

Recent professional achievements
Educational achievements
Applicable skills
Professional goals
Reason for interest in the company

Always avoid telling your life story or irrelevant things....
Note: "Tell me about yourself" should be short/simple and say more about you....

Not the case tho... He is only a graduate prolly doesn't have the money to set up business yet. But, The truth is there are lots of successful Nigerians in the State here. I agree with the fact that; If you have your money you can make it big there (TRUE) Both dont be deceived a lot os Nigerians are here too doing third hand Jobs (Making minimum wage) But then, there are lots of professionals who make real money. Those who make less will never tell you there are successful ones cos they want you to think everyone here is the same. This person is a Chemical Engineer like he/she said.... That's really big if he/she s saying the truth and that's a lot of money here. Especially in (Texas)..... Why would you want to go to a place that already has a lot of professionals. Job is hard to find in Nigeria to say the truth.... My own Advise is If u are saying the truth , This is where u can become big and then go back there and establish with your money... Gain Influence and then u can get urself into the Industry... With ur experience, Ur good!!!
eagleonearth:
Forget, if you have a viable business down here, what will you be doing on a foreign soil where your investment can go down d drain at any time. My great uncle who resides in the state told me how hard it is for a Nigerian residing over there to be affluent like d industrialists and moguls down here. Over there, it is comfort, sanity, good and working infrastructure that is at an average resident's disposal. Then, if you are a devoted christian and real African, the issue of the legalisation of gayism, lesbianism, etc will baffle you a lot because you will always see shit happen right b4 U and that's about all. We have not made mention of food commodities available to them which is far from african. My uncle came down here a while ago searching for cassava to eat as if his life depended on it. Bottom line is you can just be comfortable over there as a civil servant but down here a whole lot of business opportunities that can catapult you into opulence are open to U. The states is just good for vacation. My opinion though.

PS. Don't get discouraged coming down here provided you have a viable and promising biz.
