Jonathan is not keeping 10 Aircraft but Nigeria
Maxymilliano:

It doesn't make any economic sense to continue keeping 10 aircraft for a government that is serious in curbing fiscal profligacy, the cost of maintenance and associated charges in keeping 10 aircraft is not healthy for the economy

Ihe grossly under-perforimg and under-productive legislatures should also wake up to their responsibilities and provide a semblance of checks on some of the activities of the executive rather than just serving as leeches and getting paid for doing next to nothing ...

Politics / Re: Al-mustapha Is Still In The Nigerian Army by authenticblack: 11:49am On Jul 16, 2013
Politics is about who get what, when and how, ACN romanced with ACP, APGA etc, to gain the support of people from other parts of Nigeria. it was the court that freed him and not a state pardon. We all have cried for judicial independence. If the court had sentenced him to death, you are still going to talk of not giving him a fair hearing. We just have to move forward, what about the death of Bola Ige? non of you seems to ask Obj about it,he was the president at that time. But when the Issue of Dele Giwa is brought up,everyone want IBB head to roll. Let us move forward jare
sage_:

Al mustafa was never prosecuted by the federal government, mind you. He was prosecuted by the Lagos state government. Don't let sentiment becloud your sense of objectivity.

mitwitdot: for those who dont know, The release of Al-Mustapha is a political strategy employed by Jonathan's men to gain political grounds in the north come 2015 election.

Considering the overwhelming support and crowd he pulled in Kano on his arrival, its a solid strategy by the President to gain acceptance amongst Northerners notwithstanding the number of innocent lives he took and families bearing the grunt.

It is all POLITICS!
Politics / Re: Nigeria Rated 8th Most Corrupt Nation- PM NEWS, Lagos by authenticblack: 12:24pm On Jul 12, 2013
Why do you talk like you just know that Nigeria is a corrupt nation, why blaming one man for the ills done for more than 50 years,is your Counselors and Chairman not corrupt, is your governors and honourable members not corrupt, are you not corrupt?, why do we do the blame thing instead of thinking right................be objective my brother because corruption is in all places in Nigeria.
Clerverly: I said it, Jonathan is on a mission to bankrupt Nigeria. Anywhere you tune to in local televisions, all you will be hearing is trillion naira contracts awarded without corresponding works! Patience and her son getting out shape owing to the billions they allocated to themselves for food condiments! Clark and asari sharing billions as their efforts in intimidating nigerians! Billions earmarked to fight Amaechi in rivers! There is every need to put concerted effort and sweep these vagabonds out power immediately. Tomorrow maybe too late

Supporters of ACN in a short time will beg the FG to come rescue them from the hands of these bourgeosis, I pity them as they follow blindly, Lai or Liar Mohammed will open is big mouth and just let it out without thinking
thelastPope: I love Okupe to the bone! grin grin grin Hear him...

and again...

Exactly what their campaign is on NL! They have never been about positive and progressive debate. They only do the following:

1. Open threads to praise Fashola and ACN

2. Insult everyone and anyone who contributes a different opinion on those threads

3. Praise all south west ACN governors even when real evidence shows most of them are epic failures. In doing this, they select isolated projects with costs that are infinitesimal compared to their state allocations, and they extol those projects as epic ground breaking achievements. A good example is the so many days of praise singing of Amosun's infamous flyover in a state with chaotic and completely dilapidated gully-ways a.k.a roads. The whole of Sango, Lambe, Iju, Akute, Alagbole, Ajuwon, etc are a complete shytehole with terrible roads and have been completely neglected by the governor since 2011. The governor has done absolutely nothing in these places even with all the massive tenement rate he collects there.

4. They praise and support anything and everything Tinubu does or say. They explain it away on the false alter of pseudo performance even in the glaring fact that Lagos is still a mess after 14 years of ACN rule!

5. They support the highhandedness and undemocratic actions and inactions of Tinubu who they literally worship and bow to every morning when they wake up. Even in the face of wanton oppression going on, with Tinubu and his cronies taking peoples lands without pity and chasing them away with state resources. And this is not about Ibo or Yoruba. So many people that have been defrauded are Yoruba people. Go to Epe and see how Tinubu has literally acquired all the lands by force using state machinery. One day, people will rise up give those thugs a run for their money. It is coming very soon. People are angry. These fools on NL who collect monies from Alausa will come here talking nonsense as if they are speaking for Lagos state people. Most of them are from Osun, Ekiti and Ogun state. They have zero affiliation to Lagos except as "crumbs from the Asiwaju table" actors in this story of epic deception! Time will surely tell!

Ethnocentric has robbed us the sense of objectivity,is it not the FG that constructed the bridges in Lagos. Why say the Federal Government can not provide infrastructural facilities for Lagosians,Lagos state has had its fair share from the FG. Those who run LASG will soon sell the air that you breath for free in a short time. But I know a time is coming, very soon, that you will all beg the FG to come rescue you from the hands of these petty bourgeoisie.

God should be our focus and firm foundation, the truth is those who are criticizing knows the truth..God help us all.
wealthyprince: A good Christian should focus more on God and what He wants. We all know what is expected from a Christian, we all know churches that are doing their best to preach d truth, unfortunately most people commenting may be those who dislike the church or even unbelievers who are bent on crucifying d man of God. Fortunately, no matter what we say or judge...the word of God has prevailed. Work out ur salvation with trembling and fear...are u saved?

Why is it in Nigeria 85 percent of what we say is gossip...too bad. The father's conviction is not the son's, so if the members decides to follow the doctrine is their's to make, after all not one member is forced to worship in the church. Only God has the right to judge a man.

Too bad for a ACN Leader, haba, let the market women be and concentrate in your failed ACP that is going no where. Those who are ethnocentric are the ones that Tinubu and hiss like can fool...........
Guyman02:

This is why PDP will continue to rule Nigeria. They are the only National party not affiliated to any single individual, tribe or religion compared to CPC, ACN or APGA. Though I dont like their manner of running the country but it is a conglomeration of diverse people across Nigeria.
Tinubus daughter is political and ceremonial Iyaloja, when the opportunity comes the traders will choose their true Iyaloja!

The Lagos state Government and the Ogun state Government should join hands in fighting this battle. Ojodu area, Akute Junction are places that need some clean up. These so called people from the North, Chadians, Malians and Nigers are just there, standing with weapons in their hands all in the name of they are looking for job to do. These people should be flushed out, before something bad happens.
