amiraland: I really don't have any contact in cbn so won't b able to say for sure if oda letters are coming all I know is that some of d guys we did medicals with got their letter yesterday though I noticed that majority of them had no prior working experience. Most of us that had over 4 yrs experience in financial institutitions haven't gotten our offer. So I guess CBN are on top of their game. Be that as it may there should b no cause for alarm. If God says ull get the job ul definately get it . Its not a do or die affair. Abeg let me go back to my debiting and credting before I mistakenly credit a wrong account. Happy weekend guys and. Keep trusting the king of kings.

Thanks a lot for the info, I spoke with a guy too that came for the Medicals and he said same things. All the best

Who are thou to judge a man, who is without sin should cast stone. It is because you are far from Government that is why you talk the way you did. Reuben Abati talked more than did you in " PATITOS GANG" back then, alighting the ills of the then Govt. Same Reuben works with President as a SSA and sing the praises of the government
. Judge yourself first before judging others. No one is mocking God because "GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED"

YES!!! They are making mockery of God...Just look at the idoitic CAN president a PDP stalwart pretending to be Christian...Is it not the guy that a private jet reward was given to? Is that not Labaran Maku that lie repeatedly stretching his hand....Is that not your GEJ that pardoned Alamesiegha and busy shielding Stella Oduah kneeling down to "god"....Who is deceiving who? If our churches and mosques really had true worshipers, Nigeria is suposed to be the most advanced country in the world. Why do we have aethist nations like Germany ahead of us...we have allowed "religion" becloud our mind. and you my friend is a perfect example of what I am talking about![/quote]

Ogun State Business Preparedness with Ibikunle Amosun

Ogun state, in the South West of Nigeria, is a focal point of the federal government's economic transformation plan, mainly because
of its rich agriculture sector. Its proximity to the increasingly congested Lagos state means that it is a natural destination for the
expansion of manufacturing concerns. ABN's Wole Famurewa interviewed the Governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, about
its plans to leverage on this.
God bless Amosun, God Bless the people of Ogun state. We will all live to see the completion of this new Ogun state project

Archmed: Involving sensitive national institutions such as the Armed Forces in partisan politics only shows that the morality of the Presidency has not only been sacrificed on the alter of greed but also exposes the extent to which it can go in its quest 4 power.
Soon, they will know dat power is like sand in hand. The more u grab it,the more it slips out of your hand.

Yorubest: If his performance is overhyped, how come it is the number one investment destination in Nigeria?

How come, despite being the most populous, the state is about the most peaceful?

If with N20bn, Lagos still manages to get by and provide infrastructure for about 20millon people, please tell me what the FG is doing with over N160bn monthly for over 160million Nigerians

Your user name tells me where you are from, and it is not surprising that you reasoned the way you wrote. I am a Fan of Gov. Fashola, Amosun, Akpabio, let not do the blame game here. That was the coalition Against Corrupt leaders view about Lagos state government over hyped performance. CACL also have it's view about the Fed.Govt and the miss-appropriation of national fund. Lets not always speak from a biased premise, give a charitable interpretation to a mans action before proof unsound

Promhize: Pls, am not trying to derail this thread but because I'm 1st to comment.
I'm Igbo and I want to say I'm totally disappointed in my Igbo brothers that are laying claim of any sort to the development of Lagos.
I don't care if your father owns $10billion worth of estate and landed property in Lagos, let's not deceive ourselfs, if it hurts anyone of us so bad, let's go back and develop our land too, after-all onitsha has the largest market in west-africa.
U guys are making a joke of Igbos on here, stop laying stupid claim on lagos, ve u ever seen anybody with Uche, Nnamdi as surname from Lagos.
If we own as much as we claim in Lagos, what does Lagos and southwest have in terms of resources that we don't have, stop arguing stupid blind arguments on here.
We Igbo's are the problem of ourselves, most Igbo when they make it in the west only go back home to build mansions just to show off.

Enugu has coal in commercial quantity
Anambra has oil, with its trademark 4 to 5 storey buildings which only need painting to beautify onitsha, not to forget the tourist attraction anambra. Igbos are known to be good, witty entrepreneurs - we revolutionised the transport system which is evident in companies such as ABC, young shall grow and so on, innoson motors is producing in Nigeria!
Abia has oil, invest aba-made shoes - Celebrities are now wearing Nigerian designers, who said Nigeria's Nike, addidas can't come out of aba, china started small remember.
I'm a student, I live in the southwest. My dad owns a land and house in the southwest, that does not mean I should come here and start laying claim to Lagos, that's pure stupid and childish.

Nobody should qoute or reply me, just like if u want to.
This is probably the truest of words I have heard in a Long time. The Igbos can do it. You developed Alaba International Market, you developed Aspamda ans Sand filling Shibiri, the new site for proposed Alaba market. Go and give this support to boys at home and I tell you we all will go back home.

We should go to the Ministerial list and see how many Ijaws are appointed before we start talking, just because Rufai talked. In as much that some people think that they are much read than any other, they know nothing about political gimmicks. My prayer everyday is for the Hausa/Fulani to grab power and let see who is ethnocentric, let see who will be the first to complain. Who are the people Balarabe Musa said over the years are too incapable of rising above narrow tribal interest and reciprocating goodwill by treating other group with respects and that every crises in Nigeria since independence, practically, has its root in their attitude?. Big question. It is only in Nigeria that Elder state men would come out in the public and say things that ought not to be heard, and we all will stand and clap for them. Bisi Akande, what did he do in his state while he was governing?,is he any better.Nigerians think your head

Politics / Re: Anti-amaechi Protesters At Port-Harcourt Airport Yesterday (Pictures) by authenticblack: 11:11am On Jul 17, 2013
well said bro, protesting is part of the peoples' right, Amaechi should be thinking of how to move the state forward instead of using cheap tactics to score cheap political marks. Lagos state just signed a joint venture financing agreement that will boost the nation’s local crude oil refining capacity by 100,000 barrels per day with a Singaporean firm, Eton Finance Private Limited to build Badagry Petroleum Refinery Limited. What is Amaechi doing?,the people voted for him and to give them the divedends of democracy. Governor forum chairmanship is unconstitutional and that can not be used to disrupt the peace of Rivers people.
Sincere 9gerian:
What was the police supposed to do? Kill all the protesters? Didn't people protest against removal of fuel subsidy for several days? This is democracy. Both the pro- and anti-Amaechi groups have the right to protest and even throw stones. The much the police can do is restrain the protesters to certain areas, which they did in this instance because the four governors and Amaechi moved to and fro the govt house. The police cannot stop people from throwing stones.

Moreover, governors are not the president that needs maximum security. Even the president with his maximum security was once a victim of stone throwing protesters.
