I was taken to the top pinnacle where I was given an eagles’s eye to for say that There is no Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nigeria. I come with fact and History and I plea you reason with me.

The Coronavirus is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).The outbreak was identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

Coronavirus was declared a Global pandemic on March 11, 2020 backward to February 28, 2020 Nigeria so called recorded the first Patient who they say he came in from Italy.

Before I proceed let me remind you that Nigeria is a country that has up to 200 Million People, geeing upto 9,000 Professors with millions of Graduates but still we cannot ask questions as enlightened people.

It is only when we begin to ask our leaders questions and we pressure them to answer those questions that we will have an Accountable and transparent nation of which we can call our own.

Meanwhile on the 21st of March 2020 the first index Nigeria Case an Italian was discharged and up till today we don’t know him.
When this Foreigner entered Nigeria and was quarantined we didn’t get to see a picture of this man and even his name everything was hidden to Nigerians.

Every morning and Evening I sit in my parlor with my eyes so keen to my Television wanting to see the Nigerians that has been Infected with this Coronavirus but lo and Behold I cannot see not even one.
When I log in my twitter account and then go through the The official Twitter account of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) I get scary figures day by day. Some days up to 20 Cases will be reported and I keep asking my Self where are those people.


I stand to be corrected with fact, I will keep saying that There is No Coronavirus in Nigeria, if there is Coronavirus and we have those confirmed cases here in Nigeria then Our Mainstream media should do the needful, Our Government should allow the media do the needful.

Now let’s flashback to when we had Ebola Outbreak in Nigeria we were able to see those who were infected, Even the First man Who came in to the Country name.........

The European Union, EU, on Tuesday gave the Nigerian government a grant of €50 million equivalent to 21 Billion Naira to help the country fight the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease.

President Buhari was reported to have received in audience the European Union (EU) delegation at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja.

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, while giving an update on the meeting via a tweet said that the EU gave a €50 million grant to Nigeria to fight COVID-19.

He said, ”EU gives Nigeria a grant of 50 million Euro to fight COVID-19.

”Head of EU delegation, Amb Ketil Karlsen, at the event commended President Buhari for ‘his powerful address to the nation last night,’ and for ‘the bold and necessary measures he has taken.”

Theodore Orji, Former Governor of Abia State and current Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial district is bringing his political career to a halt in 2023.

Orji also disclaimed his purported campaign posters that adorned some streets in Umuahia and Aba towns, purporting that he is running for president come 2023.

In a statement signed by Ifeanyi Umere, his Chief Liaison Officer and made available to newsmen on Saturday, Senator Theodore Orji accused disgruntled political enemies of being behind “the wicked act.”

The statement stated partly, “Our attention has been drawn to some posters adorning some streets in Umuahia and Aba purporting that Senator TA Orji is running for President come 2023.

The Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has told Nigeria to Stay at home one more time and will will take care of them by sending them reliefs.

The President thanked all Nigerians for their patience, resolve and strong determination to defeat the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

His spokesman, Garba Shehu, said this in a statement on Saturday.

The President said: “We realize that today, there will be sons and daughters unable to visit their parents, and elders that are isolated from young ones. And there will be those who live day-to-day, eating as they earn, who face real and present suffering.
No elected government could ask more of the citizens of the country that elected them than today we ask of you. But we must ask you – once more – to observe restrictions on movement where they are in place, and follow the instructions of our scientists and medical advisers: stay home, wash your hands, save lives.

“The freedoms we ask you to willingly forsake today will only last as long as our scientific advisers declare they are necessary. But they are essential – world over – to halt and defeat the spread of this virus.

“For those who suffer most egregiously, the Government has announced multiple measures to assist: 70,000 tonnes of grain is being released from the National Strategic Grain Reserves for distribution to those in most need; distribution of small cash payments are also being made, and will continue to be made by the federal government in the states and local government areas.

“We ask you to listen and follow public announcements via the mass media for instructions as to how to receive this government support – and learn of more public assistance in the coming days.

“All that the Government is asking you to endure is because nowhere in the world today is there any known way of defeating this pandemic. There is no vaccine. And that means there are choices to be made: between continuing as usual, or accepting the restrictions even when they come with unintended consequences.
